“Stefanie and her family were so loving to my little dog Dolly! I cant say enough about how accommodating they were while I was away in Arizona for the week. I highly recommend them for your pups dog sitting needs! Will be using them again in the future for sure. Dolly sure does miss them all!”

“Edith is a fantastic! My dog Maxx absolutely loves spending time with her. She keeps me well informed with regular updates and photos, so I never worry when I’m away. Edith is also very flexible with my schedule and has been very accommodating. I feel completely comfortable leaving Maxx in her care. Being new to Madison, we were lucky to have found her.”

“Lindsay was quick to respond to all my messages and made it easy to arrange drop off and pick up. She sent a number of photos of my dog and took her for a number of long walks, just what the dog needs to balance her abundance energy. I would highly recommend her and will use her again.”

“Our quirky rescue pup was so well taken care of while we were away! In every update we got it was clear that our dog was feeling more and more comfortable and was left in good hands. We will definitely book again!”

“We had a wonderful experience! This family took excellent care of our mini goldendoodle while we were on vacation—so kind, attentive, and thoughtful. They sent plenty of pictures and updates, which gave us total peace of mind and showed he was happy and having fun. Highly recommend!”

“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”

“Heather and her family welcomed Darcy back to their home with open arms. She sent photos of Darcy throughout her stay so we could see how she was doing. She looked so happy and comfortable in their home. This was her second stay and we’ve already booked another. We are so grateful to have found this home away from home for Darcy!”

“This was my first time using Rover and Lindsey did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable with leaving Thelma Lou in her care. From the photos she sent, to seeing Thelma Lou when I picked her up, I know my dog had a wonderful time and was treated well. I highly recommend Lindsey to anyone.”

“This is our second time booking with Christine, and she is a great sitter. You can tell that she truly cares about the health and happiness of all of the animals in her home. We are very grateful that she was able to accommodate a last minute request, and she sent so many cute pictures! We will definitely send Georgie to her again.”
“Jodi and her husband were amazing when our little Luna stayed with them for a week. Jodi was so great with keeping us posted every other day with pictures, messages and even a video! Their home is a dog's paradise! We truly couldn't have asked for a better place for our pup to be while we were on vacation, and we will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Robert was great with our puppy and provided regular updates. Very flexible with working with us on a pick up time when circumstances caused some big delays on our end.”

“Gina is great! We did a meet and greet first so her and my dogs could get acquainted, and to make sure it would be safe for all. She sent me pics of my boys while I was away and I really appreciated that! She treated my boys like her own fur babies! I highly recommend Gina! 5 stars for sure!”
“Our little pup Rena absolutely enjoyed her stay with Tessa! We were given the best pup-dates throughout the day and enjoyed seeing pictures of our pup having the best vacation with Tessa and Tennessee. Thank you for your care, attention, and love to Rena! Tessa was also super flexible with drop off after we had to deal with a medical emergency and I am so grateful for that!”

“Ollie came home happy, with a tennis ball in his sleepover bag! I got regular updates and was so glad to see him having such a great time with the family. Thank you so much, Michelle! 💚”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
