She’s a well-trained, responsive, dog-friendly pup—if your dog enjoys playtime, mine will be thrilled. If your dog is older or more reserved, I have an open-concept/split level house that I gate off to provide different spaces for dogs to decompress or have their own, dedicated area while still being a part of the family. I live just off a bike path and walk or run daily with my collie. I’m happy to meet whatever cadence of walks your dog prefers. I also have a fenced off area where I offer potty breaks or I will walk them around our 1 acre property. Your dog won’t scare my cats—in fact, they may become friends. My two long-haired cats are incredibly mellow. In past dog-sitting experiences, they’ve remained totally unbothered by barking, sniffing, or attention-seeking dogs. They’re actually so mellow and I don’t know why, they’re just weird. When a new animal arrives, they’ll investigate, decide whether it’s worth their attention, and then go take a nap. ⸻ 🐱 Cats If I’m sitting for your cat, I will provide a private room in the house, complete with their own litter box and space to climb, lounge, and settle in. I don’t believe in forcing intermingling with my resident pets—I want your cat to feel safe and relaxed. I will check in regularly for play, attention, and cuddles on their terms. —Unique Family Members— 🐭 Rodents I’ve had six pet rats in my life and think they’re some of the most wonderful animals—smart, affectionate, and full of personality (I even broke a toe playing tag with one when I was little!) I’m happy to care for any small critter and always consider them part of the family. I also have experience with hamsters, gerbils, and guinea pigs. ⸻ 🦎 Reptiles Although I only have Rex right now (my 22-year-old ball python), I’ve also cared for a variety of lizards and feeder animals. From bearded dragons to leopard and crested geckos, I’m familiar with preparing collard green salads, dusting crickets, maintaining humidity and temperature, and ensuring overall habitat health. I’ve even ordered crickets in bulk—so I know they require care too! While Rex is currently fed frozen rodents, I’m also comfortable managing live prey animals if your reptile/s require them. As a full-time remote worker, I’m home throughout the day and can easily build pet care into my routine. I take regular breaks to go for walks, give attention, or check in on animals staying with us. My mornings and evenings are flexible, so I can match your pet’s normal schedule—whether that’s medication timing, playtime, or feeding routines. Animals are a natural part of our daily rhythm here, and I love incorporating their care into my day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, animals are never left unsupervised with each other until we know everyone is comfortable. New pets are introduced slowly and calmly, with plenty of space to decompress. Sometimes personalities don’t click, in which case we easily keep them apart so that everyone is happy. I follow your pet’s routines as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding times, medication, or exercise—and I’m always happy to check in with updates. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll treat your space with respect and follow any specific instructions you leave. I’ll keep your pet’s world feeling familiar and low-stress until you’re home again.

About: I've had a passion for pups since I was a kid! I'm pawsitive that your pet will be well cared for, stay safe, and enjoy our time together. :) I'm currently working part-time and have flexibility in my schedule during weekdays as well as weekends. I manage my time well, and I will be able to fit care for your pet into my schedule! I am willing to pet sit in the pet's home, but I am not comfortable bringing them to mine. Going on walks is one of my favorite forms of exercise, as it is great for both for humans and pets! As long as I am with the pet in the environment they are comfortable in (their home, favorite dog park, walking trail, etc) I'm sure we will get along great!

About: I have had dogs since I was about 4 years old and am well versed in caring for them. I regularly walk and care for a neighbor's rescue dog that started out with next to no training. Throughout our walks I implemented her training program and furthered her obedience. I am a dog lover at heart and am always excited to meet new pups! I will begin studying at Yale University this fall and am currently not working for the summer. I am available to care for your pets anytime during the months of June, July, and part of August. About: I’ve taken care of family pets (dogs and cats) throughout my childhood and early adulthood. Sadly, I currently don’t have space for pets of my own. So, I decided to become a pet caregiver on Rover. Currently, I don’t have any pets to care for in my weekly routine. About: I have worked with dogs and cats doing on 6 years now, and have had the opportunity to be around a ton of personalities and care for many different energy levels. In this, I also have experience crate, house, and yard training! Though I’m currently at college, I have quite a few breaks during the day in which I could check in on any pets and make sure they are happy, heathy, fed, and don’t need to use the restroom. I have all nights and most weekends free, and have flexible hours during most of the week. While it certainly depends on the personality and age of the pet, general care would include meeting the basic needs (food, water, bathroom breaks, and running/walking time) while also being ready and able to play, facilitate enrichment times, and cuddle especially clingy pets.
