About: I am a doting dog-mom to an anxious, rescue shih-tzu mix, and I’ve had dogs my whole life! About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have over 20 years of experience caring for them. Our family shares our home with Kay, our friendly 40-pound Australian Shepherd and Cocker Spaniel mix. She is playful, social, and enjoys having other dogs around. Dogs in our care become part of our daily routine! We enjoy regular walks, trips to the park, and plenty of playtime. We typically take several walks throughout the day, including a morning walk, a longer afternoon outing, and an evening walk. We’d love to meet your dog and welcome them into our family! our routine is very dog friendly and consistent. We take our dog for 3-4 walk a day and would follow the same routine with your dog. Dogs are staying with us will be fed twice a day according to their usual schedule and will sleep in their own beds at night. On weekends we enjoy taking longer walks of up to an hour and go to our dog park at the community. Safety is our priority. Dogs are always supervised and kept securely leashed when outside, and we never allow dogs off leash outside the home. We keep potentially unsafe items out of reach and make sure the environment is comfortable

There’s a lot of space for walking or playing right outside. In my own home, I have a playpen for my pups whenever I’m not home so that I know they’re safe while I’m away.

Every booking is handled personally by me, so you'll always know who's showing up at your door. I do this full-time, so your pet is a priority, not a side gig. For house sitting I keep your pet on their normal routine, same feeding times, walks, and bedtime, and I send photo and text updates throughout so you can relax while you're away. I follow feeding and medication instructions exactly (I give my own senior dog her meds on a strict schedule, so I take it seriously). Every booking starts with a free meet & greet so your pet and I are comfortable before anything is confirmed. Since I come to you, your pet stays in their own home, familiar surroundings, their own bed and yard, which keeps them calmest, especially seniors and anxious pets. I treat your home with respect: doors locked, mail brought in, plants watered if you'd like, everything left as I found it. I have two dogs of my own, John, a Yorkie, and Lucy, a senior Chihuahua, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy pups to gentle senior care.
