“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. About: I have always had a love for cats. I have grown up with my older sisters cats and have spent much of my life caring and playing with them. About: My very first job was working at a family owned boarding and grooming kennel. I started when I was 14 years old and worked there through college. In between that, I've pet sat for several family members and friends. I work full time as a second shift (3:00 pm - 11pm) 911 dispatcher. I'd love to do some evening or early morning walks to start and would like to expand into pet sitting as my schedule allows. I have preference to pet sitting at the clients home because my roommates dog is a bit fickle on who she gets along with. Plus I own a cat and I know not every dog likes cats. As a pet sitter, I intend to take your dog for regular walks in addition to normal outside play time. I can work with your dog on any ongoing training you have with them.
About: I am a 19 years old and have grown up loving animals since day one. I am a very energetic person that absolutely loves to play with animals of all sorts. About: Hello everyone! I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, growing up with pups and then adopting 3 dogs of my own! My husband and I love dogs so much we recently started fostering as well! I’ve been working for rover for over 9 years now and absolutely love meeting and giving love and attention to pets of all kinds. My husband recently moved back to Wisconsin after living in Colorado for the last 7 years. About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. Throughout her life I have trained her for obedience and herding, and have dealt with low confidence and reactivity with her daily. I am experienced with dogs who are shy and tend to be reactive.
