About: I’ve loved and lived with cats for as long as I can remember. I was one of the few employees that would run the cat room when I worked for PetsMart in their PetsHotel. I’m well versed in special diets and medications as well as know when to give space or love to my feline friends. About: I had a cat that I rescued from the side of the road and cared for and loved for two years. He became a very special part of our family and taught me so much about caring for and understanding cats. Although we eventually had to rehome him, we were able to place him with a close family member, so we still get to visit him often. About: I’ve been dedicated to dogs for most of my life. My current best friend, Arty was a stray and then was at shelters for a long time before I adopted him. He had issues, but I didn’t give up on him. I took him to manners class and used marker training to work through his issues. He is now a well-balanced boy. He loves to pose for pictures, for treats, of course. I would love to care for your pet when you’re away, in your home or mine if your pet is a good fit with Arty. I am a fit and active retiree. I go for long walks every morning and work out at the gym four days a week. The rest of my days are dedicated to my dog and gardening. I have a large fenced yard that is perfect for dogs to play and do zoomies. I have a large dog door and my house is dog friendly, with dog vets and throw rugs on a hardwood floor. After every walk, I send a photo and a quick update on how it went, including any bathroom breaks and behavior. When I'm in your home, I follow your instructions for keys, doors, and gates, make sure everything is locked and secure when I leave, and respect your privacy and property. If there's ever an emergency, I'll contact you right away and get your dog to your vet or an emergency clinic, and I'm happy to keep your vet's info on hand.

He required a great deal of personal care because he does not have the use of his back legs and is missing one eye due to previous abuse. Cassandra and Trevor sent daily photos, videos, and updates, and spent a great deal of time hand-feeding him and carrying him to where he needed to go.
