It was clear that she not only was very knowledgeable about about pet care, but even more important, she loved animals. Our dog did fantastic with Dayjah. About: Hi! I’m Megan, and I’ve spent years working hands-on with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have a strong background in pet care, including working as a dog trainer for both group classes and private clients, as well as experience in dog daycare, boarding, and veterinary settings. I’ve cared for dogs in many environments and I’m comfortable handling everything from basic care to more behavior-focused needs. I have experience reading dog body language and helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and understood. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve been extensively involved in rescue work as a foster home and running a shelter behavior group of volunteers so I’m especially patient with reactive, anxious, or higher-needs dogs. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and tailoring care to what works best for them. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight care, you can count on me to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care—just like I would for my own. I’m currently a stay at home mom and so I am able to be flexible in most cases. Evenings and weekends will be my most available times! I have two dogs of my own who are very used to new animals coming and going. I don’t have a fenced backyard, but do have tie outs or can leash walk any pets at my home. Every animal has different needs, so I will do my best to figure out what sleeping arrangements make them the most comfortable during their stay (I have kennels of every size so people do not need to bring theirs back and forth unless they prefer to). I’m well versed in methods of calming for pets that might be nervous. I do have a 6 month old infant at home who is very used to dogs, but any pets coming in to my home would need to be safe and comfortable around her.

About: We love spending time with dogs, especially taking them on walks and giving them lots of attention. One of us grew up with a Pomeranian and regularly pet sits for parents, so we’re comfortable providing reliable care. One of us works until 2 PM and the other works from home, so we have plenty of flexibility to give pets attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. We’re also usually in town on weekends! We follow pets usual routines, provide plenty of playtime and walks, and give them lots of attention while they’re away from their owners! We live in a nice neighborhood with plenty of green space. Our home is spacious and we do not have any pets of our own (yet!), so your pet will have our undivided attention!

About: My home with fenced in backyard is located on the Dakota Trail by Crystal Bay, Lake Mntka. I'm home full time and guarantee two 30-40 minute walks a day (if your pup is up for it, if not I will accommodate). I have been a dog lover my entire life! I have many years of experience from taking care of my own furbaby (Pug named Bagels!) to caring for others cherished pups. Your dog will love staying in my home! We spend time playing, relaxing & snuggling. Your dog will have an amazing stay with lots of love and care and is welcome all over my home. Your pup will enjoy my fenced in backyard and outdoor patio so when the weather is nice your pup can lounge in the sun. Your pup will always be on a leash when on walks and watched very closely. I generally board one dog at a time so that I can offer high quality care. Your pup will be spoiled with loving attention! Be prepared for lots of photos of your dog relaxing in my cozy home or getting fresh air on the trail! I look forward to meeting you and your furbaby. I enjoy caring for pups very much however I do require the following: Dogs must be current on shots, heartworm & flea & tick treatments. I generally care for one dog at a time but make exceptions for families with multiple dogs. I don't watch dogs with any history of aggression. Only house trained pups please. I’m home full-time so I’m flexible with my hours. Drop off and Pick up can be arranged to fit your schedule. No problem when changes occur with your travel at last minute. I do not require a cancellation or change fee because LIFE happens! Safety is one of my top priorities. I have a fenced in backyard and a very friendly Pug for your dog to play with. Your dog will always be leashed when walking on the Dakota trail.

“We were up for a few days and our old boy, Bowie had recently had some medical issues that we needed him to have a little extra love while we were off doing things and we would bring him back daily when done running. We didn't expect this to be a relaxing spa vacation for him! He was showered with love and pampered more that he is at home! I think he thinks I'm a bad dog dad now! Tawny took him for multiple walks every day, brushed him, gave him treats, and just loved him. He even got in the puppy pool which he doesn't do at home! I absolutely could not have asked for a better person to care for our baby. About: I've taken care of all types of pets from a very young age. Whether it be a tiny chihuahua to a sizeable Bullmastiff, a cat, birds including chickens, reptiles, fish, even small furry friends like rabbits or ferrets. I have adored and been fascinated by animals my whole life and am up for any challenge you throw at me. I've personally trained my dog to follow voiceless hand signal commands and he is also special needs, so caring for a senior or special needs animal is a breeze for me! I've even provided end of life care for my grandmother's cat, which included administering fluids via injection, so don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. Not to mention that I have experience raising young kittens and squirrels at milk drinking ages! I am available from 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday and overnights on Fridays and Saturdays. I could possibly do extended overnight stays in my own home if your pet is dog, cat, and young child friendly. Whether it be for a walk, potty break, comfort while you're away, socializing and training your puppy basic commands (and maybe a few tricks), or even just taking your furry friend out for a pup cup and to a sniff spot, I'm the gal for you. I will even provide litter or doggy doo doo cleanup for an additional price. Your pet will always be safe and loved in my hands. I am currently in between jobs, and my kiddos go to daycare from 7am-5pm M-F, so I am available to help between those times, or overnights at your house on Fridays and Saturdays. I could be purr-suaded to do extended overnight stays at my house if your feline is cat, dog, and young child friendly. If I am caring in my home, I have 3 cats-all fixed- a special needs male dog who is NOT fixed due to medical reasons, and two kids under the age of 5. If you choose to keep your pet at my home, they need to be able to get along with them or be kept in a separate room. If you have a female dog, they would need to be fixed with proof of spay. My special needs dog has no business procreating! I have a large home and a decent sized yard with a tie-out cable so that your pet can explore my whole backyard safely without fear of taking off. I also have a screened in porch that I often let the cats roam in during the nicer months. I have a Honda CR-V, so I can keep decently large dogs in the car as well for transport or in case of emergency. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will cuddle, play, exercise, and feed & water them to their hearts content. I will ask however for an extra fee to pick up any dog poo or clean litter boxes.

About: I have had pets all while growing up. I have had two bigger dogs and I have a cat at my parents house. I have help neighbors watch and walk there dogs when they are gone. I am currently working part time which allows me to have a lot of flexibility. This allows me to have more time to care for animals. I make sure to walk or play with them regularly! Always keeping an eye on them so make sure they’re safe and behaving. I also want them to be comfortable with me so making sure I introduce my self in mine or there home correctly.

About: Home full-time and just steps from miles of walking trails, your dog will enjoy plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship throughout the day. We currently have Loki, our friendly 5-year-old Golden Retriever, who loves other dogs, playing outside, and spending time with our two boys. Our boys absolutely love dogs and are gentle, affectionate, and excited to help make visiting dogs feel like part of the family. Boarding with us means your dog will be welcomed into a real home — not treated like just another booking. We only board one dog at a time, which allows us to give your dog plenty of attention, keep the environment calm, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. We do not have a fenced yard, but we have a large, wooded yard (.6 acres) where dogs can safely enjoy time outside on a lead. We also live right by a regional walking/biking trail, so frequent walks and outdoor time are easy and part of our routine. I am comfortable caring for all dogs, including senior dogs, rescue dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and dogs who need a little extra patience or reassurance. I have experience giving medications, crate training, leash walking, basic obedience, and helping dogs settle into a new environment. I am active and outdoorsy, so dogs who enjoy walks, playtime, and being part of family life will fit in well here. For everyone’s safety and comfort, visiting dogs must be potty trained, kid-friendly, and non-aggressive. They do not need to be crate trained. We are not currently accepting puppies. Our goal is simple: to give your dog a safe, loving, active place to stay where they get the kind of care we would want for our own dog. My husband and I both work from home on alternating schedules, so caring for dogs are part of our normal daily rhythm. We are available throughout the day for potty breaks, attention, feeding, walks, and check-ins. We live right on a regional trail, which makes daily walks easy, and we also spend time outside in our large yard with dogs safely on a lead. Pet care naturally fits into our family routine — walks, playtime, downtime, and lots of love. Your dog can expect a warm, active family home with plenty of attention, outdoor time, and affection. Because we only board one guest dog at a time, your dog will get personalized care, a calm environment, and lots of time with our friendly Golden Retriever, Loki. We want dogs to feel comfortable, safe, and included while you are away. We have a large yard, but it is not fenced, so visiting dogs are always kept safe on a lead when outside. Our home includes two dog-loving boys and our friendly Golden, so visiting dogs should be kid-friendly, potty trained, and comfortable around another dog. We can crate your dog if that is part of their normal routine, but crate training is not required. We are happy to follow your dog’s feeding, medication, walking, and sleep routines as closely as possible to help them feel secure.

About: Dogs are lovable and a helping career is fulfilling. By helping humans with their canines I get the best of both worlds! Dogs have always been apart of my life, and recently we had our own 13yo mutt who came as a puppy, had a long full life, and passed away in my husband’s arms. Before that we had another mutt that lived to be 16yo, but she was a pound puppy we got at about 2yo. Also, our dog-niece lived with us for January 2024 while her parents vacationed.
