About: I have worked with dogs since elementary school, when I started a dog walking business in my neighborhood to pay for summer camp. Friends, family members, and neighbors, have relied on me to do tasks as simple as stop in and feed their pets, to staying with their furry friends for extended periods of time. I have also grown up with Great Danes so I know how to handle extra large dogs! I am a college student who is off for summer break, so my schedule is completely open to care for your pets, whether thats a walk a few times a week or staying over at the house for a period of time. I don't offer boarding services since I rent the space I am living in and it does not allow pets. However, when it comes to services provided in the home of the pet, I will follow any directions that are given to me to my greatest ability!

“Katrine has been amazing with our 6-month old border collie puppy. Katrine comes by in the afternoon of our workdays and takes Banyan on hikes or other fun outings. She always plays with her, takes great photos of their adventures, and is very communicative. Best of all, Banyan is a much calmer and happier girl when I get home from work - I even have time to unpack my bag and decompress from the day before having to take her on her evening walk ( normally Banyan is a mad woman when I come home - so full of energy!) Katrine also asks questions that make it clear she’s being so considerate of our dog’s needs and very respectful of our home. Would highly recommend Katrine, she’s a great resource and we’ll be using her all summer.”

With my second dog especially, I took an active role in training and behavior development, learning how to use positive reinforcement and establish routines that help dogs feel secure and happy. I regularly help friends by providing midday potty breaks and companionship for their dogs when they're at work or traveling. This schedule works perfectly for dog walks, evening pet visits, and weekend pet sitting when families are traveling. I'm also available for last-minute requests when my schedule allows. I understand that pets need care even when their families are working full days, and my afternoon and weekend availability is ideal for busy pet parents who want to ensure their furry family members get attention and exercise while they're away. During pet check-ins, I focus on making sure each animal gets the individual attention and care they need. I always let dogs spend as much time outside as they want - whether that's a quick potty break or a longer play session in the yard. I pay attention to their energy level and preferences that day. I believe quality time is just as important as meeting basic needs, so I make sure to engage with each pet through play, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. For more active dogs, I'm happy to take them on short walks during my visit to give them extra exercise and mental stimulation. I follow the specific instructions and routines that pet parents provide, but I also adapt to what the pet seems to need in the moment. Some days they might want to play fetch, other days they just want someone to sit with them. I always make sure they have fresh water, food if needed, and that they seem comfortable and content before I leave. I provide updates to pet parents so they know how their furry family member is doing, including any highlights from our time together.

About: I grew up in a pet heavy household, so I can handle anything from Saint Bernards to small cats, and have dog training experience. I am also equipped for pets with medical issues, as I have cared for sick kittens for many years. I am currently a student but with a very flexible schedule and a reliable vehicle, so driving is not a problem. I am also used to getting up early to care for animals so that is not an issue for me I try to keep the routine as normal as possible for every animals so they are the most comfortable and follow owner’s instructions exactly to lessen any anxiety a pet might have.

About: I am a currently in vet school studying to become a veterinarian. I have also been a vet assistant working with dogs and cats for a year. I have had cats all of my life and have done live-in pet sits for dogs. I am very active and love to exercise with other people's dogs. I have a soft spot for pets with special needs. I'm in school on the weekdays from about 9-5pm, with lunch in between. I am able to stay at the house and will spend time with your pet while studying. I do not have any regular commitments on the weekends. I will follow whatever routine you have in place for your pet to the best of my abilities so that they can adjust to a different caretaker easily.

About: I am excited to help with any house/cat sitting needs. I have a very flexible schedule in my current job and can accommodate special care needs. I love meeting new cats and am comfortable caring for cats with all different personalities and needs :) I typically spend 6 hours at work a day, but am totally flexible in when I start and end my day, so I am available to accommodate specific pet care needs twice a day, or am happy to house sit. I can care for pets within the client’s home- I understand cats need a lot of time and space when a new person is introduced, so I make sure to maintain a calm, peaceful environment when meeting a new cat and let them warm up to me at their own pace. I am happy to play and provide cuddles when they’re ready!
