“Jessica did such a fantastic job and I was so pleased! I was concerned about my younger cat because of an abusive background and because he didn't do well when I was gone for two days. This time I was leaving for five so I really wanted someone who would spend a bit of time getting to know them and letting them know they weren't alone. My Lilybug usually hides from all strangers and from the pictures I could see that she was out and about, concerned, but not hiding. Firefly (the one that was abused) also appeared to adapt to her well. When I got home after five days, both cats reacted like I had just been gone for a day! They were well taken care of and I will use Jessica in the future.”

Since then we’ve regularly looked after our friends’ dogs until we fostered Simba in 2024 - we had him for 10 months until he was adopted. Because of having family in England, I want to be able to travel there frequently so am not ready to have a permanent dog again yet, but I LOVE having dogs come and stay with me when my calendar allows. I work from home so have flexibility in my routine and am always available for my visitors’ needs. I like to take a morning walk, and an evening one too. I’m not away from home often. I have a fully fenced yard and my neighborhood has beautiful walking trails, that I use whether I am walking a dog, or just walking alone. I’ve fostered rescue dogs and have experience of high anxiety dogs. I’m 6 feet tall and strong, and my last foster was great with people but not so much with other dogs we met on our walks, so I’m used to avoiding them, if necessary! I am happy to send photos to you whilst your dog is in my care, and will communicate with you as frequently as you would like.

About: Hello Rover friends! I am a stay at home mom and would love to help sit your pets in our home. I have an open schedule and a big yard! We have a 10 yr old Lab/germen Shepard mix who loves having play dates and having friends over at our home. We do not have a fenced yard but I can take your pup on plenty of walks in our yard! I have tons of time to take good care of your furry babies, we have a ton of space on our 2 acre lot to play with your pup and take them for walks. We have three adults in the house and 1 child, so plenty if supervision. My dog is has an electric collar so he has a boundary he does not cross, I keep dogs that are prone to be curious on a leash since my yard is not fenced. I keep dogs separated when eating.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I’ve raised several puppies with my family. My friends and family frequently rely on me to watch their dogs when they go out of town. About: Hello, I’ve always grown up around animals. From farm animals to bunnies and birds. I first started dogsitting with rescue dogs. My first being a fear aggressive rescue. I hold a Veterinary Assistants Certificate, as well as multiple years of experience in dog and cat behavior, first aid, emergency response, and administering medications. About: I have cared for all sorts animals my whole life, from as small as a gerbil to as large as a llama. I have previous experience working in a boarding kennel and veterinary office.
