About: I’ve been around animals for years and truly love caring for pets of all personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where every pet is treated like part of the family. I have experience with dogs, cats, puppies, and other pets, and I understand that every animal has their own routine and personality. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight care. I also make sure pet parents receive plenty of updates and photos so they can feel comfortable while they’re away. About: Hi! My name is Elisheba, along with being a mother to 3 kids, I am also a lover of all things furry and cute. I have been caring for dogs my entire life and have owned American Bulldogs, Boerboels and Frienchies. I frequently dog sit for my friend's furry kids while they are away. About: I grew up in a home full of pets, ranging from dogs and cats to rodents and reptiles, which only encouraged my love for animals. Over the last decade, that interest has lead me to pursue multiple paths in the pet care field. I have learned how to care for many types of animals, how to provide a safe and stress-free environment for pets, and how to keep an open line of communication with pet parents. The greatest takeaway, however, has been building a better understanding of animal behavior and how to interact with everyone at their own pace! At the moment, I am available for two drop-in visits per day, Monday through Sunday, providing loving attention, playtime, feedings, and medication as needed. Your pet's routine and comfort are my priorities! That leads me to focus on leash safety, home safety and security, and food/medication schedules. Regular communication is important to me, as it is the best way to ensure all needs are met.

We didn't have a chance to meet before hand as it was a last minute request but I was able to leave a key and instructions. She was great with our dog, filled his food and water, let him out, took him for a little walk, and even sent us a photo/updates. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for about 10 years, mostly my own (now senior) dogs. I also had a dog who was special needs (partially blind and deaf), and unfortunately passed 3 years ago. I am always open to taking care of your pets! I’m normally the most free every day but Wednesday and do not mind spending the night with your pets! I cannot currently house pets in my own home, but I’m always free to stay at your home! I drive, so only staying for a few hours at a time is also okay. Since I have senior dogs, they often “forget” they went outside, so frequent potty breaks (including in the night) is a must. I also give my dogs medication, so if your pup needs oral medication, I am 100% okay with that.
About: I’m a big animal lover and have had pets in my life for as long as I can remember. My first job in high school was working at Best Friends Pet Care, where I cared for both dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments throughout my entire high school career. That experience taught me how to safely handle, feed, exercise, and care for many different types of pets. While I was in college, I continued gaining experience by working at Red Dog Pet Resort during school breaks when I came home. In addition to that, I now do pet sitting on the side and have cared for up to nine animals at once (five dogs and four cats), all with unique personalities and needs. During the week, I’m typically available for evening visits and walks, and from Friday through Sunday I’m off, which allows me to be much more flexible and available for daytime visits, walks, and check-ins. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my main goal is to keep them relaxed, safe, and content in the place they know best. I do my best to stick closely to your pet’s normal routine—whether that includes meals at certain times, walks, playtime, or simply quiet companionship. I also ensure water bowls are kept fresh, litter boxes or potty areas stay clean, and your pet receives plenty of care and attention while you’re away.

Maggie is a lovely person! She obviously loves cats and was very sweet to my kitty. She also came over for a meet and greet before I went out of town where we could work through some of the kinks to get into my apartment, send videos when she got there, and let me know everything went okay. I would very much recommend her for any catsitting!
I’m really glad Anissa was available to watch my cats the following week. Doing two back-to-back trips was stressful, but I knew I was in good hands. We were able to work out some minor kinks in their care, and it made for a smoother visiting time! She was so good with Azula, and I got plenty of pictures (pictures of Mitski were occasionally included, as long as she was behind the washing machine). :)
Sarah took great care of our very shy Charley! He hid from her for the first few visits but they became huge playtime pals on visit #3 and thereafter. In addition to Charley’s fun and games, Sarah watered indoor and outdoor plants, filled our bird feeders and kept a close eye on our home. I just hope we can get Sarah again the next time we travel!

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
