About: Hello! I'm Mimi, a former corporate communications professional turned full-time animal nanny. I have been around animals my whole life and previously owned mini dachshunds, Doodles and Wesley. I also grew up with a rescued barn cat who I had a special relationship with. I am very comfortable with both cats and dogs and love working to earn their trust. I am also a horse owner and find that cats and horses have very similar ways of communicating and make you work for their trust and like to test boundaries! I enjoy the challenge of non-verbal communication and I also have special skills in pet massage! No formal massage training but I have learned a lot from having my own dogs and horse. I am extremely responsible and gentle especially as I'm getting to know new animals. Safety and protection for your pet is my number one. I'm very detailed and will follow instructions and preferences for how your pet is cared for. I am available for drop-in potty break visits for cats and dogs, dog walking, as well as over night house sitting for the right clients. I'm excited to be part of the Rover network and connect with neighbors in my surrounding area of SE Aurora and Centennial. I am also open to other south metro areas based on your needs and my schedule/availability. I am doing pet/house sitting full-time and spend most of my free time with my horse in Parker. I enjoy being outdoors especially in the cooler months! I also enjoy doing yoga and spending time with close friends and family. I do not have any pets in my home at this time so I am open to keeping a small dog at my home for boarding - will discuss with clients as needed.

“Thomas was fantastic with our two German Shepherds. He stayed overnight with them for 8 days and walked them as well. They are dog aggressive on walks and he handled them with no problems. He also gave them medication. He followed all the house rules and kept our place looking great! We will definitely be going with Thomas again in the future. His communication was also fantastic! Overall we were so pleased to have Thomas stay with our boys!”

About: Hey there! I’m new to Rover, but definitely not new to dog and cat care! I worked at Earthdog Denver for two years, a local dog daycare in the Baker neighborhood. If your dog comes to daycare or grooming there, I probably already know them! I can also give your dog baths and nail trims. If your cat won’t get too stressed, I can trim their claws too :) If you have other pets (rabbits, hedgehogs, chickens, lizards, etc) I’m comfortable taking care of them, too. I even sit for a miniature horse on occasion. Let me know what kind of animals you need taken care of! I am off work Sat, Suns, and Wednesdays, but I do have most mornings available for quick walks/drop ins. I’m flexible now that I have a car! I cannot care for dogs or cats at my place because I have kitties who wouldn’t appreciate the company! 😅 If you have a caged animal (hedgehog, bird, lizard, etc) I’m more than happy to keep them closed off in my bathroom, or just check in on them at your place if you’d prefer that. My cats have lived with a hedgehog and a gecko so they’re used to small critters.

About: My promise is to love your dog as much I love mine! I can walk with them and not rush. Dogs need to smell the roses ... grass .... their corner ... yes, take it all in! I've only walked my dog and daughter's so I'm relatively new to doggies. A dog will always always see a person's love and heart. I hope you have dog poop bags .... it's a pet peeve of mine. About: I have training experience. I spent a few years showing Labradors and shih tzu's. Our family Golden recently passed away and it is to hard to find a new pet for our family just yet. It is to much commitment for me at this time But my kids really miss having animals around! Dog sitting is something that I think would be fun not only for myself but also for my children. We'd be happy to love on your doggy as much as possible before finally finding our new addition.

About: I recently move to Valencia with my husband and youngest kiddo after spending 3 years in Costa Rica and 3 years in Mexico. We lost our pup a year ago and are devastated without him, and wanted to wait for a new dog until we got settled in our new home. I have tons of experience with very large dogs (60+ kilos) but love the small ones too. I am currently underemployed and have a flexible schedule. I also love early mornings and I really love waking and would love a k-9 companion to explore with. Again, I am super flexible, so I can accommodate almost any schedule our needs. If you dog just need some company during the day, I am happy to hang out, or go for long strolls.
