Great animals deserve great care!
Since I was a kid, I've always loved animals. Cats, dogs, lizards, birds, fish; I grew up with all of them. It wasn't until I was older that I really made an effort to understand animals. Why do they do the things that they do? What does their body language indicate? What can I do to be the best companion for them? Luckily, this fascination has made me fairly well equipped to care for animals! My philosophy with animal care is based on providing a calm environment for animals to feel safe in. Most animals that I meet enjoy being around me. When I walk with your dog (or cat), you can expect that he/she will be with someone that has the tempo to work their energy out, but also has the patience for a slower pace, if that is what is needed. I have professional experience working in a doggy day care, so home visits are a breeze. Your personal space will be respected, and your pets will be cared for as if they were my own. You can expect communication and photos of stays to the level and frequency that you specify. As an additional benefit, I have worked with Rover on one of their booking teams, so I can provide some technical help if you are new to using the platform, or have questions about how it works. Hopefully, I look like someone that you'd let hang out with your pets, because I sure would like to hang out with them!

David does an amazing job taking care of Max. I’m never worried about the care Max receives when he is with David.
David took great care of my cat Zoomy while my family was out of the country. He provided regular updates and took time and care into introducing his cats to mine to make sure they were all comfortable.
David was very responsive and I'm happy that my kitty Lily got to socialize with other kitties!

A typical day
When I am walking with your dog, we can walk in your neighborhood or at a dog park in the area. It is up to you where you'd like to have us go. With in home care, expect play time, lounge time, and I can help with training if that is something that you are interested in doing.

- It is important that I have a brief overview of a dog's temperament, socialization level, and how he/she does with children or other people.
