“Kayden was fantastic! She was reliable, communicative, and took such great care of Jax while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was getting lots of love and attention, and she always made sure he was doing well. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kayden again. Highly recommend!”

“Lindsey and her girls did an amazing job taking care of our dog, Koda. They gave him lots of snuggles and love while we were gone. They even left us some cute artwork with a nice note. We will definitely book drop in visits with them again in the future”

“Desiree completed multiple drop-in visits (2x daily) during a week-long vacation for my two senior cats. Mr. Twix is diabetic and requires insulin injections twice a day. Desiree was happy to stop over ahead of the trip to go over insulin and daily routines. I asked for photo updates and Desiree was happy to share! She graciously cleaned one poo mess and even helped reset the fuse box when the cat fountain stopped working. Twix and Butters were calm and happy when I arrived home. I felt comfortable on my trip knowing the kids were getting love in my absence!”

“Emily was amazing with our our little dog. He is very apprehensive of people other than us, but Emily was kind and gentle and made sure he was well taken care of. We would definitely recommend her.”

“Kathy did a great job looking in on our cat for a week. We had a very nice meet-and-greet, and while we were away she sent multiple photos and gave informative reports for each visit. I would not hesitate to book her again.”

About: I strive to be reliable, attentive, and to genuinely love the animals I will care for. I was raised in a home with pets and have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, and I now own a cat of my own. As a recent college graduate in the kinesiology field, I understand the importance of exercise, routine, and overall well-being for all, not just humans ;). I have experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities, and I am committed to providing a safe, loving environment while you're away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or extra cuddles, I'll make sure they receive personalized care and plenty of attention. I currently work part-time and only at night. I am open mornings and early afternoons 7 days a week! I have a very flexible schedule, so I am open to working with whatever your household pets need! Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. In a client's home, I strive to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while keeping their environment clean and secure. I am attentive to each pet's unique needs and behavior. I communicate regularly with owners through updates and photos so they can feel confident their pet is in good hands. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and loving experience for every pet while their family is away.
“The level of detail that Regina provided with each visit is the quality of care that I’ve been looking for in a cat sitter for years!!! Finally, I can fully enjoy my time away knowing my cats are well cared for! The app worked flawlessly! I received an alert at the beginning and end of each visit. Regina was extremely attentive and provided detailed information and photos of both cats after each visit. So grateful to have found Regina! Will definitely use her again! Highly recommend!”

“We’ve had a great experience with Katie. She’s so great with our two dogs, including one with special needs. They just love her and the kids. Cannot recommend enough.”

About: I’ve had everything from high-energy Vizslas and Weimaraners to squishy-faced English Bulldogs and now two tiny but mighty Yorkies—so I totally get the range of pet personalities! Add in my four cats and you’ll see I’m fully immersed in the pet life 24/7. I genuinely love being around animals—whether it’s playtime or snuggle time, I’m all in. Pet sitting isn’t just a gig for me—it’s an extension of the love I already have for my own furry crew. I currently work from home, which gives me a super flexible schedule for pet care. I’m happy to stop by before or after my workday—or even swing by for a quick lunch break visit! I also love getting outside, so if your pup’s into walks, that’s a win for both of us. Whether it’s a cuddle session, a potty break, or playtime, I’ll make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve. When caring for pets in their home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. That means sticking to their regular feeding schedule, walk times, and any special instructions you leave for me. I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable—whether that’s extra playtime, cozy snuggles, or just keeping them company. I also keep things tidy and treat your home with the same respect I’d want for mine.
About: I have owned both cats and dogs in my life time, as well as pet sat for many friends and family over the years. I currently own a black American shorthair cat named Daisy :) I am a single mom who has my kids 50% of the time. When I have my kids, I cannot do overnights but I am open to dog walks, play dates, and feedings. When I do not have my kids I have more flexibility to be with your animal(s) for a longer period of time Given my townhome and the pet I own I currently cannot have animals stay with me. I care for all animals with the utmost gentleness and care. I am able to play with and walk dogs / cats
“Kiaira is an angel and a Godsend!! I don’t know what we would’ve done without her. Our dogs loved her. I will be booking her every time I need someone and she is available. Kiaira and her fiancé are truly a gift! We’re so grateful for them!”

“Dayjah is so good to us, and our kitty Penelope. She's flexible, communicative, and so thoughtful, even picking up all of Penelope's toys that we leave strewn about when we're away. 🥰”

About: I have two dogs and a cat that I care for over the summer. While in my care, the dogs have been on walks, swam in lakes and been taken to the dog park to chase toys. The cat is an indoor/outdoor cat without a cat door, so she requires constant monitoring so she can get in and out. They are all very loving, so I am also comfortable with high attention needs. I will be working two part-time jobs over the summer, but my hours will not keep me busy, so I will have plenty of time to pet sit I only offer services in client homes, but I am excellent with keeping feeding and walking schedules. Given my experience with dogs, I am also comfortable with playing or relaxing with dogs. Excited pups and layed-back pups are equally welcome!
“Truly a wonderful experience! I was out of town for a wedding, and had to leave my anxious pup alone for the first time. Gabrielle made the process so easy - and made sure to keep me updated and took good care her! She kept up with her meds, and paid close attention to other dogs while out on walks. Will be booking again!”

About: 🐾 About Me Hi! I’m Anna — lifelong animal lover, certified cat-obsessed, and the kind of person who stops to say hi to every dog on the sidewalk. I grew up with both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I lost my soul kitty, Aida, who taught me so much about love, patience, and tuning into an animal’s emotions. Because of her, I show up for every pet with extra gentleness, attention, and respect. I know how important it is to feel like your pet is safe, understood, and happy while you're away. I’m calm, reliable, and easygoing — but also fun, playful, and fully committed to making sure your pets feel comfortable and cared for. Whether your pet is social, shy, quirky, energetic, or a little stubborn, I meet them exactly where they are. 🐶🐱 My Pet Care Approach ✨ All animals welcome — cats, dogs, seniors, shy pets, and everything in between. ✨ I prioritize safety, routine, and communication. ✨ I’m patient with anxious or nervous animals. ✨ I give lots of updates so you never wonder how things are going. I understand how hard it can be to trust someone with your pets — so I make it easy by treating them like my own. 💬 What Services I Offer -Drop-In Visits Perfect for feeding, litter scooping, playtime, cuddles, and check-ins. I’m great with shy cats. 💖 Why Choose Me? • Calm, patient energy animals naturally relax around • Experienced with cats of all ages • Big heart for pets with quirks, anxiety, or special routines • Reliable, communicative, and never rushes through visits • A little extra love in honor of Aida, my heart kitty Since I work from home, it’s easy for me to step out for drop-ins or walks throughout the day. My schedule is flexible, so I can accommodate morning, mid-day, or evening visits. Pet care blends smoothly into my week and gives me something grounding and joyful to look forward to. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow the routine you already have in place. I handle feeding, fresh water, litter scooping, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any medications as needed. I also pay close attention to your pet’s mood and body language so I can adjust my approach — some pets want play, some want cuddles, and some prefer calm company. For house sits (no overnights), I make sure pets feel comfortable in their space, stick to their schedule, keep things tidy, and give frequent photo updates so you always know they’re doing well.

Kayden was fantastic! She was reliable, communicative, and took such great care of Jax while we were away. Lindsey and her girls were great with our middle aged cat, Lambeau! They gave him lots of love and were a great help while we were out of town, checking on him everyday, being very responsive to messages, and picked up after some messes he made! If you have a chance to book Lindsey, your pet is in great hands!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Waconia. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
