“Michelle was great with Bailey. Michelle sent pictures and videos of Bailey having fun and plenty of interaction with her and her family. I was worried that Bailey may not want to come home. But she did and I was glad we found Michelle. Thx”

“We usually board our dogs at a kennel, but our current dog has kennel stress and that was not an option for us this time. A friend suggested the Rover app to find somebody who would watch our dog in their home. This led us to Sara. We can not say enough good things about Sara. She was awesome to work with, very personable, and always responded to our texts in a timely fashion. But more importantly, our dog loved it at her home. She sent us daily videos and photos of our dog playing and having fun with the other dogs being boarded. It was very reassuring to get these daily photos and know our dog was well cared for and enjoying herself. Sara has a large fenced area for the dogs to run in, but she also welcomes them into her home and on her furniture (sign of a true dog lover!). Sara was also very accommodating when our dog needed a special diet for a few days. This was such a positive experience all around. We will never take our dog to a kennel again. Thank you Sara- you are the best!”

“We have used Nick and Diane’s dog sitting services for years, so no surprise that they rate 5 stars! Our Corgis get homesick but the daily texts reassure us that they are comfortable and have constant, caring company. Their home is cozy and secure.”

“I found Sharon through a recommendation from a friend who also has a small dog; we were looking for boarding for our two Shih-Tzus for ten days while we traveled in Europe, and didn't want to leave them in a traditional boarding/kennel facility for that long. I couldn't be happier with my pups' experience! Sharon and Albert were kind enough to do a meet-and-greet with us before we left, and made me feel very comfortable that they would be well-taken care of during their stay. I loved their yard space (completely enclosed front, and different enclosed back sections), and was so happy to hear they only take small dogs. They are both super friendly and really care about the pups' experience/comfort! While we were traveling, we received a ton of updates and pictures, and it was so nice to not have to worry that the pups were stuck in a kennel all day/overnight and instead were with people in a comfortable home with lots of attention. I just picked them up and they are wiped out from their fun visit!”

“Jenn and her family provided great care for my GSP. He returned smiling and ecstatic! Jenn is very experienced with dogs and has her space is well thought out to accommodate different dogs.”

“Michelle and dave are great pet sitters. Franklin had a fabulous time for two weeks in their care. They are very sweet people who took a true interest in our dog and sent me several pictures along the way. They have a great big yard and three friendly little dogs that Franklin had a lot of fun with. We highly recommend them.”

“Melissa and her family and pets were wonderful and took excellent care of my dog when I had to go out of town. She is easy to communicate with and sends regular updates which is appreciated. I can highly recommend her.”

“Shelly is amazing! She has room for the dogs to roam and be dogs that is fenced and safe. She sent pictures. And I felt so comfortable knowing Luna is being loved on the whole time. I’d recommend her every time. And will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Alicia was great, she kept us up to date the whole time. Maxine seem to do very well there. Hopefully Maxine will have the pleasure of staying again in the future. Thanks!!”

“Noah was great! Both my hyperactive puppy and more staid golden retriever appeared happy in the many photos he sent, and when I picked them up. They seemed to get a lot of attention, and Noah seems nice, caring and unflappable.”

About: We've had Golden Retrievers since 2005 and LOVE Goldens. We currently have three Goldens - Red (age 6), Max (age 5), and Riley (age 3). We often dog sit for our family and friends that have Goldens and I love it so much, I decided to start a Rover account to do it for others that have Golden family members and need a fun, reliable place for them to go when they travel or need boarding. I'm a self-employed educational psychologist with a flexible schedule. I often work from home and am off over the summer and during school holiday breaks. We have three Golden Retrievers (ages 3, 5,and 6) who get a lot of activity. We have a huge fenced back yard, and a fenced front yard, and play fetch every day out back with the ball thrower. We also go on walks around the neighborhood. We have a doggy door, and the dogs go in and out at their leisure. Our dogs are a major part of our family. They're always with us. They sleep in my bed. Your golden(s) can sleep in my bed or room, too, or in a crate if that's what they're used to. We also have two kids (age 11 and 8), so your dog must be good with kids, as well as with other dogs.

She loves long walk with dogs, and is a great cat snuggler--, even enticing the most un-trusting of my 3 cats to sit on her lap for a good head scratching. She has administered dog meds, is very punctual, and has tons of experience. She is my go-to pet sitter and I can't recommend her enough!”

Over 4 pet parents in Diamond Springs have booked dog boarding
Diamond Springs dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sara's is the perfect place for our dog, Maggie. There's lots of open space and fresh air, a lovely pond and a great covered patio where she can be outdoors and supervised. We previously had experience with a dog sitter who took in a large number of dogs at the same time as Maggie, and Maggie reacted negatively to that situation. We sincerely appreciate the fact that Sara is willing to limit Maggie's visit to just Maggie and Sara's own sweet dog. Maggie gets lots of walks, lots of love and attention, and comes home happy. We will continue to use Sara as our go-to, favorite dog sitter!
