“Jack and his family picked up Lucy and they were on-time coming and going. We will use Jack again. Lucy came back just as happy as she was before she left. Jack's son bonded with Lucy and threw her ball often. We appreciate the care given to Lucy. Definitely 5 stars!”

“Buster's stay with Karen was wonderful. Karen treats Buster like part of her pack. Her home is immaculate and Buster runs with her dogs which he loves. Karen also updates me with pictures of Buster . I couldn't ask for a better person to leave Buster with overnight.”

“She does a great job with Nova. Some people are not familiar or comfortable taking on a Belgian Malinois but Kaitlyn doesn’t bat an eye. I appreciate that she looks after my girl like she’s part of the family. ❤️”

“Izzy has visited many Rovers, and Amber was the best! Izzy can be quirky with new friends, but Izzy loved Amber right away and we could tell she was so comfortable with her house, her pack, and her care. Amber sent lots of updates and treated Izzy as one of her own. We only wish we were local so Izzy could go to Amber's any time we travel.”

“Highly highly recommend Jody! Jody and her husband were absolutely fantastic and more than we could have asked for. This was our first time using Rover so we were a little nervous with the experience but Jody made us feel assured from the moment we met her. Our girl spent 6 nights and Jody was great with providing pictures and updates each day. You can tell she truly cares about dogs and wants to make them feel comfortable and like at home. If you are hesitant, you can feel comfortable with Jody! We look forward to bringing back our dog for another visit.”

“Molly and her family are simply amazing! She provided regular updates on Maverick and there was never a time where I questioned the care of Mav. They went above and beyond in keeping him occupied and entertained throughout the entirety of his stay. Overall great experience and I will definitely look to bring mav back for another stay! Thank you all!”

“My dog really loves going to Caroline’s for doggy daycare and boarding. He is very attached to me but he gets along so well with her shepherd and feels like he’s at home when he’s there. Thanks Caroline”

“Keanna was fantastic, reliable and very communicative.. She kept me posted daily with video's and pictures. My dog came back happy and healthy. We will definitely recommend.”

“We are so glad we connected with your family, Jaime! It was a big relief to know Jack was being loved on all week! We appreciated all the pictures and updates!! Thank you, thank you!”

“Tanya and her family were perfect for our high energy 5 month old puppy. She sent me photos ND reports on how he was doing while at her place. He was happy, played and came home tired. We recommend Tanya.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life (50 years). I am a registered nurse and work from home. I have 1 dog of my own, Bailey, 6 year old Shih tzu. She loves to play and make new friends! I work from home and take my dog out to potty and walk every 2-3 hours. Your dogs will be welcome inside during the day, and supervised when in the back yard. I do have to limit my in home boarding to hypoallergenic dogs due to allergies. My yard is fenced. I always supervise my dog while outside, and always on leashes while in front and on walks. Your fur babies would be my fur babies… I’d love them as my own.
“I was very nervous about leaving Zorro with someone other than a family member. Steve was very kind and thoughtful. He suggested we meet ahead of time, so he could get to know Zorro. I was very happy with the attention and care that Steve provided. He was thoughtful and I could tell that Zorro loved being there. Steve sent me videos of Zorro playing to reassure me that all was well. I highly recommend Steve to others and I will definitely take Zorro back in the future.”

“100% recommend Katie! I did not have to reach out to her to be sending me photos of my girls she was already doing it multiple times throughout the days🥰🥰 Every photo/Video received the girls looked so happy and comfortable. ✨”

“Coal had a great time with you and your other pets. When we got home today and he jumped out of the car he seemed disappointed that he was back at home. Obviously played enough cause he’s a tired pup. Sorry that he was such a pest with toys. Unfortunately he will not settle down until all the toys are put away. He can be pretty chill. Highly recommend Betsy as she really understands what our fur babies need”

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
