“Christine is amazing! She is punctual, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She was able to accommodate my last-minute request while I was in town visiting family and unexpectedly needed someone to care for my dog. I’m always nervous about leaving my dogs with someone new, but Christine immediately put my mind at ease. It was clear that she genuinely cared for my dog and treated him like one of her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

“Dean was great and made sure Ember was taken care of. He even cleaned up some messes Ember made which I appreciate a lot. Ember acted like she she already knew him and loved having him around.”

“Danni went over and beyond my expectations and really put my mind at ease knowing my pup was in great hands while I was away for a weekend. My pup immediately warmed up to her and she did extra drop ins when she was in the area. Sends lots of pictures and videos. Highly recommend!!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Sophia! She came twice a day to check on our dog, Loki, and was always punctual, attentive, and communicative. Loki is usually very timid around new people, but he warmed up to her almost immediately, which speaks volumes about how caring and trustworthy she is. It gave us great peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I would definitely recommend her for daily check-ins, pet sitting, or any pet care needs!”

“Soleil did a wonderful job caring for my dogs! From the moment we met, it was clear that she genuinely loves animals and knows how to make them feel comfortable. My dogs were relaxed and happy when I got home, which says a lot about the quality of care they received. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow your pet’s routine closely to keep them comfortable and stress-free.
About: I have raised a handful of puppies, making them great companions. Each of our dogs lived to be around 14-15 years old and enjoyed every second with me and my family. Whether I had to monitor them post surgeries, or senior care, I always made sure they got the care, medicine and love they required. I work early morning shifts M-F. I typically I may wake up around 1-4am, and work from home for the first few hours of my shift. I finish out the rest of my 8 hour shift at the office, return home for a quick meal, go to the gym, and spend the rest of the night at home! I would love an excuse to go out for frequent walks with a dog while I am home. I do not mind if my car gets dirty from taking them out to a park for a longer walk rather than their usual potty breaks you may give! For cats or dogs, they will have plenty of room to relax and rest wherever they please. I keep a neat and tidy apartment, so there won’t be much they can get into to mess with!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
