I've had the privilege of caring for my 10-year-old dog, Splash, which has taught me the importance of patience, trust, and routine. In addition, in the past, I have had a few repeat clients that I saw weekly as well as additional as-needed clients. I have experience with drop-ins, walks, and house sitting for multiple days. I truly care about your dog’s well-being and will treat them like my own, providing a safe, loving, and playful environment! I have a full-time job with 1-2 work from home days depending on the week. I can be available in the morning, mid-day, afternoon, or evening on the weekends and certain week days. Happy to work with you to fit the needs of you and your pet:). In my home or your dog's home, I prioritize creating a comfortable and safe environment. I will stick to routines that your dog is familiar with (feeding times, walks, playtime, etc.) to keep them feeling secure. My goal is to ensure they feel loved and cared for, just like they would with their own family. I currently live in an apartment in downtown Madison, therefore I do not have a yard for your fur baby to play in. However, I have a handy mom van with me to take to any pre-approved parks or any other destinations that you and I would discuss!

About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. Throughout her life I have trained her for obedience and herding, and have dealt with low confidence and reactivity with her daily. I am experienced with dogs who are shy and tend to be reactive. I have a part time internship at UW Madison, so I have partially and completely free days every week. That being said, I will have plenty of time to make house visits around this schedule. I have experience training dogs and love hanging out with any breed of dog. I believe dogs need both mental and physical stimulation in order to be fulfilled.

I will treat your pet as my own whether it’s in my home or your home. I work a full time job only seven minutes from my home. My job is incredibly flexible and understanding of my need to let animals out or even leave work early for pet care! I have a balcony that animals can hang out on and a large grassy field that I take animals for walks on. I always keep them leashed. If I want them to be unleashed, I can take them to the local dog park five minutes from my house! I am comfortable with animals on furniture and sleeping in bed with me. I have access to my own crate if the animal is crate trained.
