Not only did we get daily updates & pics, but she also sent a pic and informed us of a lump she found on one of our pups to let us know. She went above and beyond minimum pet care and even cleaned up and poop scooped. I felt stress free during our trip seeing the pics of our dogs having fun with her. I would hire her again and recommend her in a heartbeat. Our flight was also delayed 6hrs and she was so supportive during a stressful time—Totally jumped in to say she was flexible to be standby should a longer stay arise to make sure our dogs were cared for and got any needed meds as the day went on. About: I have had cats for more than half of my life and dog-sat for around the same amount of time. I used to dog sit two huskies all the time, had a dog of my own for a short time, and have experience dog sitting for labs as well! I have even taken care of a bearded dragon and snake on multiple occasions. Rover does not list animals other than cats and dogs directly but I am happy to arrange care for another animal as well, including exotic animals, for a fee that can be discussed. I am volunteering at the humane society and am very involved in caring for animals as much as I have time for. I am excited and ready to care for any and all pets that need it and will stick to specific details given. I won't hesitate to ask questions about the care of your pets when I have them to make sure your pet gets the utmost care and love while you're away or busy, and id yoy have plants that need watering, say the word and I'll do that too! I am currently full time in senior year of high-school and volunteering for two hours a week on the weekends, but I graduate in a month and will have all the time in the world to pet sit! I follow every instruction for food, water, walk, and treats and ask questions if I am unsure of something. I tend to stay longer than needed for check in visits just to give pets some company if I have the time. Unless pets are not very social, they will get all kinds of attention, and if they have any anxiety or behavioral differences I will be very careful and act however is best for them. I am very sure to be on time for visits and will be very specific to follow instructions for walking or being taken outside.

She was incredibly attentive, super kind with our pets, and clearly loved spending time with them. She even surprised our dog with some plush toys before she left, which meant so much to us. When we came back, both of our pets were completely relaxed and happy, which says everything about the level of care they received. On top of pet care, she was a huge help with things around the house when they came up and shared really helpful advice for managing our dog’s allergies. About: I’ve loved dogs since I can remember. Since my parents are allergic I could not own one growing up so I volunteered walking all different sorts of dogs at our local shelter. Along with that, I’ve dog sat most of my life and brought shelter dogs on road trips and many other fun adventures. I work nights at Starbucks, so I have mornings, early afternoons, and nights open ( as I only work until 7:45pm) ! I have three days off a week to go on adventures, and looove being outside! Making a pet feel comfortable and loved is so so important. Any instructions are always followed and I love being able to create my own bond with the animal as well!

About: Hi I’m Josie! I’m young, responsible, and flexible! I often take care of people’s pets (dogs, cats, etc) at their home while on short or long vacations. I am available for daily care (feedings and walks) as well as short term or long term pet and house sitting. I work from home most days and can be there as little or as often as needed! I work very hard at my full time job, but I get to work remotely so I am around for pet and house sitting! I’m young, friendly, and very active. I love animals and because I don’t have any pets of my own I get my fill by pet sitting 😊 I live in an apartment with a roommate so I prefer to stay at my clients’ home while long-term pet sitting. Otherwise I am available for daily care like feedings and potty breaks. Keeping the pets at home and having me drop by or stay there with them is usually most comfortable for them, anyways! 😊
