You can book up to three drop-ins per day! Every pet is different, so I’m always happy to accommodate extra needs or customize visits to fit your pet’s routine. My availability is flexible, feel free to reach out with your preferred dates and times! • I always offer a (free) 10-minute meet-and-greet before any drop-in or walking service. About: Hi! I’m Megan, and I’ve spent years working hands-on with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have a strong background in pet care, including working as a dog trainer for both group classes and private clients, as well as experience in dog daycare, boarding, and veterinary settings. I’ve cared for dogs in many environments and I’m comfortable handling everything from basic care to more behavior-focused needs. I have experience reading dog body language and helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and understood. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve been extensively involved in rescue work as a foster home and running a shelter behavior group of volunteers so I’m especially patient with reactive, anxious, or higher-needs dogs. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and tailoring care to what works best for them. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight care, you can count on me to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care—just like I would for my own. I’m currently a stay at home mom and so I am able to be flexible in most cases. Evenings and weekends will be my most available times! I have two dogs of my own who are very used to new animals coming and going. I don’t have a fenced backyard, but do have tie outs or can leash walk any pets at my home. Every animal has different needs, so I will do my best to figure out what sleeping arrangements make them the most comfortable during their stay (I have kennels of every size so people do not need to bring theirs back and forth unless they prefer to). I’m well versed in methods of calming for pets that might be nervous. I do have a 6 month old infant at home who is very used to dogs, but any pets coming in to my home would need to be safe and comfortable around her.

We also have a 7 year old mini goldendoodle who we've trained and raised since he was a puppy so I'm pretty accustomed to being around animals. About: I’ve had various of animals my whole life. I’ve had animals of all scales, from cows & horses, to lizards & ferrets. As well as training various of dogs from all different breeds, I understand your “scary” dog, as well as your sweet little lap dog! Between my previous employment at a boarding facility and my current employment at the animal shelter, i’ve worked and handled many different personality’s and breeds of dogs and cats. Hey! I have a full time job at an animal boarding facility, but I typically only work 4 days a week and it’s usually morning shifts. I’m willing to get up a little earlier or stay up a little later to give your pet some attention. Shoot me a message and I can let you know my hours and we can see if I would be a good fit! I unfortunately can’t have fur babies come to my house, but i’m more than happy to come to you! I will keep your dogs on leash if you don’t have a fenced backyard, unless informed otherwise. My beagle had several health ailments throughout his life so I am comfortable with medications and special needs. I've had 3 dogs, mice, hamsters, and even a frog! I have a couple pets, a Sheprador which is a German Shepherd and Labrador mix named George, and a hamster named Baba. I feed my dog George twice a day making sure to let him outside right after, I regularly brush him because he just doesn't stop shedding, I wash him every other month so he doesn't get stinky, give him all of his medication for his allergies, and just giving him constant attention such as walks! Baba gets fed once a day with a healthy balance of veggies, fruits, seeds, and original food. I clean his cage every 1 to 2 weeks depending how it looks and/or if it stinks, and finally I regularly take him out of his cage to pet him and let him run around in his ball! George and Baba get along haha! Plus a new member being Chunk a little lab puppy!
