About: I’ve had animals in every corner of my life, throughout my whole life! I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats all with various needs such as medications, appointments, and mobile assistance. I have also volunteered with Wisconsin WildCare and local humane societies. I am a passionate & fearless animal advocate with speed dial access to a large animal vet and a retired DNR officer. I will treat your pet as my own whether it’s in my home or your home. I work a full time job only seven minutes from my home. My job is incredibly flexible and understanding of my need to let animals out or even leave work early for pet care! I have a balcony that animals can hang out on and a large grassy field that I take animals for walks on. I always keep them leashed. If I want them to be unleashed, I can take them to the local dog park five minutes from my house! I am comfortable with animals on furniture and sleeping in bed with me. I have access to my own crate if the animal is crate trained.

“Mathilda is wonderful! She was completely flexile and accommodating when our dates changed due to weather. She arrived early to care for our dog, brought him treats and presents and sent multiple updates and pictures while she was there which made me feel so good. I could see he was enjoying his time with her immensely! We will definitely reach out to Mathilda again when we need someone. It’s reassuring to know your pet will be loved and well taken care of when you have to leave them.”

About: I grew up with dogs and horses and I now have cats as well I love all animals and I would do anything for them I will keep them safe and loved. I worked for a lady for about a year and a half and I took care of all of her pets and loved them and treated them as my own which I would do with yours as well. My main priority is keeping your pets safe and loved as I know how much they mean to you. I am currently trying to find a part time job but I will have time to do this and will make time if things are needed. I can crate your dogs if needed, I can feed them, I can love on them, I can let them out to go potty, and I can of course walk them. You let me know what you need and I can do it.

About: My pet-sitting experiences include looking after both cats and dogs day to day and for extended periods of time. When taking care of cats, I make sure they have clean water and food at all times; keep their environment clean; watch over them and see if they are healthy; and interact with them by playing with them on a daily basis. I also have experience caring for dogs of various sizes and energy levels. Making sure their fed, walked, groomed, and cleaning up any messes/ their environment. In addition always making sure they have access to clean drinking water and providing plenty of playtime and attention. I occasionally take care of a family friend’s dog who has arthritis. I help keep her comfortable through gentle massages, giving her medication as directed, and hand-feeding her when necessary. In doing so, I learned to be patient and attentive in caring for an animal's individual needs. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals. I always go the extra mile into taking good care of animals, ensuring their safety, and comfort in the absence of their owners. I treat every pet as if they were my own and doing everything I can to ensure their happiness. I am extremely flexible with regards to my schedule, and can be available for the most part of the day. I wake up early, so feeding and taking the animals for walk won't be a problem at all. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I value their safety, trust, and maintaining a calm and familiar environment for their pet. It is important for me to carefully follow all the instructions concerning their feeding schedule, treatment, taking medication, and other specific care. It goes without saying that I make sure that the pets receive proper meals and have clean water to drink. I also try to keep the house as clean as possible, including litter boxes for cats and any messes that may occur. I also observe the pets to ensure everything seems normal and they’re healthy. I believe that building trust with both pets and owners is essential, I’ll always provide them with updates and photographs about the current condition of the pets. My goal is to make sure their pet is cared for and mostly importantly happy.

About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I was little, between dogs, cats, reptiles, and even farm animals such as dairy cows, pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I can take care of pets at any time of day or night, and I can walk dogs after 4 pm. Tuesday & Thursday, I do have class from 7-10 am. I have a fence for my pets, we play with toys, and we go on walks (depending on the weather). My dog will sleep where she is most comfortable and she always goes to the bathroom on time.

About: I lived on a farm when I was a little one. Later, I was a trusted house sitter for relatives when they traveled (watching the home and taking care of 2 dogs and 2 cats). I owned my own cat for 15 years. I've taken care of farm animals but not on a regular basis. I'm competant with delivering meds and being really careful with senior pets and those needing special care. I'm one of those people who talk to pets like they are people. I can be there for the extra play and snuggles puppies need, but I think the initial potty training should be by their owner. I carefully listen to the owners and what their schedule is like. Then I morph my schedule to be very close to that so the routine is similar with me and their pet. I adhere to the pet owners instructions. I make myself available for the pet so we learn to trust each other. I show lots of affection, if the pet wants to receive it. If not, I can give them space.

About: Hello my name is Candida (Candi). I have worked in and with Rescues and Humane Societies throughout the State of WI over the last 30 years. I currently have 4 dogs and live out in the country with lots of room to run. I am very familiar with different behavior issues as well as how to work with your pets to get through those issues. This experience comes from fostering many high risk animals over the years. Your pet will be treated the same in my home as he/ she is treated in your home. If they go on your furniture, they are welcome on mine, etc. I am always willing to go the extra mile, if your pet needs a bath or a nail clip, I am happy to do that. I have experience with training, CPR, Giving Meds both by mouth and shot. Some of my friends lovingly call me the crazy dog lady because of my deep love for dogs, they have feelings and emotions just as we do and I always take that into consideration when caring for them. Given the opportunity I will show you that you can trust me to care for your baby while you are away just as you care for them when you are home. I currently work part time at my own small business so my schedule is super flexible and can be easily worked around your needs. This gives me the flexibility to give your pet all the time and attention they need while in my care. I have four dogs that are the sweetest babies. They get along great with all animals as well as kids. I do not have a fenced yard as we live on 80 acres out in the country, but I do have a portable temporary fencing that can be put up for outside time. We have a large area in the lower level of our home for inside play time. As I said earlier, when your pet is in my home, they will be treated just as they are when they are with you. I know how important routine is to their little minds. If you feed at a certain time, I will follow that routine. I know mine have a very set routine, they surely know when dinner time is. :o)

She stayed overnight with our dogs, took them on walks, and kept us updated with plenty of pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. The biggest surprise was coming home to our dogs’ feeding station it had been spotless! We had left it pretty messy, and she cleaned it immaculately without us ever asking. That level of care and attention to detail meant so much to us. It’s obvious she genuinely loves animals and treated our dogs like they were her own. They were happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable with her. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will absolutely be booking with her again. About: I have worked as a professional pet sitter for around 5 years with Pawsau Petsitters out of Central WI. I also have plenty of private/personal petsitting experience going all the way back to 2008 taking care of all types of animals from farm animals to reptiles, dogs, & cats. I also have experience working in the shelter atmosphere, where I have primarily focused on reptiles and bully breeds. I work overnights on a rotating schedule 7pm-7am as a first responder, and only work every other weekend. I am available for pet care in my free time I am willing to come to your home and care for your fur babies in whichever way needed. “I don’t know how to adequately express how grateful we are that we hired Stella. If you want the short version without the saga: Stella is THEE best dog sitter EVER. I will hire her again and again!! Smudge loved her immediately at our meet and greet, and we felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. Then, just before our trip, Smudge had X-rays on his leg and became very sick afterward. We were worried sick. I had Stella come over a second time so I could walk her through the probiotics and instructions from our vet, hoping he would be back to himself in a few days. We had to leave the next day. What happened after we left was something none of us could have imagined, and I cannot imagine what we would have done if Stella hadn’t been the person caring for him. She tried everything to get Smudge to eat and kept us regularly updated on how he was doing. When she became concerned that he wasn’t improving, she proactively told us she thought he needed to go to the emergency vet. She packed his bed into her car so he’d be comfortable and took him. When the first treatment of fluids and anti-nausea medication didn’t work, she took him back to the ER, where he ultimately had to be hospitalized. Stella took a day off work to care for him. When Smudge came home, she dealt with vomit and accidents, did laundry, cleaned up after him and continued caring for him through all of it. She never once complained or made us feel like any of this was an inconvenience. And after Smudge finally started getting better, Stella herself got sick. She cared for our boy as though he were her own dog. She advocated for him when he needed more care, and I truly believe she saved his life. You would be crazy not to hire this amazing human to care for your pets. Stella is 100% part of our family now. If she ever needs anything from us, I hope she knows she can ask. We will never forget what she did for Smudge, and we will be forever grateful to her.”

When staying in your home, I treat your space with respect and keep everything clean and tidy while maintaining your pet’s usual schedule.
