My experience also include helping a breeder with puppies and mother care. Recently, I pet sat a sick dog whose family had already booked their vacation. I nursed their dog back to health with boiled chicken, nutritional supplements, and gentle comforting. This makes my experience in animal care varied and diverse. I am comfortable with all sizes of pet and breed, as well as many different temperaments. Boarding care is handled by both parties. Most messages are responded to by Mary. Mary does have a standing M-F 3 hour babysitting gig from 1-4, though it often ends early. We try to be flexible and accept most bookings, including emergency last minute bookings. We offer a number of services; however, we do not accepts pets from more than one family at a time during boardings so that we can ensure the utmost attention, care and safety of your furry friends. We live in a large townhouse with a fully fenced backyard, 3 cats who keep mostly to themselves but may befriend gentler dogs and a 6 month old puppy who is generally well behaved and in training. We have no children or other people living in the home. We can create separated spaces if necessary, while still ensuring your furry friend gets the care and attention they deserve, while in a comfortable space for them. Mary is dog and cat CPR/First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. We have experience with animals who have special dietary, medication and medical related needs.

About: I’ve been looking after pets my whole life, dogs, cats, chickens, goats, geese, and even a peacock one time! Right now I have two lil kitties of my own that are the light of my life. I am available at anytime to play with your pups and kitties! I can visit at least two- three times a day to look after your babies! I will do my best to send a picture or fun video every visit for you and your families peace of mind. Please give list of instructions for me if you have specific preferences on how to care for them.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs most of my life and have lived with multiple cat owners as well. I feel like pets like my calm and loving demeanor 😊 I enjoy the flexibility this profession allows and I love the outdoors. If your pet wants a long walk in the sun or just needs to stretch its legs in the backyard I’m down for either! 😁 I feel as though my laid back demeanor is great for working with animals and even the pickiest cats have fallen for me. I’m great at reading the body language of animals and know when they want a belly rub or when they want me to sit six feet away.

“Vizslas are notoriously aloof and skeptical with new people. Moose is also currently in his angsty tween stage. We had a few previous meetings and greets where he decided he wasn’t a good match with the prospective dog walkers. Jordan arrived on time dressed both professionally and appropriately for a first meeting and walk with a high energy dog. She took the time to introduce herself, meet and bond with Moose, and was very easy to get along with and knowledgeable about not only working dogs but also the Rover program itself. She immediately put both myself and moose at ease. She spent time in the back yard playing fetch with him (he tends to make you feel like you’re an automatic tennis ball thrower) and then took him for a nice walk. She quickly learned his hand signals and Dutch and English voice commands. He was very disappointed to see his new friend go and is looking forward to his next adventure with her- as he has been missing his daily runs with me and now has a new awesome exercise buddy! 10/10 would recommend her to anyone!”
