I am very comfortable with dogs and cats, including in my home, as we have a four-year old Frenchie, Odie, and two-year-old Boston Terrier, Marzipan. I am a work-from-home sports journalist who can leave the house, often at specific times, to meet your needs. I also have the flexibility to potentially stay at your home or be there during the day to interact with your animal, as I can work remotely as long as I have internet. I have been helping watch my friends' animals over the last 10-15 years, giving me plenty of experience to help with your animal and give them all the pets they want while I'm there! About: I have owned both cats and dogs in my life time, as well as pet sat for many friends and family over the years. I currently own a black American shorthair cat named Daisy :) I am a single mom who has my kids 50% of the time. When I have my kids, I cannot do overnights but I am open to dog walks, play dates, and feedings. When I do not have my kids I have more flexibility to be with your animal(s) for a longer period of time Given my townhome and the pet I own I currently cannot have animals stay with me. About: I was 9 years old when I first started staying home alone to watch my own pets. Soon after, friends, family, and neighbors started coming to me to look after their pets. While I'm not trained in anything, I have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages and sizes, and will love them no matter what. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve been extensively involved in rescue work as a foster home and running a shelter behavior group of volunteers so I’m especially patient with reactive, anxious, or higher-needs dogs. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and tailoring care to what works best for them. I’m currently a stay at home mom and so I am able to be flexible in most cases. Evenings and weekends will be my most available times! I have two dogs of my own who are very used to new animals coming and going. I don’t have a fenced backyard, but do have tie outs or can leash walk any pets at my home. Every animal has different needs, so I will do my best to figure out what sleeping arrangements make them the most comfortable during their stay (I have kennels of every size so people do not need to bring theirs back and forth unless they prefer to). I’m well versed in methods of calming for pets that might be nervous. I do have a 6 month old infant at home who is very used to dogs, but any pets coming in to my home would need to be safe and comfortable around her.

About: Hi everyone, My names Ellana! Im currently 20 years old and absolutely adore animals! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old and currently have a frenchie of my own back in MN! Being away from home can be tough at times but spending time with animals is really an escape for me. I love all dogs from big to small, I do have a little bias for all breeds of bulldogs though, they are my fav! I am currently looking into going into canine physical therapy as a full time role for my future:) I’d love to help out as needed so please send me a message! About: I recently lost my beagle of almost 15 years and I’m looking for some furry play time. I have had a dog my whole life and appreciate all types. My beagle had several health ailments throughout his life so I am comfortable with medications and special needs. I was so grateful for the dog sitters I had, I am looking to provide the same comfort and security to you and your dog while you’re away. I currently work full time throughout the week, 8-4pm but my routine and schedule are very flexible if I need to come home during the day. My home has a fenced yard for your dog to get plenty of exercise. I don’t have any other pets in the house on a regular basis.

About: I have had pets my whole life and cared for my own for the past 20 years. I've had all creatures small (hamster) to large (St. Bernard). I currently have 2 dogs, a hamster, and 4 chickens. My family and I have also fostered pups through a local rescue for the past 5 years. We have aided in puppy training to senior care through both personal pets and fostering. I also work at a vet clinic with regular interaction with all sorts of animals. Outside of all the experience, I love animals. I love playing, snuggling, training and treating all animals as if they are my own. I have 3 children who have also inherited my love of animals and love to interact with any pet that comes through our home. ❤️ Both adults in the home work. My hours are part time allowing more availability to spend with your pet. Our resident dogs have free roam of the house for up to 6 hrs unattended, but can be crated if need be. There is typically someone home until 10am each day and home by 3. Potty breaks and cuddles in the morning and then walks, and lots of cuddles in the afternoon and evening. 1 weekday and weekends there is someone home all day to give all the attention. Our resident and foster pups have a basic schedule of eating and morning, afternoon and evening potty breaks in our backyard. Dogs that are trained well on a leash, or new puppies that need training, will get 2-3 walks a day. We have cozy places for naps and all pets are allowed on furniture. Depending on the pet we are happy to let them free roam or crate, whatever the preference is of owner for times we are not home. Between the adults and kids in the home, your pet will get lots of cuddles and playing, treats and mind stimulation.

I have given medications and have done some training. I have done just overnight stays, but have also done 3month long stays. I am also a Hairstylist and Skin care specialist. I rent a chair at a salon and make my own schedule, so my hours are flexable. I enjoy spending time with pets, but just don't live in a place were I can have one. I am not married and have no children, so I am completely available and focused on your pet. I usually like to meet you and your pet/pets about 1week before the scheduled appointment, so I can get to know you, your pet and your pets routine, feeding times, walking, medications if needed, etc. This also helps the dog recognize me when I show up, when you aren't there.
