“Thank you! Roger enjoyed his stay! It was nice watching him interact with your dogs and kids! I’m glad they all get along :) we will see you again for Christmas!”

“My chihuahua and I haven't been a part in forever. When my family and I went on a one week trip, I knew I had to find the perfect dog sitter. My dog is picky and I was worried, but she was immediately comfortable at crystals house. She is so kind and attentive, and became best friends with my chihuahua. She was comfortable around everyone in the household and very well taken care of. Will certainly be using her services in the future and am beyond thankful for her and her family. Thank you SO much”

“Awesome people and took care of our boy. Gave us updates and pics and some videos. Very happy with the overall experience. Will book with them again. You don't want to miss out on this couple watching your loved ones. They will be taken care of and spoiled.”

“I want to take this moment to express my immense gratitude to Nuttawadee for the care and attention she showed our little Yobi. We're amazed because she went the extra mile with him...a walk on the beach (which Yobi enjoyed) - Thank you for the bath, it left him feeling like a soft plush. I know our pet enjoyed his stay with Nuttawadee and family this weekend. I'm sure it will be his next stop when we have to travel. Thank you for your care, flexibility (by agreeing to an extra night with Yobi), and commitment. Five stars for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Ms. Beverly has the sweetest spirit. She's very responsive and sent us pictures while we were out of town. I would definitely recommend her. Oreo loves her.🩷”

“Kendra was great with our Rocket. Kept us updated on his days and sent pictures but didn't go overboard with it. I also appreciated her being flexible with the booking ours that needed to change at one point. Would definitely use again if she is available.”

“I usually go with a pet boarding facility but wanted to try something different. Meaghan was very responsive and flexible with my schedule. She welcomed my 2 frenchies with open arms no hesitation. She made me feel more comfortable with her than taking them to a pet paradise.”

“She took Legend at a last minute request with no issues. She kept me updated with messages and photos. Legend was good with her and I will definitely use her again.”

“Gabrielle is very nice. First she was very understanding about my arrival time as the traffic accidents in Georgia added hours to our ride to Florida. She was very attentive to my pets to make them feel at home during their stay. The looked wonderful when I picked them up. She did a great job caring for Barb and Lou.”

“This was our fist time boarding with Chris and his wife and our two pups had a great time! We hope to use them again in the future! Thank you for taking such good care of our babies!”

“My dogs came back HAPPY! Not nervous, angry, shy or desperately trying to get back to me. That never happens. Romi’s is 1000% a place I trust to tell my friends about and I hope more dogs and dog owners get to experience boarding with her.”

“Kristall was the best with our sweet Luigi! She gave him lots of love and attention, walks, and updated us with pics while we were on our trip. Her dog is also very friendly and got a long well with our dog. Would love for her to watch our dogs again in the future!”

“Alyssa was a wonderful sitter! Her home was tidy and set up well for dogs, she sent me tons of pictures each day, and my dog seemed to very relaxed during her stay. Would definitely book with Alyssa again!”

“Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Sanja ... My babies could not be in a better home like yours this past weekend! Your daily photos and updates reassurance once more how devoted you are and what a wonderful person and your family are when taking care of our babies. We will see you again!”

“Randy always has the best time hanging out with his buddy Pepper and the whole family! The daily updates bring me so much comfort, especially when you have a dog with health issues. Thank you for always taking such wonderful care of my baby”

“Therisa was amazing, even though it was my first time using the app she made sure I felt comfortable and at peace by sending lots of pictures and updates about my dogs everyday.”

“Blanca put both Pepper and me at ease immediately. Not only is she knowledgeable, but was friendly, accommodating and responsive. I feel so glad to know my pup was well loved while I was away!”

“Cassandra was amazing with my pup. He is an anxious boy and she took all the steps to ensure he was calm and felt cared for. She sent just the right amount of updates and even returned him with new toys and bones. Happy to have found her!”

“Mariia and her family were excellent! They took such a great care about my little furry friend. Mariia sent me messages and pictures almost every day. I knew he was in good hands. Will definitely book again! ☺️”

“Zarria was very attentive to Quincy. She followed my instructions and took and sent pics every day. When I picked Q up he was happy which meant a lot. I would definitely book her again.”

“Sarah is an absolute gem! We had our regular cat sitter cancel at short notice (less than a week before our holiday!). I frantically went on Rover and found Sarah. I chose her because she had glowing reviews, responded promptly and was very warm during our meet and greet. This was our first holiday away from our cat and for over 2 weeks so I was an anxious mess! During our time away Sarah communicated regularly with us and sent photos everyday and videos too. She really helped to calm my nerves. Our cat is anxious and skittish by nature. She is the sweetest cuddliest bug with us but she wasn’t nice to Sarah at all! There was a lot of hissing, growling and swatting. But Sarah was patient, gentle and persistent with our grumpy gremlin. She had great strategies she employed to keep our cat entertained, fed and content. We returned home to an excited, well fed and happy cat. It’s a testament to Sarah’s skills, temperament and love of animals that our cat was totally unfazed being left alone at home for the first time. I will not hesitate to use Sarah again and recommend her to others. She will be a regular sitter for us now & hopefully our cat will be better behaved in future!”

“Jamilia is a very kind woman who understands Ruby's personality. She helped me clean Ruby's litter box, ensure her water bowls are clean, and spend time with her. She is also very patient with Ruby!”

About: Certainly! Here's a more polished version of your statement: "For the past 18 years, I have devoted myself to caring for cats while managing a pet resort. In addition to providing exceptional care in a professional setting, I also offer in-home services, ensuring that cats receive comfort and attention while their owners are away."

“Our pet sitter went above and beyond every expectation. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and understanding, and it was clear they genuinely cared about our pets. Communication was excellent, and they made us feel completely at ease while we were away. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pets and couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable!”

“Pam was wonderful for my two cats. Very attentive and even picked up after them when they were naughty and broke a glass jar. I would definitely hire again. I loved the pictures she sent as well :)”

“This turned out to be the best service ever. Erika was amazing and I hope she'll become a regular for Scout. I unintentionally became the sole responsible human to a neighbors cat. I believe she's now needing a permanent home. I hadn't planned for this as we are retired and plan to travel. Finally true empty nesters. We kept Scout inside for our first trip with no clue how she'd do, but daily visits were perfect. We have decided to keep Scout. ☺️”

“Denise is a great pet sitter! My cat, Simba, loves her, and therefore I feel good when I leave for a few days. She sends regular updates throughout the stay. I plan my travel around her availability.”

“This was my first time using Rover, and I had a wonderful experience w/ Alison! She treated Starburst as if she were her own, and was flexible, thoughtful, and kind! I’ll be rebooking w/ her in the future.”

“Kevin was very respectful, timely and exceeded expectations. I will definitely look for him on Rover the next time I need help with Kaiya. Thank you, Kevin and thank you Rover for connecting me with him!”

“I chose Meghan as my sitter the first time I used Rover and will always choose her. She is the sweetest, professional, most considerate cat sitter and I trust her completely! The set up was quick, it was easy to communicate my cat Daisy's needs, and Meghan sent check-in cards with photos and info on potty breaks and feedings! The app is user-friendly and smooth and Meghan was quick to respond, and is great with pets and took away any worries I had despite my long trip away. Pick Meghan she is AMAZING! Thank you!!!”

“Ashlyn was amazing! She put up with me and my million instructions (and followed them) and even got my fur baby to come out and talk / play! Definitely will be using her moving forward.”

“I loved Kiah! Very professional. She sent me a detailed update of how my cat was doing during each of her visits with many pictures to go along with it while I was on my out-of-state vacation. I asked her to bring in mail while I was gone and she gladly did that for me as well! My Nola seemed so happy when she was around and I would definitely rebook with her when I’m not in town again.”

I’m the go to pet sitter for friends and family, whether that means house sitting so pups can stay comfy in their own home, taking long walks, or hosting playdates to help burn off extra energy. Since I work from home, your fur baby will get plenty of attention throughout the day. Jazmine's and my daily routine includes regular walks, outdoor time to keep up with neighborhood happenings, and a few fun dance breaks (yes, really!). I understand how important consistency and routine are for pets, so I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal schedule to make their stay as stress free as possible. When you book with me, I promise to care for your dog as if they were my own, and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and videos along the way. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! Pet care is already a seamless part of my daily routine. Since I work from home, I’m able to give dogs consistent attention throughout the day rather than limiting care to mornings and evenings. During work hours, pups are typically with me in my home office or relaxing on the veranda, so they’re never left alone for long periods. Weekend care is just as flexible, allowing time for longer walks, playdates, and extra enrichment as needed. My day naturally includes regular walks, outdoor time to explore and stay engaged with the neighborhood, and interactive play (plus a few fun dance breaks!). I’m very mindful of maintaining each dog’s established routine, including feeding schedules, walk times, and any special care instructions, to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. With a fenced-in yard and a friendly resident pup, dogs in my care get both companionship and a safe space to play. As an avid Rover user myself, I know how important it is to feel comfortable with your sitter and their home. I’d love to set up a meet and greet to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone.

My husband and I own a house with a backyard and lots of space to walk dogs around the neighborhood. “I needed a sitter extremely last minute for Butters (the day camp I originally booked was not able to accommodate him since he’s recovering from TPLO surgery) and Lesley responded ASAP. She was so caring and made sure he was comfortable with plenty of potty walks and pets! She also sent lots of updates and photos of how Butters was settling in. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, calm, loving home-away-from-home place for their pup while away.”

About: What makes me different from other sitters is the genuine love and care I have for animals. I’ve had pets my entire life, from cats to dogs, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Over the years, I’ve also rescued several lost animals and helped reunite them with their owners, which shows how deeply I care about their safety and well-being. I understand that every pet has their own personality, needs, and comfort level, and I always do my best to make them feel safe, loved, and cared for like family. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I’m home all day and have the time and flexibility to give pets the care and attention they deserve. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of love throughout the day. Since I’m home often, pets will have plenty of supervision and won’t be left alone for long periods. When you book with me, you can expect a safe, caring, and comfortable environment where your pet will be treated like family. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved from the moment they arrive. Since I’m home all day, pets will have plenty of supervision, attention, and care throughout the day. I make sure they have regular potty breaks, playtime, fresh water, feeding on their normal schedule, and a calm environment where they can relax. I also understand that every pet is different, so I do my best to follow each owner’s instructions and keep their routine as close to normal as possible. My goal is to make your pet feel at home and cared for like family while you’re away.

About: Big Star Pet Care was started in memorial of our best friend of nearly 10 years, a rescue pitbull who was our Biggest Star. That’s why we give everyone our Big Star Promise— to treat your animals like they are their own Big Star. I've taken care of many animals, from cats & dogs, to rodents, reptiles, birds and more. This makes my experience in animal care varied and diverse. I am comfortable with all sizes of pet and breed, as well as many different temperaments. We are privately insured with pet care professional insurance (including vet coverage)— for the utmost safety of your loved ones, so that you can rest at ease while away. We are always learning new ways to expand what we can offer to our clients. We strive to follow instructions left by the pet owner and always send plenty of photos and updates. I am comfortable giving baths and can administer oral medication if needed. Thank you for considering Big Star Pet Services, I look forward to meeting you and your best friend(s). As a wife and wife team, your care will be carried out by either of us or both of us— but you can ensure top quality care regardless of who is providing it. Walks and drop ins before 8am and after 5pm are often attended by Gabrielle, while housesits are generally carried out by Mary due to Gabrielle’s full time position. Boarding care is handled by both parties. Most messages are responded to by Mary. Mary does have a standing M-F 3 hour babysitting gig from 1-4, though it often ends early. We try to be flexible and accept most bookings, including emergency last minute bookings. We offer a number of services; however, we do not accepts pets from more than one family at a time during boardings so that we can ensure the utmost attention, care and safety of your furry friends. We live in a large townhouse with a fully fenced backyard, 3 cats who keep mostly to themselves but may befriend gentler dogs and a 6 month old puppy who is generally well behaved and in training. We have no children or other people living in the home. We can create separated spaces if necessary, while still ensuring your furry friend gets the care and attention they deserve, while in a comfortable space for them. Mary is dog and cat CPR/First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. We have experience with animals who have special dietary, medication and medical related needs.
“We are so pleased with Meagan! She is very responsive, flexible, and took amazing care of our pup. We got regular updates and we loved seeing videos of how much fun our dog was having with her friendly dogs. Her home is a welcome place for doggy fun and snuggles! Also, she helped us out when we had to cancel at the last minute several weeks ago, even though she took a hit to her review profile. Thank you for everything, Meagan!”

“Absolutely had to give Chyna 5 stars! Rocky was obviously very well taken care of! Chyna kept us updated with messages, pictures, and videos. Rocky got fed on time, played with, and even watched a movie while getting lots of cuddles! We are so happy with Chyna and her services and will most definitely be booking again! She is the best!”

About: What sets me apart from many sitters is my lifelong experience with animals and my ability to genuinely connect with them quickly — especially pets who may be anxious, shy, older, highly attached to their owners, or simply used to lots of companionship and attention. Over the years, I’ve helped care for foster litters of puppies and kittens requiring around-the-clock feeding, monitoring, and weight tracking alongside my best friend, who is a veterinarian. I also have veterinary technician and shelter experience, along with hands-on experience caring for senior pets, administering medications, reinforcing basic puppy training, and supporting animals with special routines, anxieties, or medical needs. I’m currently working with one of my own dogs in service dog training, and I’m also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who previously worked with pre-K children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Both experiences have strengthened my understanding of behavioral reinforcement, nonverbal communication, patience, routine, trust-building, and adapting to different personalities and emotional needs. In many ways, both children and animals communicate heavily through energy, body language, consistency, and feeling emotionally safe, and I’ve found those skills help me connect especially well with animals of all temperaments. I’m also an avid walker and love spending time outdoors, taking long walks through the beautiful Riverside and Avondale neighborhoods, local parks, and nearby green spaces — especially when the weather cools down a bit. For more active dogs, I genuinely enjoy playtime, walks, fetch, and engagement throughout the day, while calmer pets usually find me just as happy to provide cuddles, companionship, and a peaceful environment. Because I operate my design company remotely and on my own schedule, I’m often able to spend extended time in the home providing companionship, supervision, structure, affection, and a calming presence throughout the day and overnight — not just quick drop-ins. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and relaxed while their owners are away. Because I own and operate my own boutique design firm, my schedule is highly flexible and allows me to work remotely from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. I’m also involved in tween mentorship and creative consulting, both of which I manage on my own schedule, making it easy for me to prioritize the needs and routines of the pets in my care. I’m naturally both an early riser and a night owl, so I’m available for early morning feedings and walks, late-night potty breaks, overnight companionship, medication schedules, and pets who simply feel more secure having someone nearby throughout the day and evening. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy the companionship, structure, and calm presence animals bring. Whether I’m working quietly from my laptop while keeping your pet company, taking breaks for walks and playtime, or providing attentive overnight care, I’m able to give pets far more presence and consistency than many traditional sitters with rigid work schedules. Safety, trust, and creating a calm environment are extremely important to me, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have two friendly small dogs and cats of my own, so pets staying in my home should be comfortable around other animals and able to coexist peacefully. Our pets are very much part of the family and are welcome on furniture and beds, so I aim to create a relaxed, loving, home-like environment rather than a kennel atmosphere. I understand that every pet has different comfort levels, routines, and boundaries, and I take introductions, feeding, supervision, and transitions seriously to help everyone feel safe and comfortable. If a pet prefers to be crated or separated at times, I’m happy to accommodate those needs as well. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m highly respectful of routines, security, cleanliness, and household expectations. As a longtime homeowner and business owner myself, I understand the level of trust involved when someone gives access to both their beloved pets and their home. I’m conscientious about alarms, locked doors, medications, feeding schedules, potty routines, cleanliness, and communication. Because I work remotely from home in the Avondale area, I’m also able to provide a high level of flexibility, supervision, companionship, and overnight presence for pets who are used to having someone nearby throughout the day.
“We are so unbelievably grateful for Stephanie. This morning we were dropping our dog off at another persons house for a rover stay over, and it was not a good fit. We had limited time to find a new sitter as we had a wedding to get to. Stephanie responded immediately and took excellent care of our sweet pup. Truly so grateful for her ❤️ thank you for making us feel so comfortable.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, and I started pet sitting as a teenager just wanting to help people out. Over time, I realized how much I genuinely loved this work, and it naturally grew into my full time commitment. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Including seniors and special needs pets who need a little extra patience and comfort. I focus on understanding what each pet needs to feel safe, relaxed, and loved while they’re with me. For boarding, I don’t have a yard, but I make up for it with plenty of walks, park visits, supervised play, and fun treat games with my own pets so everyone stays happy, enriched, and engaged. Pet care is my main job, so it’s a big part of my everyday life. I plan my days around the pets I’m caring for, which keeps my schedule flexible and easy to work with. This lets me give each pet the time and attention they’re used to while staying available for my clients when they need me. I offer pet care both in my home and in your home, always keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. In my home, pets will recieve plenty of attention, playtime, and regular updates. I have a very friendly dog and cat who love new friends to keep your pup company. But if cats aren't your pups style, he has his own section of his house. When I’m in your home, I follow your pet’s usual schedule, handle walks, meals, and give lots of love and interaction. I can also manage small home tasks during housesitting and provide medication if needed.

“Pam is amazing and trustworthy. I used her because I already knew her and knew she was amazing, and was not disappointed. She communicated well, my dog loved her and she made sure my dog, who is a new rescue known for getting loose previously, was safe, secure and well taken care of. 100% recommend Pam. She is respectful, kind and she is calm and confident with dogs. 😊”

“I had a fantastic experience with Karen. She is friendly and calm with my nervous dog Luna, which made a huge difference for her first walk with a new person. I really appreciated how Karen took the time to ask thoughtful questions about Luna's routine, quirks, and comfort level before heading out. It was clear Karen genuinely cares about making the walk a positive experience. Highly recommend!”

“Vizslas are notoriously aloof and skeptical with new people. Moose is also currently in his angsty tween stage. We had a few previous meetings and greets where he decided he wasn’t a good match with the prospective dog walkers. Jordan arrived on time dressed both professionally and appropriately for a first meeting and walk with a high energy dog. She took the time to introduce herself, meet and bond with Moose, and was very easy to get along with and knowledgeable about not only working dogs but also the Rover program itself. She immediately put both myself and moose at ease. She spent time in the back yard playing fetch with him (he tends to make you feel like you’re an automatic tennis ball thrower) and then took him for a nice walk. She quickly learned his hand signals and Dutch and English voice commands. He was very disappointed to see his new friend go and is looking forward to his next adventure with her- as he has been missing his daily runs with me and now has a new awesome exercise buddy! 10/10 would recommend her to anyone!”

“Mr. Scott is wonderful with our fur baby, Jojo. Jojo always looks forward to his evening walks and is already waiting at the door when Mr.Scott arrives. It’s clear how much he cares, and we appreciate the attention and kindness he shows every time. We’re grateful to have someone so reliable and caring looking after Jojo.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals basically my whole life! Everyone in my family comes to me when they need a pet sitter… It has even extended into helping friends. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I sincerely have a passion for animals and taking care of them. I am consistently dog sitting for my grandmother who has 2 dogs and one of them has a serious condition. So, taking care of her is more involved. It includes giving her medication multiple a days, helping her get up on things and sometimes hand feeding her when she needs a little more help. I’m also experienced in watching senior dogs; I have taken care of my aunts 10 year old Chihuahua on multiple occasions. When it comes to breeds, I have a wide range of experience. I have cared for chihuahuas, “teddy bears” (small dogs), pitt bulls and Rottweilers. My schedule right now is completely free. I would be available all days of the week and weekends. I am available at any time of the day! My pets are very spoiled and cared for. They get treats throughout the day and plenty of outside time! Fresh water and food always! I take my dog on daily walks around the neighborhood and he also goes to visit my grandmother’s dogs often.

“Amazing. My dogs fell in love instantly. She heard all my requests, treated my dogs like they were toddlers instead of dogs, and spent time playing with each of them. If me or you need services its wise to book her while you can”

About: Hi there! My name is Kate and my husband's name is Josh. We have both been pet owners our entire lives and absolutely love caring for other pets as well as our own 3 (G + Sadie + Toby — Chihuahua Mix + Rat Terrier + Jack Russel Terrier). We own a home in Jacksonville just off 295 on the west side with a large fenced-in backyard and quiet neighborhood. So lots of walking, running around and play time if you were to have your pet stay here with us and our 3 pups! Our babies are typically social but at the very least tolerant of other dogs as long as the dog is not too hyper or trying to mess with them. My husband and I both work from home so your baby(s) will get non stop attention. We only board small to medium size dogs (less than 30 pounds, some exceptions - feel free to ask). Your dog(s) must get along with other dogs or at least tolerate them. All dogs are separated at feeding times. We are used to serving regular dry, wet, mixtures, raw foods, and administering medications including injectables. With our flexible schedule, we will have plenty of time to walk, play and/or love your pet(s). Our home is extremely safe and doors are always locked (even when we are home). Our neighbors are all extremely nice. Our dogs typically lay on the couch, in their dog beds in our office or on our bed. All get lots of love, pets and treats every day 🙂
About: Big Star Pet Care was started in memorial of our best friend of nearly 10 years, a rescue pitbull who was our Biggest Star.
About: I got my first puppy when I was 8 and have been babysitting my sister's 3 dogs whenever she goes on vacation. I'm experienced in giving extra attention to one of her dogs that needs ointments for his allergies and bathing them when needed. Additionally, I'm comfortable handling various pet care tasks, from feeding and walking to playing and administering medications. My dedication to ensuring pets feel loved and well-cared-for sets me apart. I have three cats and one bunny I play with them 3-4 times a day before I go to work and after and feed them on a schedule every 2 days I administer an ointment medicine onto one of my cats eyes to help with his feline agenesis seeing and caring for them is my favorite part of the day I focus on feeding, exercise, and providing attention. I also handle any medication and grooming needs, making sure they feel safe and loved in their environment.
About: Having dogs my whole life has taught me to cater to each one's unique needs, from diet to exercise. My priority is always making sure they're happy, healthy, and loved! I am currently a full-time student at UCF! I am home until August so I would be happy to help while I’m home. While I'm unable to accommodate dogs in my home, I'm more than happy to provide care through dog walking and drop-in visits, ensuring your furry friend gets the attention and exercise they need.

About: Growing up in a home with multiple dogs taught me how important patience, consistency, and attention are when caring for pets. I’m very comfortable around dogs and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether that means going on walks, playing, or just helping them feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I know every dog is different, and I always try to make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I’ve grown up in a home with multiple cats and dogs. I’m used to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and making sure pets are comfortable and cared for throughout the day. Because I’ve always been around animals, caring for them feels like a normal and easy part of my everyday life. I’m used to living in a multi-pet household, so I pay attention to different needs at the same time. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions carefully by making sure they’re fed on time, getting the exercise and attention they need, and making sure they always have a clean, safe space. I also focus on being calm, patient, and respectful of each pet’s comfort level.

“I couldn’t be happier with Brooke as my pet sitter. She was so caring and responsible and it was clear she treated my pup with affection and kindiness. . She gave me updates, sent pictures and messages each time. She was even thoughtful enough to consider how hot it was and that she would play inside instead of a longer walk.”
