About: Big Star Pet Care was started in memorial of our best friend of nearly 10 years, a rescue pitbull who was our Biggest Star. That’s why we give everyone our Big Star Promise— to treat your animals like they are their own Big Star. I've taken care of many animals, from cats & dogs, to rodents, reptiles, birds and more. This makes my experience in animal care varied and diverse. I am comfortable with all sizes of pet and breed, as well as many different temperaments. We are privately insured with pet care professional insurance (including vet coverage)— for the utmost safety of your loved ones, so that you can rest at ease while away. We are always learning new ways to expand what we can offer to our clients. We strive to follow instructions left by the pet owner and always send plenty of photos and updates. Walks and drop ins before 8am and after 5pm are often attended by Gabrielle, while housesits are generally carried out by Mary due to Gabrielle’s full time position. Boarding care is handled by both parties. Most messages are responded to by Mary. Mary does have a standing M-F 3 hour babysitting gig from 1-4, though it often ends early. We try to be flexible and accept most bookings, including emergency last minute bookings. We offer a number of services; however, we do not accepts pets from more than one family at a time during boardings so that we can ensure the utmost attention, care and safety of your furry friends. We live in a large townhouse with a fully fenced backyard, 3 cats who keep mostly to themselves but may befriend gentler dogs and a 6 month old puppy who is generally well behaved and in training. We have no children or other people living in the home. We can create separated spaces if necessary, while still ensuring your furry friend gets the care and attention they deserve, while in a comfortable space for them. Mary is dog and cat CPR/First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. We have experience with animals who have special dietary, medication and medical related needs.

My experience also include helping a breeder with puppies and mother care. Recently, I pet sat a sick dog whose family had already booked their vacation. I nursed their dog back to health with boiled chicken, nutritional supplements, and gentle comforting. About: I’ve been taking care of animals basically my whole life! Everyone in my family comes to me when they need a pet sitter… It has even extended into helping friends. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I sincerely have a passion for animals and taking care of them. I am consistently dog sitting for my grandmother who has 2 dogs and one of them has a serious condition. So, taking care of her is more involved. It includes giving her medication multiple a days, helping her get up on things and sometimes hand feeding her when she needs a little more help. I’m also experienced in watching senior dogs; I have taken care of my aunts 10 year old Chihuahua on multiple occasions. When it comes to breeds, I have a wide range of experience. I have cared for chihuahuas, “teddy bears” (small dogs), pitt bulls and Rottweilers. My schedule right now is completely free. I would be available all days of the week and weekends. I am available at any time of the day! My pets are very spoiled and cared for. They get treats throughout the day and plenty of outside time! Fresh water and food always! I take my dog on daily walks around the neighborhood and he also goes to visit my grandmother’s dogs often.

About: I've been taking care of pets ever since I was physically able to. From cats to dogs and all sorts of other pets. I've pet sit other people's dogs and cats before and done plenty of walking and house visits. I'm currently not working and going to school but with winter break I have plenty of free time to take care of any pet any time. I have a tall wooden fenced yard with plenty of bowls and toy. About: " I've taken care of puppies and cats since I was little and now I'm working at a vet clinic taking care/bathing the animals and of course giving them so much love. I work full time at a vet clinic from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. usually Monday through friday. Sometimes I work on Saturdays/sundays. Saturdays are from 8am to 6pm and Sundays I do two shifts just to do medications for the animals boarding. I plan to keep your animal or animals safe at my client's house. Make sure they are well fed and clean and give them a lot of time to run around.

About: Hi there! My name is Kate and my husband's name is Josh. We have both been pet owners our entire lives and absolutely love caring for other pets as well as our own 3 (G + Sadie + Toby — Chihuahua Mix + Rat Terrier + Jack Russel Terrier). We own a home in Jacksonville just off 295 on the west side with a large fenced-in backyard and quiet neighborhood. So lots of walking, running around and play time if you were to have your pet stay here with us and our 3 pups! Our babies are typically social but at the very least tolerant of other dogs as long as the dog is not too hyper or trying to mess with them. My husband and I both work from home so your baby(s) will get non stop attention. We only board small to medium size dogs (less than 30 pounds, some exceptions - feel free to ask). Your dog(s) must get along with other dogs or at least tolerate them. All dogs are separated at feeding times. We are used to serving regular dry, wet, mixtures, raw foods, and administering medications including injectables. With our flexible schedule, we will have plenty of time to walk, play and/or love your pet(s). Our home is extremely safe and doors are always locked (even when we are home). Our neighbors are all extremely nice. Our dogs typically lay on the couch, in their dog beds in our office or on our bed. All get lots of love, pets and treats every day 🙂

About: Hi everyone! My name is Carine and I’m super excited to help you with your pet! I’m currently a recent UGA graduate and I love spending time with animals! I’ve personally trained my own puppy to know all the basic commands and pass the STAR puppy test and she is currently working on becoming a therapy dog. I also have one cat that I love dearly.
