“Dylan did such a great job with my dog. I was a little nervous about how my dog would take to a new person but it worked out wonderfully. Dylan is patient and caring. Will definitely book again.”

“Susana has been a fabulous care taker for our little one. Before and during our extending overseas trip, she was very communicative and provided wonderful update photos to put us as ease”

“Lyla did a great job: she was willing to come meet the pups beforehand, showed up on time to house/dog sit, sent photos and updates, and left the house and dogs clean and happy. We hope to use Lyla for future dog care needs and highly recommend her to others.”

“We cannot say enough good stuff about Jan and Paul! Paul stayed at our home and watched our 3 small dogs for a week. One of our dogs has special needs due to health issues and Paul was willing to work with us on a new health diagnosis and administer insulin. Another one of our dogs is highly anxious and Paul even had him eating out of his hand which took 6 months for my husband to do. We got daily updates with photos and video. Paul even chopped up a small tree that fell due to snow and wind and sharpened our knives lol. Basically went above and beyond what would be expected and we cannot thank them enough.”
“Roree was amazing in her care for Ruby. She touched base with me every morning to let me know that Ruby was eating well and doing great taking her medications. As an owner with a special needs dog (illness and personality) Roree was so patient getting to know Ruby and allowing her the time and space to be comfortable. It was such a relief to be able to go on vacation and know that Ruby was in good hands and being taken care of with a level of care and dedication that is hard to find! Thank you Roree!!”

“Anthea is amazing! This is our second time having her watch our dogs and it is so nice knowing the level of care and attention they will get while we are away. Anthea had great communication during the entire stay and sent us daily updates with lots of photos. If you are looking for reliable and exceptional care for you pet, look no further. We already have our next stay booked with her later this summer.”

“Lilly did an exceptional job with our dogs, and with very short notice. Our dogs are a little high maintenance, and need a lot of exercise and attention so coming home to happy and content dogs was awesome! We can’t thank you enough, everything looks great, and Thor and Blue are happy! If you’re looking for a responsible dog sitter, Lilly is it! She’s kind, trustworthy and an animal lover! Thanks again, Lilly 🥳”

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life, have been feeding stray cats in my neighborhood for years, and I've been pet-sitting for the past 6 years! I've watched all kinds of animals, including big and small dogs, friendly and scaredy-cats, a dog who wore diapers, and a blind dog. My animal care experience also includes chickens, goats, cows, and bearded dragons! I've never been one to shy away from any animal, no matter what its needs are. I'm currently on summer break from college, so I'm free all day to watch your pets! Call on me early in the morning, late at night, or anytime in between, and I'll be available. I am dedicated to understanding each pet's particular needs so I can provide quality care and companionship for them. I'm also committed to keeping your home clean, and I'm not scared of cleaning up any messes your animals may make. I'm easy to reach by phone, so you don't need to worry about contacting me for any reason.
“Did an amazing job of taking care of my two pups. Especially with one being dog aggressive she took extra precautions and did everything I asked. She sent me tons of pictures which I loved and was a very good at communicating. She stayed the night and had the house as I left it and even washed my sheets and made my bed after! All in all I’d recommend macynn for all your dogs needs will be going back for sure!”

About: I have cared for all sorts animals my whole life, from as small as a gerbil to as large as a llama. I have previous experience working in a boarding kennel and veterinary office. I have experience working with special needs animals and administrating medications. I work full time, 6-8 hour shifts 5-6 days a week. I am almost always done with work between 1 and 2 pm at the latest. I don't have consistent days off but can be flexible with availability. For pets who need extra care throughout the day (potty breaks every 4 hours, 3+ meals, etc.), I can typically work accommodations into my schedule. I am well-versed in behavioral signs of animals and will make them feel safe and trusted while I am in their homes. My main goal is always to support your pets in whatever way they need.

About: I have always loved dogs. I grew up with a black lab (age 5-18), and when I was in high school I frequently watched dogs and cats in a pet sitting capacity. Pet sitting for neighbors and friends was my first job, and as soon as I got my drivers license, I expanded my pet sitting clientele. As an adult, my husband and I had a rescue dog (Pitt/lab mix) who was our fur baby. When we adopted her, she had separation anxiety and resource guarding issues. We worked with a trainer to help her overcome those issues, and were grateful for the wonderful years we enjoyed with her. Unfortunately, she died in early 2025. While we are not in a position to have our own dog right now, we would love to continue to snuggle and support local dogs through pet sitting. We do have a toddler at home. She loves dogs and we would never leave her unattended with any animal. While we will be careful to ensure any dogs in our care are set up for success by being separated from our toddler with baby gates, etc., we are only able to host dogs who are comfortable around small children. I am a middle school teacher, so I have full-time availability during school breaks and the summer. I am also available to drop in before and/or after my work, depending on the location. My husband, Cristopher, works from home and loves having a dog as his co-worker to be let out on demand. As dog owners, we never left our own dog home alone for more than 4-5 hours, and we will only accept a boarding booking if our schedule allows the same time commitment to your dog. We treat all dogs like they are our own. As a former pet parent, I know that I can never replace you, but I will do everything I can to make sure your dog feels comfortable and safe in my care. We have a fenced yard with no animals in our home (except for the occasional wild bunny). Our yard has plenty of space for dogs to run around and play.
“Breauna was amazing with our dog Joey! He has some anxiety especially when he's separated from us but she did a great job of taking care of him and making him feel secure. She exceeded expectations by taking him on walks that were not necessary and sending us lots of pictures and updates! She was also very respectful of our home and we came back to the place just as neat as we had left it. Very kind and amazing vibes, well definitely be using her again!! Thank you so much!!!”

“Mary was super professional, attentive to senior dog care feeding and meds, and careful about keeping our house in order for an overnight job. Plus our timid dog loved her! Highly recommended!”

“Annemarie did a wonderful job taking care of my two pups, cat, and house while I was gone on a long trip. She kept me updated with messages/texts and photos so I could see my fur babies. The house was clean when I returned and she even helped figure out a problem with my alarm system while I was gone! Highly recommend and would hire again!”

“I cannot recommend Izzy enough! She is the BEST with our pups! So sweet and involved with the dogs and does a great job! You get pics of your fur babies and all the reassurance you need when you are apart from them! We love her and so do the doggies!💗💗”

“Shani is an amazing person! She takes great care of the pups and sends beautiful pictures and updates. We highly recommend her and look forward to having her stay with our dogs in the future.”

“I was worried about leaving my cat for the first time, but Erin took great care of him! I received regular updates and pictures, and the apartment was spotless. Thank you so much ☺️”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 4,218 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Creswell Heights. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Creswell Heights walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Creswell Heights maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Creswell Heights choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
