“When our normal sitter for our 18 year old dog was unavailable we selected Dayjah to fill in. As our dog is old, we are very protective with him. We spike with Dayjah on the phone first. It was clear that she not only was very knowledgeable about about pet care, but even more important, she loved animals. Our dog did fantastic with Dayjah. About: I’ve had dogs of my own over the years and have raised them from puppies, so I’m very familiar with all stages of a dog’s life from training and high-energy puppy behavior to the needs of adult and senior dogs. I’ve also personally fostered two daschund dogs for several years while a friend went through a difficult transition, caring for them full-time until she was able to find pet-friendly housing. That experience really deepened my understanding of long-term, committed pet care. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds from larger dogs like Boxers to small breeds like Boston Terriers, Dachshunds, and Yorkies. I truly love them all and adjust my care based on each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just companionship, I focus on making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine since I work from home Monday–Friday, which gives me flexibility for walks, feedings, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. My availability is open, and I’m also available most weekends. At my home, I provide a safe, family-friendly environment where pets are cared for like part of the family. I have a 10-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy, so I always ensure interactions are supervised and safe for both the pets and children. I follow each pet’s normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while staying in my home.

About: Hi! I’m Megan, and I’ve spent years working hands-on with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have a strong background in pet care, including working as a dog trainer for both group classes and private clients, as well as experience in dog daycare, boarding, and veterinary settings. I’ve cared for dogs in many environments and I’m comfortable handling everything from basic care to more behavior-focused needs. I have experience reading dog body language and helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and understood. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve been extensively involved in rescue work as a foster home and running a shelter behavior group of volunteers so I’m especially patient with reactive, anxious, or higher-needs dogs. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and tailoring care to what works best for them. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight care, you can count on me to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care—just like I would for my own. I’m currently a stay at home mom and so I am able to be flexible in most cases. Evenings and weekends will be my most available times! I have two dogs of my own who are very used to new animals coming and going. I don’t have a fenced backyard, but do have tie outs or can leash walk any pets at my home. Every animal has different needs, so I will do my best to figure out what sleeping arrangements make them the most comfortable during their stay (I have kennels of every size so people do not need to bring theirs back and forth unless they prefer to). I’m well versed in methods of calming for pets that might be nervous. I do have a 6 month old infant at home who is very used to dogs, but any pets coming in to my home would need to be safe and comfortable around her.

About: I have grown up with a dog and cats. I am very familiar with how to successfully care for pets because I don’t remember my life without pets. Growing up, I had both a dog and cats that I helped take care of. I was involved in feeding them, bathing them, and making sure they felt loved and cared for. I also spent a lot of time walking my dog, which I really enjoyed. take care of pets by making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting lots of attention. I meet their basic needs like feeding, walks, and playtime, while also adjusting to their unique personality. My goal is to make every pet feel happy and loved, just like they would with their owner.

About: I have had animals my entire life. As a child we had cats, and dogs. I helped care for my neighbors hobby farm when they were away. As an adult with my own children we have had a dog, who sadly passed away 3 years ago. He was my eldest pet. He purchased a bunny to appease his love for animals, but it has not filled that hole that is dog left. I have 3 kids, 13, 9 and 6. They all love animals. We help care for friends pets when they're out of town. I would love to care for your pet! And my children will give them lots of love and snuggles. I homeschool my kids. So the kids are home 6 days out of the week. My husband is a nurse and I am home with the kids and I will be able to give your pet lots of attention and care.
