“Judy was amazing. She was very patient and attentive with Cary. She was extremely communicative with me and was very flexible with any changes I needed ❤️”

“Kevin did an amazing job watching my dog, Jamie, for the first time! He sent me daily photos of Jamie enjoying walks and relaxing in the sun on the balcony, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Jamie was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I know he’s in great hands with Kevin, and I’ll definitely be rebooking!”

“Wow, Karine and Ryan were such attentive caregivers for our small pup, Mikoh. We felt totally at ease leaving him with them for a week while we traveled outside the country. Karine was meticulous in caring for Mikoh, and sent multiple updates daily informing me of Mikoh's play times, eating habits, and overall wellbeing. It was also nice knowing that Mikoh was having some nice social time with other pups while we were away. I would wholeheartedly recommend their care for your pup, and look forward to working with them again in the future. Thank you!!”

“Richard and his wife are caring and took very care of my dog Paddy. My dog had a couple of great stays and we appreciate the daily updates and photos. We will continue using Richard and I highly recommend him if you are looking for a pet sitter whose house feels like home!”

Dogs can play all day together and sleep together at night. I highly recommend Andrea and we will definitely book our dog to stay with her next time we travel.”

About: I’ve always enjoyed taking care of dogs since I was a child. I had a childhood dog, Rags who I doted on. In 2004, my dreams came true with having a dog of my own, Missy. Missy was a wonderful addition to my family for her lifetime of 17 years. I have a lot of love to give to your dog. I”m a teacher who’s off for the summer and when school resumes in the fall, I’m home by 2:45 pm. This schedule will allow me to go above and beyond when taking care of your dog. Your dog will be able to run freely in our home. I work close by so I will come home to walk your dog during the work day and then I’m home from work by 2:45. Once I’m home, I will play and pet your dog continuously as I did for 17 years with my beloved Missy.

“Danielle and her husband were the absolute best and took wonderful and loving care of our two dogs Layla (a Shipoo) and Aubrey( a Shorkie). Our dogs had never been boarded in the 2 years we had them. We were looking for a comfortable home setting and Danielle provided the love and attention they needed. They got along extremely well with her sweet female retriever Sassy. Danielle sent us lots of pictures of all the dogs together while we were away and they all looked very happy. I knew from the meet and greet that I loved Danielle and we hit it off well. My husband, daughter and future son in law all met Danielle and loved her and her husband as well. Danielle's fenced in yard and porch were perfect for our dogs. They got lots of walks and hugs from Danielle. Danielle also kept to their home schedule of snacks and things they like to do. She even had them sleep in their bed next to get at night! I highly recommend Danielle! Do not have any worries about leaving your dogs with her. We left the dogs with Danielle for a week and they came home very happy and content but probably miss Danielle, her husband and playing with Sassy. We will definitely use Danielle in the future! “Yenis was great! She was super communicative and sent lots of pictures and videos! Looked like our dog Tex had a great time and felt super comfortable! Would definitely book again 😊”

“Monika was so so great! Roger (our pup) had the best time and came back super happy. I got lots of cute pics, and can’t wait to have Roger visit Monika and her family soon!!!!”

“Katherine was so helpful taking our dog Ellie last minute on Thanksgiving. She was even kind enough to have her for one more day last minute, while we had guests in town! She sent pictures and was very responsive! Would absolutely use Katherine again in the future!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cos Cob
Our small rescue dog Lucy stayed with Ashley 6 nights and the transformation was amazing! Ashley is a very talented and passionate trainer and I will certainly recommend her to anybody needing dog training and/or boarding. Lucy had strong reactivity to other dogs and during the boarding she gained her confidence and was able to relax. She is a much happier dog now and I was able to go to the dog park for the first time without a growl or attack on another dog! Of course it's important for the owner to learn what Ashley teaches so I recommend bringing a notepad to take notes since she had a lot to explain.

Rebecca and her husband were great! I had to book them last minute for a wedding weekend where we had a sitter fall through. From the beginning she assured me that they would take good care of our dogs! We have a puppy Duke and a rescue hazy. Both come with a big personality and it was no sweat to them. They were communicative, responsive and exceeded our expectations. We are not from the area but highly highly recommend anyone who is to book with them! When we come back to visit we will for sure be using them again!

Stefanie was amazing - kind, patient and understanding with our anxious pup's first boarding experience ever, and a great communicator. She and her human and four legged family members welcomed our pup with open arms and helped put our mind at ease that our pup was in great hands. Would definitely recommend and we'd definitely book with her again!!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
