After high school I spent 6 months in grooming school, I then got a job at a salon and worked there as a groomer for 3 years. I have now started my own mobile grooming business. About: Hi! I’m Megan, and I’ve spent years working hands-on with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have a strong background in pet care, including working as a dog trainer for both group classes and private clients, as well as experience in dog daycare, boarding, and veterinary settings. I’ve cared for dogs in many environments and I’m comfortable handling everything from basic care to more behavior-focused needs. I have experience reading dog body language and helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and understood. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve been extensively involved in rescue work as a foster home and running a shelter behavior group of volunteers so I’m especially patient with reactive, anxious, or higher-needs dogs. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and tailoring care to what works best for them. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight care, you can count on me to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care—just like I would for my own. I’m currently a stay at home mom and so I am able to be flexible in most cases. Evenings and weekends will be my most available times! I have two dogs of my own who are very used to new animals coming and going. I don’t have a fenced backyard, but do have tie outs or can leash walk any pets at my home. Every animal has different needs, so I will do my best to figure out what sleeping arrangements make them the most comfortable during their stay (I have kennels of every size so people do not need to bring theirs back and forth unless they prefer to). I’m well versed in methods of calming for pets that might be nervous. I do have a 6 month old infant at home who is very used to dogs, but any pets coming in to my home would need to be safe and comfortable around her.

About: I’ve had various of animals my whole life. I’ve had animals of all scales, from cows & horses, to lizards & ferrets. As well as training various of dogs from all different breeds, I understand your “scary” dog, as well as your sweet little lap dog! Between my previous employment at a boarding facility and my current employment at the animal shelter, i’ve worked and handled many different personality’s and breeds of dogs and cats. Hey! I have a full time job at an animal boarding facility, but I typically only work 4 days a week and it’s usually morning shifts. I’m willing to get up a little earlier or stay up a little later to give your pet some attention. Shoot me a message and I can let you know my hours and we can see if I would be a good fit! I unfortunately can’t have fur babies come to my house, but i’m more than happy to come to you! I will keep your dogs on leash if you don’t have a fenced backyard, unless informed otherwise. I will also bring your pups on walks, I will keep them on leash, and use an extra leash if needed.

About: I have a bit more varied experience than some. When I was young, we had a veritable zoo, and I haven't stopped having animals since. I've never not had a dog and was made responsible for over 30 miniature horses whenever their owner needed it. I also have experience with ferrets, cats, parakeets, parrots, and lizards. I will say if you need to look after something more exotic (and demanding) we would need to talk first. My dog is also quite old and has a lot of health problems, so I am familiar with handling these. I work Mondays from 12-7 and Tuesdays through Thursday I work 10-4. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I have mostly open availability with the exception that I occasionally have work events. Each animal is different, and so I would strive to find that balance with your dog. Every dog plays a bit different or might need their food handled differently. While I can't take animals into my home at the present, I will strive to be as careful with meeting their needs as I do my own pup at home.

About: Hi! I grew up in a family that always had a house full of pets, so caring for animals became a natural part of my life from a young age. I now have two cats of my own and have been pet sitting for others since I was 16. I have extensive experience with both house sitting and pet sitting, and I always make sure your home is left clean and your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I know it can be stressful for pets when their family is away, so I make it a priority to give them plenty of attention, affection, and love while you’re gone. About: My dogs have always been very high needs growing up, so I have a lot of experience working with different diets, medications, and needs. I'm an athlete, so I can take them out for long periods of time to get exercise as needed, which can be really helpful for hyperactive dogs who have to be cooped up during the day. I'm also entirely capable of caring for senior dogs, I can take things at their pace and make sure they're comfortable and happy. I am currently a full time college student, but I have a lot of open time either between classes or after them. I commute to the Twin Cities from the suburbs, so I can easily travel wherever I am needed to be able to check in on or take care of your furry friends. Being in the cities with my own car I can take dogs out for walks around the lakes or down some of the trails nearby so they (and I) can get some proper exercise before my classes. When caring for pets, I always make sure they are getting plenty of time to move around, especially if I'm just dropping in to check on them, but regardless of the need. I like to keep a checklist of what I need to get done, as well as just having a bit of time to play with or pet them. I can take pets out for walks on foot or with my roller skates, which lets me go longer distances with them. I make sure to clean up any messes I might make, putting everything back as I found it and keeping things nice and tidy for when you get home again. I'm confident staying in new places, and can make sure everything stays safe in your home or space during my time there.

About: I have had pets all while growing up. I have had two bigger dogs and I have a cat at my parents house. I have help neighbors watch and walk there dogs when they are gone. I am currently working part time which allows me to have a lot of flexibility. This allows me to have more time to care for animals. I make sure to walk or play with them regularly! Always keeping an eye on them so make sure they’re safe and behaving. I also want them to be comfortable with me so making sure I introduce my self in mine or there home correctly.

About: I’ve had an affinity towards the natural world especially animals. One of my mentors who is a wildlife educator and animal handler of over 30 years always tells me, “Mo, no matter what animal I put in front of you, they all want to play with you!” I am a certified vet tech assistant through the Florida veterinary medical association as of July 2011. I love working with animals, it’s my Ikigai! I work in sustainable real estate and start my day caring for my animals that I have rescued and am fostering. I have flexibility throughout my day between meetings and events to take care and hang out with your animals and give them some love. I understand behavior and will take safety precautions when walking and caring for the many animals I am entrusted to care for as they were my own.

About: I am a 37 year old army veteran, and I have been more passionate about animals than I am about humans for as long as I can remember! I’ve befriended many animals in my life. I have done more extended-stay house/animal sitting adventures than I can count! I also tend to be a fan favorite of my various family and friends animals. Sometimes they try to follow me home! Lol I am currently available, so I’ll have plenty of time to both entertain and be entertained by your pets! I have loads of experience with cats and dogs and a little bit of experience with lizards and tortoises! All pet types are welcome though! I am willing to learn and am a quick study. I find that good communication and following instructions is the best course to achieve excellent results. About: I've been taking care of people's cats and dogs alike ever since I was a teenager around the Edina neighborhood. I moved to Woodbury around 2019 where I adopted a cat. I grew up with dogs but I've wanted a cat too so now I'd say I'm proficient with both cats and dogs. I work part-time. I have flexible schedule on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.so I'm pretty much available all day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I'm available to stay overnight if that is a need for the pet. I always make sure to establish trust between myself and the pet and the pet parent. I also understand animals need time to adjust to new people and every animal is different. Some also need more space to adjust and I'm that person that will give the time and space the animal needs.
