“Where do I start? Sara went far above and beyond on multiple levels! I needed very last-minute boarding care over the holidays for my big, rambunctious Doberman mix and amazingly, Sara was available. Our meet and greet made me feel so confident about leaving my guy with her, and her frequent updates and photos throughout my trip just added to my confidence that he was in great hands with her. Additionally, Sara was very proactive and communicative when my pup had an off day - she gave me a thorough explanation of his symptoms and was very deferential to how I wanted to proceed. Thankfully it ended up being a non-issue, but I really appreciated her attentiveness. Lastly, when my return travel plans went comically awry, Sara didn’t bat an eye at keeping my guy for a whole extra day. Her flexibility and positivity made my bad travel day so much lighter. During a stressful trip, it was a huge gift to know that my pup was getting such good care - it’s clear that Sara is great with all animals and loves them like her own. Lucille, however, was a little stressed as she is not used to being around other dogs so she went and found a hiding place. “We came into town from the Bay Area and wanted to do some whitewater rafting that wouldn’t allow dogs. Sara was kind of enough to watch our 12 pound shih tzu. Sara asked for his vaccinations records to make sure no dog would get sick, which was very reassuring to us. We felt very comfortable leaving him there and believe he had a lot of fun at her place playing with the other dogs. Sara checked in multiple times with updates and pictures and was very accommodating when we asked to pick him up an hour later than originally discussed. If we come to the area again and need a dog sitter, we won’t hesitate to reach out to Sara. We highly recommend her!”
“Michelle was great with my dog Oakley! I was so thankful she was able to take him on short notice and accommodate whatever we needed... Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”
About: I have loved animals my whole life and have had many pets; dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, sheep and more. I thoroughly enjoy being with animals, loving and caring for them. Some of my first jobs were at animal clinics, where I learned a lot about caring for animals. I was in FFA as a youth, where I raised and showed sheep, and where I also learned a lot. About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. Plus, I’m attending school online from the comfort of my home. I live on 1 1/2 acres with a mini horse, two small goats that like to visit the neighbors and two potbelly pigs. Additionally I have two older French bulldogs who are house trained and very friendly, as well as two cane corsos who get along well with all animals including pony,goats, and pigs- they’re all pals! All of my animals are well-behaved , and I’ve often been told I should’ve been a vet or a dog trainer because of my love for animals. I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed.My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. I’ve set up set up my garage to be cozy and welcoming for dogs to stay in at night.

We love to exercise outside and go out often to romp. I am currently working remote part of the time (office days are Tues/Thurs). We do not have a fenced yard, so our preference would be dogs that are not a flight risk! We can use a flexi leash for potty breaks but that would limit outside play for our guests. We live on 2.5 acres with a lot of grass to romp and play. Our dogs do not go outside unless supervised.

About: I have had animals since I was a young girl and was always responsible for caring for them in any way the family needed. I helped watch friends animals as well. I currently have animals of my own that I adore as much as my adult children :). They bring love and light into our home. I am a part time dental hygienist as well as an undergraduate student studying Criminal Justice/ Forensics with plenty of flexibility. I am home full time doing school so my availability is open. I only pick up dental hygiene shifts as needed as I have been in the dental field 32 years. We have a a nice chunk of land with a fence and one dog to play with your furbaby her name is Shadow and she is so sweet and old, but still has energy for fun. We have a pond to wade in as well which is Shadows favorite thing to do. We are always keeping an eye on all of our animals and make sure they are safe and always have what they need. We also have 4 indoor kitties but they usually hide when company is around.
About: Have had a wide variety of animals my whole life! From goats, cats, dogs to even a snake once- you name it. I love them all. I have an Anatolian shepherd & a Siamese cat that are my best friends. I will treat your pets with the same love and respect as I do my own! About: People have loved my dog and other pet care for years. They know if their pets get very excited upon seeing me there is a reason. I am energetic and adjust to every pet’s activity, while being cooperative and sensitive to any health issues. The health and safety of every pet is of utmost importance to me as well as their environment. I take every precaution to protect pets from harm including potential harm from other animals. Owners know I will follow their desires and instructions to the letter to make sure their animal is always treated with the same love and attention under my care. Whether it is a 30 minute walk or an extended house and dog care weekend or vacation your pet will enjoy all of their time with my services. My rates and availability are negotiable based on each customer’s situation. Unless otherwise agreed upon my normal rates for stays within 15 miles of Diamond Springs are: $40 for 1-3 pets per night for up to a 12 hour stay (for example from 7pm on a Friday to 7am Saturday morning) $50 for 1-3 pets for 12-18 hr overnight stay $60 for 1-3 pets for an 18-24 hour overnight stay Longer distances may affect rates. We can discuss your needs at a free Meet & Greet session or feel free to contact me for a quote or other information. I manage my own schedule and my priority is spending as much time as possible pet sitting and caring for animals. I think the more the merrier which is why I include up to 3 pets in my standard rates. Each pet is given their fair share of my attention and care. I think all pets deserve as much diversity and entertainment as is recommended for their breed or type so I strive to create safe activities and an environment that keeps them stimulated and happy.

I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed.My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. I had my English Springer Spaniel, Beau, for 13 years and just recently adopted a Bearded Collie/Golden Lab mix puppy. I also have my two 6 year cats, Rupert and Carl. I am the manager of a winery but have a pretty flexible schedule-especially in the evenings. I'm off work on Mondays and Fridays and am able to leave work early, if necessary.
