About: I have had both cats and dogs for as long as I can remember! I have had both through all stages of their lives, puppy/kitten - senior. I also have experience with administering medications. I am a college student who misses my own pets, and I would love to help care for yours so they do not get lonely! I am currently a college student and I do not have another job at the moment. This semester I am in class from 12pm-3pm M/W/F, and 8am-1:30pm on T/Th. Outside of that, I am a student leader so I have meetings on Monday’s from 3:30-5pm and events on some Friday's. However, I make sure to find time on my lunch breaks and before and after class to make sure pups can get outside and get a little love in between the times I have to be away. At my home, I have a fenced in yard for my dog, who is generally very well behaved, but I do not leave him unattended for long. He loves to wrestle and be brushed, so we do that often. He gets food once daily, per vet recommendations. In the past when I have had cats, they loved to cuddle and were pretty lazy. I cleaned out their litter box’s every 1-2 days, and they were grazers so I kept their food and water full daily.

About: I've had my 18+ year old cat since he was a kitten and have been around cats and kittens for most of my life. We also have a 7 year old mini goldendoodle who we've trained and raised since he was a puppy so I'm pretty accustomed to being around animals. I have a strong background in pet care, including working as a dog trainer for both group classes and private clients, as well as experience in dog daycare, boarding, and veterinary settings. I’ve cared for dogs in many environments and I’m comfortable handling everything from basic care to more behavior-focused needs. I have experience reading dog body language and helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and understood. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve been extensively involved in rescue work as a foster home and running a shelter behavior group of volunteers so I’m especially patient with reactive, anxious, or higher-needs dogs. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and tailoring care to what works best for them. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight care, you can count on me to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care—just like I would for my own. I’m currently a stay at home mom and so I am able to be flexible in most cases. Evenings and weekends will be my most available times! I have two dogs of my own who are very used to new animals coming and going. I don’t have a fenced backyard, but do have tie outs or can leash walk any pets at my home. Every animal has different needs, so I will do my best to figure out what sleeping arrangements make them the most comfortable during their stay (I have kennels of every size so people do not need to bring theirs back and forth unless they prefer to). I’m well versed in methods of calming for pets that might be nervous. I do have a 6 month old infant at home who is very used to dogs, but any pets coming in to my home would need to be safe and comfortable around her.
