About: I haven had dogs in my house and taken care of them since I was 7 years old. I've participated in training classes with my black lab as a puppy, as well as daily dog chores like walking, feeding, and brushing. I also have experience taking care of injured and elderly dogs. Along with caring for my own pets, I've also pet sat for neighbors and friends before. These visits included walks, play time, feeding, brushing, etc. This summer I have a part time nanny job, so I will have plenty of extra time to take care of your fur babies! I will be available weekdays after 4pm and all day on the weekends. I understand that dogs can be hesitant when stranger enter their home, but try to greet new pets slowly and friendly and give them all the sniffs they need.

That allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care during the weekdays. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day, and I enjoy building pet care into my routine because spending time with animals is something I genuinely love. When caring for pets during drop-in visits or walks, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining their usual routine. I can provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention and companionship during each visit. I always take time to understand each pet’s personality and needs, whether they are energetic and playful or more shy and relaxed. About: I’ve had various of animals my whole life. I’ve had animals of all scales, from cows & horses, to lizards & ferrets. As well as training various of dogs from all different breeds, I understand your “scary” dog, as well as your sweet little lap dog! Between my previous employment at a boarding facility and my current employment at the animal shelter, i’ve worked and handled many different personality’s and breeds of dogs and cats. I have a part time job at the animal shelter, I typically only work from 9/10am-5pm on 1-2 weekdays. So I have plenty of time in the afternoon to drop in, or some time to get a walk or two in after work on weekdays. The days I don’t work I can come to your home whenever! I work 9-5 on weekends but i’m willing to come hangout with your fur baby’s afterward. I unfortunately can’t have fur babies come to my house, but i’m more than happy to come to you! I will keep your dogs on leash if you don’t have a fenced backyard, unless informed otherwise. I will also bring your pups on walks, I will keep them on leash, and use an extra leash if needed.

In addition to my professional experience, I’ve been extensively involved in rescue work as a foster home and running a shelter behavior group of volunteers so I’m especially patient with reactive, anxious, or higher-needs dogs. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and tailoring care to what works best for them. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight care, you can count on me to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care—just like I would for my own. I’m currently a stay at home mom and so I am able to be flexible in most cases. Evenings and weekends will be my most available times! I have two dogs of my own who are very used to new animals coming and going. I don’t have a fenced backyard, but do have tie outs or can leash walk any pets at my home. Every animal has different needs, so I will do my best to figure out what sleeping arrangements make them the most comfortable during their stay (I have kennels of every size so people do not need to bring theirs back and forth unless they prefer to). I’m well versed in methods of calming for pets that might be nervous. I do have a 6 month old infant at home who is very used to dogs, but any pets coming in to my home would need to be safe and comfortable around her.

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life! I treat my cats like they are my children and I would do anything for them! I would take care of your fur babies as if they were my own! They say that if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life! Pets definitely make me the happiest!! I like to keep the living space clean and sanitized, I clean litter boxes every day. I pick up poop while on dog walks. Also, while dog walking, if there's another dog near and the you're dog seems uncomfortable or threatened, I would move to the other side of the street or walk the other way to remove ourselves from the situation. Most animals, if not all, trust and love me back!
