About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and they have always been a big part of my family. I currently have a sweet Yorkie Poo and a gentle Newfoundland, and I truly believe every dog has their own personality, needs, and little quirks that make them special. I have over 5 years of professional dog grooming experience, which has taught me so much about dog behavior, body language, handling, and how to make dogs feel comfortable and safe. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors in all sizes. I also have experience with dogs who need extra patience and care, including dogs recovering from procedures and blind dogs. Besides walks, daycare, and boarding, I can also offer basic maintenance care, such as brushing, baths, nail trimming and grinding, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing, feet - paw and face trimming. I love going on long walks (usually two one-hour walks a day with my own dogs), and I’d love to give your pup the same attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. My goal is for your dog to feel comfortable, loved, and cared for like they’re part of the family. Our day includes two long walks, usually around 8:30 AM and 5 PM to avoid peak heat. We enjoy walks, park visits, playtime, cuddles and enrichment activities throughout the day. I provide a safe, calm home environment with supervision throughout the day. I’m home most of the time, offer structured walks and playtime, and have crates available if dogs need quiet time or separation. While I don’t have a fenced yard, dogs receive plenty of outdoor exercise through secure walks and nearby park visits. I also have experience handling different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid and have worked at a dog boarding kennel. Our family has a 2 year old golden retriever and we’re hoping for her to make some furry friends and get energy out! My husband and I work from home, someone will be home with your dog all of the time. We enjoy family walks and love being outdoors with our pets. About: Dogs are my favorite thing about life, and I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by them. I started doing Rover as a way to honor my late dog Brody. I wished I had someone that I trusted to care for him when I was away - so I want to give that to other people/pets. With us, your dog will get so much attention and activity if they want it. About: I've been caring for others pets since I was 10yo. Prissy & Ginger (a Boston Terrier & a Pug) were my first loves as I would walk my neighbors dogs for companionship when I could not have my own. As an adult, I still pet-sit for friends and family, most frequently a 5yo Tamaskan when his owner travels. I was a part-time vet-tech in college and work in a (human) clinic as an adult, so I understand special needs, different medications, and the roll of compassion for all conditions. I work out of the home all week, so can accomodate unique schedule needs. My home has different areas that a pet can be isolated from others, if needed. One of the things I hear most often in feedback is that pet owners love that I'm home all day for their dog that might have separation anxiety. And yes, I'm right there working from my desk in the middle of the home and only accept one or two pets at a time. I also have a large (unfenced) yard for endless roaming and sniffing, and a 2nd story deck overlooking my back acre for fun and safe wildlife viewing for leisurely sunny afternoons. I'm around the house most times while I work out of the home. Unique schedules can be easily managed, and special dietary or medical needs tended to. When I have appointments, dogs are welcome to come along if they love car rides - I have a special back compartment in my SUV with windows on 3 sides to catch all the action. In boarding other peoples pets, I do my best to keep their usual routine to maximize their comfort and minimize stress while mom/dad are away. I have several spaces that can be closed off for isolation if needed for care, sleeping or feeding separately, or they can have the whole house to roam, if that is their preference. My resident cat lives in my office when we have guests, since he's not the social type. And I have a maximum of two additional visitors at a time for utmost attention and greatest freedom. We can explore the yard and spend a little time walking, chewing, pulling, and fetching - bring your own favorite toys if you like, we'll play with those! If limiting roaming space (mischief space?) is ideal, I have a baby gate - we can segregate off the lower level, upper level, kitchen, laundry room, any of 3 bedrooms only or whatever configuration works best. And, since this is a question I get frequently - there is NO people food allowed when visiting. Only foods and treats provided by owner will be allowed.
