About: I’ve taken care of dogs for about 10 years, mostly my own (now senior) dogs. I also had a dog who was special needs (partially blind and deaf), and unfortunately passed 3 years ago. I am always open to taking care of your pets! I’m normally the most free every day but Wednesday and do not mind spending the night with your pets! I cannot currently house pets in my own home, but I’m always free to stay at your home! I drive, so only staying for a few hours at a time is also okay. Since I have senior dogs, they often “forget” they went outside, so frequent potty breaks (including in the night) is a must. I also give my dogs medication, so if your pup needs oral medication, I am 100% okay with that.
About: Hello! i’ve had pets since 4 years old. I’m a cat owner and have dogs as well. I’ve helped family members/friends with drop ins for their dogs from time to time. I love animals and can handle small to large dogs as well as cats! I am currently working as a full time nanny. Mon-Fri 9-5 hours ish. I’d be willing to make drop ins before and after work. Weekends are free and flexible so i’d be happy to offer assistance on those days! I can assure you your pets will be safely taken care of in your home. Making sure they are given the correct food, medication, assistance, and are staying happy!
About: I have years of experience working with dogs. More recently I’ve dog sat for family friends and my boyfriend is a dog trainer/groomer/boarder so I get to be around dogs a lot! About: I grew up with many cats and dogs but currently I have one dog and two cats! My pets are my world and I don't know what I would do without them. I have had three kittens that I found in my old neighborhood and took care of them until we found them an owner. I have pet sat for family and friends and love spending time with their babies. I had a dog growing up that had gotten older and needed extra care like medications and help with mobility so he stayed with me for a few weeks as I took care of him. I understand how important our fur babies are so I promise to treat yours as my own with plenty of love and attention! <3 I am currently changing my career goals so my schedule is wide open! I am available weekdays and weekends, and have a flexible schedule. I live at home with my parents so I have family members to take care of my pets while I am looking after yours! At home I live with 5 family members and three pets without a fenced in yard so it is ideal to work in your environment, but I do own a medium sized dog crate if you require one. My dog is an anxious girl so she likes to stay inside with her humans but we take her on walks and try to take her to dog parks to socialize. If I am working in your home I can accommodate to as many needs as you like! Whether you like a strict schedule, your pet requires medications, or your pet has any routines they are used to I will make sure they feel safe and comfortable!

I’m really glad Anissa was available to watch my cats the following week. Doing two back-to-back trips was stressful, but I knew I was in good hands. We were able to work out some minor kinks in their care, and it made for a smoother visiting time! She was so good with Azula, and I got plenty of pictures (pictures of Mitski were occasionally included, as long as she was behind the washing machine). :)

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
