We've been a foster family for the Dumb Friends League for over a decade. My children and I have loved caring for all the furry beasts, and their unique personalities, over the years. We have a fenced in backyard that backs onto a school, park, and walking trails.

Emily’s family is so sweet to Luca! I appreciate all of the pictures and updates she sends me and I feel completely at ease when he is there, knowing is he being well cared for.
Emily and her family took great care of my dog while I was away for the week! I received lots of updates and photos. My dog loved spending time with her kids and had lots of activity all week! I will definitely be booking Emily and her family again.

Emily and her family were communicative, easy to work with, thorough and took excellent care of Mowgli for 9 days. They shared daily updates and photos and took Mowgli for walks and even a hike, which made leaving her for that long much easier. Highly recommend and would happily use them again :).

Dates de la garde
Ours is an active home with people constantly going in and out. There would almost always be extra people around happy to give your pet attention. I work from home, with small jobs and errands that take me out for only a few hours at a time. There is enough space if your pet needs a quiet space, that can be provided. We do own one unambitious lump of a cat that charms us with his squinty stares and warm cuddles. When other animals have been in the house, he keeps to my room.

We've had hundreds of foster animals through the years, mostly kittens, puppies, their mommies as well as some rabbits and guinea pigs. Some have required more attention than others. We've administered meds, fed and cleaned plenty of messes, and spent hours just enjoying and playing with them.

Your pet will have loads of games and play with my children and daily walks, or even runs, with me. I am a runner that likes to go between 2-4 miles regularly. There is downtime in the middle of the day when less people are home. Evenings are filled with plenty of cuddles. If it is a kitty, we have a space designated for them as they become accustomed and comfortable to the people and the area. It is quieter, with less traffic.
