It was very important to me that Zeus was in truly caring and reliable hands, and Cylir did an amazing job. She took great care of him, gave him lots of walks, attention, and love. I was also absolutely thrilled with the dog play area where Zeus could dig and really enjoy his time. It truly felt like Zeus was on a little vacation 😊 Thank you so much! We’ll definitely be back.

Lauren jumped on board last minute to take care of my sweet girl—she was so attentive and communicative, and even gave me some local tips. Would rover with her again!

I can’t say enough great things about Candi and the care she took with our two dogs. I’ve never felt so comfortable with “boarding” my dogs while I was gone for a long trip. I knew they were being treated like part of her family. She sent videos and pictures to keep me updated. My big dog ended up having some stomach issues and Candi didn’t skip a beat. We called my vet and she picked up some meds and got her back on track. Her four dogs were great with mine - they had such a blast. Not sure who enjoyed the vacation more, me or the dogs. She also has a beautiful acreage for them to run around and get fresh air. Wish I would have found her earlier! Thank you Candi!

We had a wonderful experience leaving our 11-year-old Frenchie for an overnight stay! Homa has a beautiful property that was absolutely perfect for exploring. She was incredibly prompt and helpful while we were figuring out drop-off and pick-up times, and she kept our minds at ease by sending picture updates throughout the stay. Highly recommend!

Shelby was the perfect host for our puppy. She was super friendly, responded very quickly, gave us updates and pictures on how Copper was doing, and took great care of him. We’ll definitely be re-booking the next time we need to go out of town.

AMAZING!!! Lindsey is a very sweet person and an incredible dog care taker. We left for a family trip for few days and our dog stayed with her. We did not have any worries. We got updates from her daily and our dog had so much fun playing with Lindsey’s dog. Great communication too. If I could, I would give her 10 stars!!!

Very good stay. Daisy was well taken care of. Plus, due to some weather, Barb was able to accommodate a later pickup for us which was greatly appreciated.

I boarded my dog Cooper with Katie for two days and nights. Katie was very responsive when I approached her and she sent text and photos of Cooper during his stay with her. She played with him and he looked very happy. She has a great yard for Cooper to play fetch. I would definitely have Katie watch Cooper again.

About: Large home with large yard. Out in the country so no leashes needed. I have 2 of my own dogs and have watched others here in my home. Treat them like my children. Your fur baby will make new friends, have lots of playtime, and be treated as family I work from home so I am always around for play and potty breaks. I care for them as I would my own. I love dogs and have plenty of that love to share. My dogs also love other fur babies so your dog will have lots of play and interaction. Large yard with lots of space to play. Larger house so indoor play as well. Potty breaks every 2 hours if needed. We love to sleep with our fur babies and prefer no kenneling

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
