Professional Care with Lots of Love
Want your pup to stay in a loving home environment, getting plenty of exercise and attention, and enjoying being treated like a member of our family? Looking for a person you can trust as an experienced dog owner, professional dog trainer, and life-long lover of animals of all kinds? I’d love to have your four-legged friend stay with us! I enjoy and look forward to spending time with all of the dogs that I’ve cared for. Your dog will also enjoy spending time with my own pup, Dessa, who is a 3-year-old Catahoula mix. She is always up for playing with dogs of any age or size. We live in a great, quiet, family-oriented neighborhood, and there are several large neighborhood parks and lots of open spaces nearby to explore and play. Your dog will have full indoor/outdoor privileges with 1-2 walks to the park and/or around our neighborhood each day. I care for my 10-year-old daughter and am self-employed, so I will be home with your dog all day, other than occasional errands and client sessions. I work as a professional dog trainer and enjoy caring for several of my clients’ dogs as well as other pups through Rover. I am an active professional member of the national Association of Professional Dog Trainers, as well as a certified trainer evaluator for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Program and Therapy Pets Unlimited. I am personally certified and insured as a professional trainer, in addition to coverage provided through Rover. Since I was a small child, I’ve always felt a powerful bond with and compassion for animals, and I enjoyed growing up with dogs as well as fish, frogs, and butterfly hatcheries. Since then, I’ve worked professionally at the largest animal shelter in Chicago, IL (The Anti-Cruelty Society); as a head dog trainer at Petco; and now in running my own dog training company in Chicago, Houston, Pasadena, and now Denver. I’ve also had wonderful experience volunteering with several dog rescue organizations and an equine therapy program. In short, I love working with dogs and would love to care for and dote on yours!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety for visiting pups is my first priority. Love is a close second! I want your pup to feel safe, happy, and well cared-for while their humans are away. Please let me know what your dog's routine is like, what they like to do, anything they are fearful of or that makes them anxious, and anything else I can do to make their stay better.

Jenny has taken care of my 2 year old pitbull 2 times now and I would use her over and over again. She is always sending photos and updates which I could not be more thankful for since it gives me a peace of mind. She has taken him for walks, and stayed in our house keeping it clean! She goes above and beyond and I am so thankful.
