About: Hello! I'm Mimi, a former corporate communications professional turned full-time animal nanny. I have been around animals my whole life and previously owned mini dachshunds, Doodles and Wesley. I also grew up with a rescued barn cat who I had a special relationship with. I am very comfortable with both cats and dogs and love working to earn their trust. I am also a horse owner and find that cats and horses have very similar ways of communicating and make you work for their trust and like to test boundaries! I enjoy the challenge of non-verbal communication and I also have special skills in pet massage! No formal massage training but I have learned a lot from having my own dogs and horse. I am extremely responsible and gentle especially as I'm getting to know new animals. Safety and protection for your pet is my number one. I'm very detailed and will follow instructions and preferences for how your pet is cared for. I am available for drop-in potty break visits for cats and dogs, dog walking, as well as over night house sitting for the right clients. I'm excited to be part of the Rover network and connect with neighbors in my surrounding area of SE Aurora and Centennial. I am also open to other south metro areas based on your needs and my schedule/availability. I am doing pet/house sitting full-time and spend most of my free time with my horse in Parker. I enjoy being outdoors especially in the cooler months! I also enjoy doing yoga and spending time with close friends and family. I do not have any pets in my home at this time so I am open to keeping a small dog at my home for boarding - will discuss with clients as needed.

About: Imagine your pet playing in green grass (maybe a game of fetch, or chase with other furry friends), or maybe they prefer the slower pace of lounging under a shady tree or snuggled up with us on the couch watching a movie. Whatever their speed, we have them covered! Mealtimes are fun too as we like to engage in pet enrichment activities! Hello and thanks for considering us to care for your furry companion! I've been involved with training and care of dogs since I was a kid. My experiences include basic and advanced obedience classes, dog handling classes, and Canine Good Citizen classes. I have been a foster for breeds of all sizes and we have loved them all like they were our own. Our (adopted) shepherd mix came to us a frightened and malnourished teen a couple of years ago and she has flourished into an amazing member of our family. I have cared for two dogs of my own through their senior years and their crossing rainbow bridge. Dogs deserve to live life to the fullest and be treated with kindness and patience throughout all life stages! I work from home, so I am always around. I will not accept animals to care for if I plan to be out of town. I have a fully fenced yard with a shaded and grassy dog run (if your dog prefers to be outside). If they prefer indoors, there is a dog door for accessing the yard anytime. I have crates available if your dog needs one as well. My fur baby is here to play with and keep your dog entertained. We also play fetch,, canine enrichment games, and can take walks (if your dog is comfortable.) I also offer drop-in visits for dog and cat care. I work from home so I’m available to provide all the snuggles and attention your pet needs! If they like car rides and trips to the park, we can do that too. I have a fenced yard and a big couch so your fur baby has everything he/she needs. I follow client’s instructions for drop in visits and try to go above and beyond. (Loving on the older ones while playing fetch with the pups!)

About: Hey there! I’m new to Rover, but definitely not new to dog and cat care! I worked at Earthdog Denver for two years, a local dog daycare in the Baker neighborhood. If your dog comes to daycare or grooming there, I probably already know them! I can also give your dog baths and nail trims. If your cat won’t get too stressed, I can trim their claws too :) If you have other pets (rabbits, hedgehogs, chickens, lizards, etc) I’m comfortable taking care of them, too. I even sit for a miniature horse on occasion. Let me know what kind of animals you need taken care of! I am off work Sat, Suns, and Wednesdays, but I do have most mornings available for quick walks/drop ins. I’m flexible now that I have a car! I cannot care for dogs or cats at my place because I have kitties who wouldn’t appreciate the company! 😅 If you have a caged animal (hedgehog, bird, lizard, etc) I’m more than happy to keep them closed off in my bathroom, or just check in on them at your place if you’d prefer that. My cats have lived with a hedgehog and a gecko so they’re used to small critters.
