About: My life is best when it's full of furry friends! I've grown up with a dog, and even when I came to college I quickly found families with dogs to hang out with being away from home! I've been trusted to dog sit, walk and take care of a variety of dogs of different sizes/needs throughout college, and I would love to do it more. I also have experience giving dogs medication/helping them swallow pills. Possibly like your dog, I love long walks, being outside and end-of-day cuddles! I am a current Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Hawaii Pacific University. I moved in August from Raleigh, North Carolina. I only go for in person lab about every 2 months which I am marking off my calendar, and on zoom working hard the rest of the time! That being said, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to stay with/check in on your pet frequently. Long walks with the company of a furry friend would really be an awesome way to take a break! I have always been an early riser and am prepared to get up early to attend to responsibilities with a dog! I usually get up at 6 or before no matter what the day entails, so I will not keep your dog waiting for breakfast, a walk and a potty break! Also I would like to include that my photo send percentage is low on Rover, because people usually prefer me texting them updates instead of sending them through the app- I can do whichever! I am very active and frequently go on long walks and can go out on adventures if your furry friend would like to join me! I would love to follow your routine schedule with the dog as well, and my schedule gives me the flexibility to do so!

“Scott was so great with Kona and flexible with my schedule changes. He was patient, understanding, attentive, and informative of Kona’s time. He shared lots of pics, which made me feel at ease leaving Kona in his care. And he worked on some basic training with her. Scott and his family took such excellent care of her, couldn’t have asked for better.”

About: There’s a special kind of peace that comes from being around animals—and it’s something I’ve cherished my whole life. Growing up with dogs taught me how to be patient, responsible, and tuned in to their needs. I care for every pet with quiet attentiveness and real compassion, whether it’s a playful pup or a senior who needs extra support. I take the time to earn their trust, keep them safe, and make sure they feel calm, loved, and at home—even while you’re away. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because I’ve always been around animals and enjoy spending time with them. Whether it’s going on walks, playtime, or making sure they feel safe and cared for, I’m used to including these tasks in my day. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable and consistent attention for pets throughout the week. In a client’s home, I follow their specific routines and instructions to help pets feel secure and comfortable. I make sure they have fresh water, proper feeding, playtime, and safe walks, while keeping their environment clean and stress-free. If I care for pets in my own home, I create a calm, safe space with plenty of attention, affection, and supervision, treating them like part of my family.

About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs for over 5 years and truly enjoy giving them love and attention when their people are away. I’m dependable, gentle, and always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’m here to help your pet feel at home. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine—I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m available for drop-ins, walks, or extended visits throughout the week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and I love having pet care as part of my daily rhythm. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their usual routines—whether that’s feeding schedules, playtime, or favorite nap spots. I respect your space, leave things tidy, and make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, cozy environment with lots of attention and affection so they feel right at home.

About: Hi, My name is Rhona. I'm self-employed, have a flexible schedule and I LOVE animals! Our family had a cat, German Shepherds and Shetland Sheepdogs in my younger years and I started caring for and walking my neighbor’s pets in my early teens. In college I worked for a pet-sitting service caring for various animals including dogs, cats, birds and fish (one of my all-time favorite jobs!) and as a young working adult, I volunteered for the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue (DVGRR). During this time I adopted my first dog and cared for him for 10+ years until it was his time to cross Rainbow Bridge. Soon thereafter, my husband and I adopted two cats and another dog. We love our animals and will offer the same love for your furry, feathered or scaly family members! I have experience with senior cats & dogs, giving medication & injections. I am available for walks, home visits and overnight or extended home based pet care. Your pet will be my main priority during our visits together. I make every effort to help your pet feel comfortable during prolonged care in your home. I’ll focus on maintaining the same routine you have with your pet to help reduce their stress or anxiety while they are separated from you. This can be very comforting to them. My extensive experience matches my love of animals.

“Suzie did a great job taking care of my puppers, and she sent me some great pictures throughout the day! I will definitely book with Suzie again!”

About: I have taken care of pets for friends and family and friends of friends. Just like when I teach in schools, I provide a safe and welcoming space. I have experience walking, hiking, feeding, giving baths, giving medicine, and teaching new tricks to dogs. I have cared for cats as well. In my adult years I've had three dogs of my own and two cats. I have used Rover before for my dog, and now would love to provide great service for other peoples' dogs and cats, like how Rover sitters did for my dog. I value communication and look forward to sending my clients photos frequently of all the fun their pet is having when being taken care of by me. I have a baby, so I am home a lot. My schedule is very flexible. I can provide lots of love, playtime, and walks for your pet. If your pet stays with me, your pet will receive frequent walks as exercise is important to me for the pet's health and my own. Lots of love, treats, and cuddles to give here!

“Family is awesome, they were able to take in our dog on short notice. Our girl Tilly came home tired, she was able to get all her energy out. We appreciate you guys!”

“Charisse was so kind and loving with my young golden retriever, taking excellent care of him during his first visit with her when he was feeling a bit anxious that I left him. She also gave me some wonderful, professional tips about how to care for his long fur and possibly training him to be a service dog. I needed the time to get some errands done, being a single mum and caregiver to a child with a chronic illness. Thank you so much for your amazing help, Charisse! :)”

About: I’ve been a pet owner and dog/cat lover for 20+ years. I’m ready to provide your pets with the best attention, care, and socialization. I’m experienced in caring for younger puppies all the way through senior dogs needing special attention in addition to cats/kittens. My dog Charlie is a 4 year old Australian Shepard who loves to make new friends! He is very social and friendly with pets of all sizes… small and large and can’t wait to meet your pets. He is well trained and a great calming presence. As a grad student my schedule is quite flexible and I spend a good majority of time at home studying or attending class online. My work schedule is also flexible with shorter 4-5 hour shifts. I have a 1 bedroom apartment with a 4 year old Australian Shepard who loves to make new friends. We have several walking paths and a dog park within 10 mins walk.
