About: I have a long experience with dogs as both a dog owner and a dog foster home. I dog sit for friends and family regularly. I am reliable and responsible with pets. I love taking dogs on walks, to the park, and giving attention. A stay in our home will allow for a large fenced in yard and tons of attention. I currently have two friendly and trained dogs in the home that love to play. I am a teacher so have been federal background checked and can be trusted in your home. I have an open schedule in the summer and flexible schedule the remainder of year so your pet will receive a lot of attention from me. Even when working, I am able to stop at home to let the dogs out and give them attention twice per day. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs to keep your pet company. We go on daily walks and play in the backyard. I have experience with dog training and behavior so am able to attune to your pets needs while I care for them.

“Morgen was so great with our Sully!!”

About: Animals have always liked me, even the ones that "don't like people" have magically liked me and I take that as the highest compliment! I've taken care of a wide variety of pets my whole life, so I'd feel comfortable caring for your furry, scaled or feathered friends like they were my own! My day job is taking care of people as a Physician, so I promise to be kind, trustworthy, loving and patient with your fur babies so they get the care they deserve while you're away. I work remotely with plenty of flexibility in my schedule for drop-in visits, walks or longer stays throughout the Grand Rapids area so your pets can be comfortable and well taken care of while you're away. I am happy to follow any specific instructions for your pets to make sure they have exactly what they need to thrive. Beware, I have been known to give too much love, attention and treats to cute pets...so yours may be spoiled if you choose me to take care of them. I will do whatever is needed for your fur babies while you're away. Whether it's walks, playtime, meals, cuddles or trips to the park, I'll make sure they are well taken care of. I will make sure your home is left exactly the way I find it and will treat your space with respect while I'm there.

“Taylor was great! She was perfect for our anxious dog and put him at ease. Both our dogs were exhausted from playing with her when we returned.”

“Molly was a fantastic house sitter! She was so easy to communicate with and was very trustworthy, which is needed when someone else is staying at your house. I always miss my dogs when I’m away but was put at ease knowing Molly and Izzy where there to keep them company and to keep them safe.”

About: ***HOUSE SITTING REQUESTS PLEASE READ BELOW - MY DOG HOUSE SITS WITH ME *** Hey there, thank you for checking out my page! My name is Joie, I am 24 and I have a huge heart for animals. I just graduated from Grand Valley State University for Wildlife Biology and Natural Resources Management. I have always loved animals since I was a kid, and now I have a dog and a cat of my own. I started dog sitting before Rover for friends and neighbors and since then I have loved the job and wanted to help others in the community! I have always been super involved with animals, I have lots of volunteering under my belt at John Ball Zoo and through GV's Pre-Vet club. I've also previously worked hands on with hundreds of patients at two vet offices. I'd love to hang out with your pets, play, cuddle and pose for photos! (Check out my posted photos to get an idea of the pics you’d receive if you booked with me!) If you're interested in booking with me, just know that I'm working full-time, but as long as we stay in communication, we can work out a plan that suits both of us. I try to be as flexible, reliable, and dedicated to providing the best care for your pets as I can be. *** HOUSE SITTING DISCLAIMER *** I want to be as transparent as possible about my house sitting services. Since I have my own dog, she will be coming with me for this service. This might not make me the best fit for every household, especially if there are pets or people who might not be comfortable with another dog in the space. I always prioritize the comfort and well-being of your home and pets, so if this arrangement isn’t ideal, I completely understand. Rosie is a 5yo, 50lb high-energy dog who is trained and has been well-socialized at dog parks and helping me with house sitting. She loves to play and also does great around cats. If you’re interested, we can arrange a meet-and-greet to ensure everyone gets along. Pet care is second nature to me and is a part of my and my animals' everyday life. Once I learn your pet's routine, each visit will flow even more smoothly than the last! I like to make sure that both the pets and the owner know that they are in good hands. Good communication is key! It definitely helps the stay go smoothly.

“I booked Emerson on short notice and she did a great job with my cats. I was worried leaving my cats over the holiday but they were in good hands with Emerson. She spent time and provided pictures during the booking. I appreciate her assistance and will use her again in the future.”

“Taylor was amazing with our pups! We have two larger dogs who love to wrestle with each other as much as they love to snuggle. Taylor didn’t seem phased by their excitability or rough-and-tumble play with each other. She watched them while we were away for a week and they seemed to not be bothered by our absence in the photos she sent! Taylor asked a lot of questions about our dogs during the meet and great to make sure she would be able to care for them. Her communication was great and we would definitely book her again.”

“Fabulous care of Max, as always. I will continue to book Kate as she sends lots of updates, leaves the place spotless and Max enjoys her visits.”

“Michelle was great! I needed a sitter at the last minute and Michelle was able to help out. She kept us up to date while we were gone and sent pictures. She was a wonderful house guest as well. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve been talking care of dogs and cats for about 3-4 years, I lived with pets for awhile also. I’ll take care of them like they are mine. I'm a full-time pet sitter. I can watch cats and dogs around 6 am-midnight Monday Through Friday. On weekends I can be flexible to what time you need I have a spacious yard that your dogs will love. I can take them around my neighborhood where they can get meet new playmates and have fun. I will even take them to an open field, where we can enjoy activities such as fetch and tug of war.

“Super sweet with my puppy, arrived on time and was really flexible with me. Cannot recommend enough!”

About: I love RUNNING with dogs! This is such a fun way to give active dogs exercise and get their energy out. Dogs love it just as much as I do! We'll do a warm up walk, run based on their ability/experience, water break, and then a cool down walk. I also love pet sitting, especially cats. For dog runs, I prefer morning activity between 8am - 11am. My pet sitting schedule is flexible and sporadic. NE side preferred for drop-ins. More flexible for in-home stays. I have two cats who are loved and cared for! My lifestyle doesn't work well to have a dog of my own, which is why I appreciate any chance I can get to spend time with others' dogs. I treat my client's pets as if they're my own, giving them the love and care they deserve!
