Availability
I work remotely Monday through Friday, so I have great flexibility for pet care. With at least 3 days’ notice—sooner is always better—I can usually make it work. I also have reliable transportation to get to you.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced-in backyard that my dog plays in and goes potty. I am the one usually on "clean up" duty which doesn't bother me.
Information Thomas G. would like to know about your pet
Anything about their temperament ie if they are protective of food, toys, dogs, and people around them. Also any medicine they take and how it’s administered. Also, house rules for your pets ie if they are allowed on furniture/ need to be kenneled when left alone etc.
A typical day
I love to go on morning walks and hit the dog park 2-3 times a day when the weather is good. Also, play all day in a backyard that is big enough. Activities like fetch and tug-o-war are always fun.

Experienced, Loving Dog Care
Pet care experience
I’ve been house-sitting and caring for dogs for over a decade. Most recently, I helped care for a sweet 13-year-old Aussie mix named Rosie. She still loves her backyard zoomies and long walks but sometimes needs extra comfort at night when her parents are away. I was happy to be there to help her feel safe and relaxed. In my own life, I have a 4-year-old Heeler/Terrier mix named Sweet Dee, who’s my partner in crime and a constant source of laughs (and lessons). Sweet Dee does not accompany me to pet-sitting unless it’s specifically approved by the pet parents—your pets come first. For transparency, I work full-time remotely for the State of Colorado. About 90% of the time, I’m working from home, but there are occasional days when I get called into the office for a standard workday (up to 8 hours). If that ever overlaps with a booking, I make sure pets are comfortable with that routine and discuss options like longer morning walks, check-ins from a backup sitter if needed, or anything else to ensure they’re happy and cared for. I treat every home and every pet as if they were my own.
Reviews

Such a reliable, conscientious dog and house sitter! Tom always communicates well and takes excellent care of our dog!

Best dog sitter!

Tom was great hanging with our golden and our daughter's cane corso. They challenged him a bit and he did a great job. Will absolutely book with him again. Thanks Tom!

Excellent. Were in Europe and had no worries the entire time we were gone. When we came home, I could see that the dogs were well cared for and loved by him
