“Xinia has been a blessing in my life! Bingo is so lucky to have an amazing walker that goes out of her way to ensure my bingo is well taken care of and most importantly she makes sure my bingo is loved! Xinia has been very patient with my bingo as it takes her time to trust new people, but Xinia has done and outstanding job being patient & caring towards her. I would recommend her to anybody that’s looking for a a sitter, or a walker! 12/10 from me!”

About: What sets me apart is how personally I care for the pets I look after. I have three beloved cats back home in Brazil, and I’ve also had three dogs and another cat who were part of my life and are now in my heart. Being around animals makes me feel happier and helps ease the homesickness I feel being away from my own. I treat every pet as if they were mine — with patience, kindness, and full attention to their needs. Whether it's giving medication, helping with a bath, or just making sure they get the love and playtime they deserve, I’m always present and gentle. Animals bring me peace, and I make sure they feel safe, cared for, and understood while you're away. I’m a PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota, and my schedule is very flexible. I often work from home either all day or part of the day. That means I can easily fit pet care into my routine, whether it’s staying with your pet, stopping by for visits, or going on walks. I live in a one-bedroom apartment, so to make sure pets get plenty of exercise and stimulation, I take dogs on frequent walks and spend quality indoor playtime with any cats I’m caring for at home. I create a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether in your home or mine, I focus on giving each pet the attention and care they need, adapting to their routines and personalities to keep them happy.

“Robert was great to work with. He and Waffle got along really well. Robert took the time to do a meet and greet and visit before the first walk, even on a short notice. Robert has been flexible and accommodating with his schedule to meet our needs. After the walk, he sent us detailed comments and photos of their walk. I plan on continuing to work with him on an ongoing basis. I feel like Waffle is in good hands!”

“Another successful rock with Ashley. She is the best, loves animals and appears very knowledgeable about dogs and cats. Have you used her numerous times and will continue to use her as needed”

About: I grew up with rescue cats and dogs. My family has adopted puppies, behaviorally challenging, and senior dogs! I am a veterinarian (currently in the wildlife field) who does not have pets of her own, but would love to take care of yours! I work full-time, 40-50 hours a week. My schedule varies so I may have one week with weekdays off and the next with weekends. My start times also vary, with potential for walks in the mornings. I have a fenced area to walk dogs outside of my apartment building, but am also happy to stay at your place if that is more comfortable for your pet.

“My cattle dog is still learning domestic skills, and he got confused and challenged Cindy at the door. She is so amazing at keeping it calm and positive; he got right back to being a good boy, thanks to her encouragement. So grateful to have the help teaching my pup how to get along with the world.”

“Phoebe has a 6th sense about what dogs need I think. She was terrific with our bashful Abby, being able to adapt to Abby only wanting to take a short walk and instead spending the rest of the walk time giving Abby extra love and belly rubs. We will definitely will call on Phoebe again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies since I was little. I treat them all like my own. If your animal has been requests I can accommodate. I work from home at night time so any time works for me since I have a yard for them to play and live life I have a fenced in yard and I don’t mind hosting them in my own or going to the clients home to assist the animals

About: Hi there! I’m Macy, a veterinary student at the University of Minnesota with over 8 years of hands-on experience working with animals. I’m passionate about what I do and truly love spending time with pets of all shapes and sizes! As a future vet, I bring a deeper understanding of animal behavior, health, and safety to every walk or visit. Whether your dog is young and full of energy or older and needs a little extra care, I’ve got the knowledge and experience to keep them happy and comfortable. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes—including strong pups over 70 pounds—and I’m happy to walk multiple dogs or visit as often as needed for walks, feeding, or check-ins. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priorities, and I’ll always treat them like one of my own. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! As a veterinary student, my schedule can vary throughout the school year—some weeks are busier, while others are more open. That said, I’m often able to work pet care into my routine between classes and clinicals. During the summer, my schedule is much more open, and I have lots of availability for walks, drop-ins, or extended care. I’m happy to be flexible and do my best to accommodate each pet’s needs! As a veterinary student with years of experience working in veterinary clinics, I have the knowledge and training to care for pets in a variety of situations and ensure their safety and well-being during drop-in visits and walks. Whether I’m stopping by your home to feed, check in, or take your dog for a walk, I always prioritize your pet’s comfort, health, and happiness. I’m confident handling pets of all sizes and temperaments and can provide extra attention or care as needed—especially for pets with medical needs or special routines. I aim to make each visit a positive experience, offering reliable, loving care while you’re away.

“Gretchen is the best! She accommodates our last minute requests, is flexible with our schedule and takes such good care of our dog, Ruby. Ruby is very high energy and she always comes back tired and happy from her walks with Gretchen. She loves loves loves her time with Gretchen and our lives have become simpler knowing we have a great option to come be with Ruby.”

About: Ever since I can remember I’ve had animals around me, giving them all the love and spoiling them just a little too much. I am guilty of liking animals slightly more than humans and have always had an extra soft spot for cats but i also love dogs and will make sure they always have their tail wagging❣️ My schedule is very flexible which makes being a pet sitter the perfect side job for me, except I really don’t consider it a job because I enjoy it so much :) 2 of my favorite things ever are animals and nature so the fact there is a job for this is amazing 🌸 so excited to meet your fur baby I will make sure your fur baby is well taken care of by making sure they are on a safe path while walking, on a reliable leash, treats in pocket to reward good behavior, and poo bags to stay respectful of others. As for cat sitting, I literally do not get tired of giving kitties attention and snuggles, keeping their food as full as you want and litter box thoroughly clean while you’re away. I’m adaptable to doing any extra care your cat needs.

Como dog parents share their Rover experiences
Claudia did a great job walking my lab, Cleo, while I was out of town! She is very prompt with any communication. She always sent photos from the walks, and the map of the walks; and let me know how Cleo was doing. I felt very assured that Cleo was in excellent hands. Claudia is experienced and was sensitive to Cleo’s needs!

I hired Madeline for several walks for my one year old golden retriever. She always showed up on time and wrote a detailed rover card. She was absolutely amazing caring for him and getting him out for walks. She was very thorough in his care, always refilling his water bowl and being conscientious of the hot temps outside. Would highly recommend. Thank you!!

Ashley is absolutely fantastic. My regular dog walker had to drop out on me twice in four days at the last minute and she was able to step in. She arrived on time and she’s really good with my dog. Always comes with treats! I would use her again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, Ashley!

Michelle has been walking our dog, Teddy weekly for the past few months and does a great job with him. He really looks forward to seeing her and she sends us pictures and updates on how things went! We are so grateful we found Michelle to help us out during this time in our lives. Thanks for loving our fur baby! 🩷

Siri was fantastic with my two labs. She showed up on time, took them for a long walk and returned back exactly as we asked. The girls loved her and have found a new friend. We have already booked her for another week. Highly recommend Siri to care for your animals.

Patrick has been dog walking for me for a few months, and I couldn’t be happier. He is so caring and thoughtful, and always makes sure he gets a good walk. He goes the extra mile and communicates really well. Couldn’t ask for a better dog walker when I’m at work.
