About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and they have always been a big part of my family. I currently have a sweet Yorkie Poo and a gentle Newfoundland, and I truly believe every dog has their own personality, needs, and little quirks that make them special. I have over 5 years of professional dog grooming experience, which has taught me so much about dog behavior, body language, handling, and how to make dogs feel comfortable and safe. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors in all sizes. I also have experience with dogs who need extra patience and care, including dogs recovering from procedures and blind dogs. Besides walks, daycare, and boarding, I can also offer basic maintenance care, such as brushing, baths, nail trimming and grinding, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing, feet - paw and face trimming. I love going on long walks (usually two one-hour walks a day with my own dogs), and I’d love to give your pup the same attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. My goal is for your dog to feel comfortable, loved, and cared for like they’re part of the family. Our day includes two long walks, usually around 8:30 AM and 5 PM to avoid peak heat. We enjoy walks, park visits, playtime, cuddles and enrichment activities throughout the day. I provide a safe, calm home environment with supervision throughout the day. I’m home most of the time, offer structured walks and playtime, and have crates available if dogs need quiet time or separation. While I don’t have a fenced yard, dogs receive plenty of outdoor exercise through secure walks and nearby park visits. I also have experience handling different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities.

About: Dogs are lovable and a helping career is fulfilling. By helping humans with their canines I get the best of both worlds! Dogs have always been apart of my life, and recently we had our own 13yo mutt who came as a puppy, had a long full life, and passed away in my husband’s arms. Before that we had another mutt that lived to be 16yo, but she was a pound puppy we got at about 2yo. Also, our dog-niece lived with us for January 2024 while her parents vacationed. I love to love-on peoples’ dogs. Let's chat soon. I’ll be at your home when you need me to care for your feline furbaby. Most cats in my care have been drop-ins, including feeding, watering, and cat box cleaning. Cats with dog siblings have been an occasional treat to care for, as well. About: My home with fenced in backyard is located on the Dakota Trail by Crystal Bay, Lake Mntka. I'm home full time and guarantee two 30-40 minute walks a day (if your pup is up for it, if not I will accommodate). I have been a dog lover my entire life! I have many years of experience from taking care of my own furbaby (Pug named Bagels!) to caring for others cherished pups. Your dog will love staying in my home! We spend time playing, relaxing & snuggling. Your dog will have an amazing stay with lots of love and care and is welcome all over my home. Your pup will enjoy my fenced in backyard and outdoor patio so when the weather is nice your pup can lounge in the sun. Your pup will always be on a leash when on walks and watched very closely. I generally board one dog at a time so that I can offer high quality care. Your pup will be spoiled with loving attention! Be prepared for lots of photos of your dog relaxing in my cozy home or getting fresh air on the trail! I look forward to meeting you and your furbaby. I enjoy caring for pups very much however I do require the following: Dogs must be current on shots, heartworm & flea & tick treatments. I generally care for one dog at a time but make exceptions for families with multiple dogs. I don't watch dogs with any history of aggression. Only house trained pups please. I’m home full-time so I’m flexible with my hours. Drop off and Pick up can be arranged to fit your schedule. No problem when changes occur with your travel at last minute. I do not require a cancellation or change fee because LIFE happens! Safety is one of my top priorities. I have a fenced in backyard and a very friendly Pug for your dog to play with. Your dog will always be leashed when walking on the Dakota trail.

About: I’ve had dogs of my own over the years and have raised them from puppies, so I’m very familiar with all stages of a dog’s life from training and high-energy puppy behavior to the needs of adult and senior dogs. I’ve also personally fostered two daschund dogs for several years while a friend went through a difficult transition, caring for them full-time until she was able to find pet-friendly housing. That experience really deepened my understanding of long-term, committed pet care. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds from larger dogs like Boxers to small breeds like Boston Terriers, Dachshunds, and Yorkies. I truly love them all and adjust my care based on each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just companionship, I focus on making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine since I work from home Monday–Friday, which gives me flexibility for walks, feedings, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. My availability is open, and I’m also available most weekends. At my home, I provide a safe, family-friendly environment where pets are cared for like part of the family. I have a 10-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy, so I always ensure interactions are supervised and safe for both the pets and children. I follow each pet’s normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while staying in my home.

About: Dogs have been my passion since my earliest memories. When I was a young girl, I was always training my family and friends dogs. I also would take care of my friends dogs when needed. I started to get involved with dog sports around the age of 12. In addition to this, I trained my dog to be a therapy dog. When I was 16 I started to volunteer at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley for a few years before going to college. I graduated from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a degree in Communications and a minor in Leadership. Along the way, I took many classes to learn more about animal behavior and psychology. However, once I graduated, I was at a loss of what to pursue. It was during this time when I stumbled into working for Invisible Fence as a dog trainer. I found my true passion of training dogs through this. I have spent countless hours learning through hands on experience, shadowing other trainers, signing up for seminars/conferences and taking courses through a Pet Professional Program. In addition to this, I read countless books, listened to professional dog trainer podcasts, and watched videos. Now I run my own dog training business called Tator's Training. Pet care is about the well-being of the animal as a whole... starting with nutrition, enrichment, mental stimulation and being active. I have 3 dogs of my own that I work with every day. I target each category (nutrition, enrichment, mental stimulation, physical activity) to make sure their needs are met. I work with dogs daily and have a flexible schedule throughout the week. Every dog is treated like my own. I would never put an animal in a situation that isn't environmentally safe for them or puts them at risk. Safety involves having a safe place, being aware of what a dog is trying to tell you, having water available, following the established nutrition routine, allowing play, freedom (within reason), and providing daily enrichment.
