My family raised many different breeds over the years—from small companion dogs like Pugs, Pekingese, and Pomeranians to large breeds like German Shepherds and Great Danes. I developed a deep love for animals early on and have continued caring for pets into adulthood. About: I’ve been raised with Labrador retrievers siblings (not pets) since Barkley (my first brother) slept under my crib after my mom brought me home from the hospital. Every place I go where there is a dog, it’s my goal to make sure they like me so I am extremely attuned to how dogs are feeling as well as their needs. I helped potty train my family’s most recent labs (Buck and Buzz) as well as teach them a few tricks. I have a very flexible work schedule and would love to help out during the typical 9-5. I also would be happy to help with early morning walks. About: Hi! I’m Alexa and I am from San Diego, California. While growing up, I walked to school and stopping along the way to pet each and every dog we spotted. Eventually my family adopted one of our own, Marley, and from there on out she walked to school with us every day. My love for dogs only grew from there. I would pet sit my neighbors dog when needed (vacation, late from work, etc). Their dog loved to walk but had a hip problem so we had to make his walks shorter and have him wear doggie booties. I also volunteered at Helen Woodward Animal Shelter for a number of years. I’ve been taking care of pets since high school, throughout undergrad and currently while in graduate school! About: I've always had a love for dogs every since I was little and actually got to help raise my current dog when COVID happened in 2020 from when he was a puppy. I've pet sat so many times throughout my life and thought this would be a good way to help ensure the well-being of everyone's pet in their family! I am currently home for the summer and working remotely for an internship two days of the week. I have plenty of time to go and check on your pet during the day! Will make sure they are safe and sound. I have trained my dog to love his crate, so he usually goes in there when he wants to. Hanna was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure our kitty was taken care of — giving her what she needed that day, whether it was play or snuggles. She noticed ants got in the food bowl so thoroughly washed it, refreshed the food, and immediately extinguished the ant problem while we were away. Great communicator with great pictures. 10/10 recommend!
Good sitter! Everything went well with Ella's drop in visit. My dog was well cared for. He was tired when I arrived home so I know he got a lot of playtime. Importantly, when I arrived home, the doors and gate were properly closed and my dog was safely in the house. I will use her again, next time for a dog walk.
Juan did an amazing job with my dog and cat! He was very thorough, spent a lot of time playing with them, and sent detailed reports with every visit with lots of pictures. He followed all the directions I left and was super helpful. I will definitely ask him to take care of my pets again next time I am out of town!
I really appreciate Patrick taking care of my two kitties while I was away for two weeks to visit family. Patrick clearly loves animals and has shown lots of cares to my cat’s wellbeing! He came twice a day to visit my kitties and even volunteered to stay longer during the initial visits to build trust with them. Patrick’s is a great communicator. He came to have a meet and greet with me beforehand to introduce himself and listened to our needs and special instructions. Throughout the entire sitting process, he constantly communicated the status of the kitties with lots of pictures. He always asked clarifying questions if he was unsure about something or something unexpected came up. This allowed me to follow my kitties condition through out my trip. It gave me peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy my time. My cats have grown comfortable with his presence and enjoyed being taken care of. Thank You, Patrick!
Brandolyn did a fantastic job taking care of our baby boy, Enoki. She went over and above to ensure that our carpet was clean after he ate a plant and threw it back up. She reassured us that he was doing well after that incident. We will certainly utilize her again!
