“My dog Abby LOVES going to Weston's house! She loves Weston and all visiting with all her other dog friends. Weston is super friendly and flexible and he obviously loves dogs. I highly recommend Weston!”

“Kelly was fantastic! You can tell she is an animal lover. Her facility (home) was perfect for feeding, exercise and sleep for our pup. She sent us pictures every day & let us know how things were going. We will definitely use her services again.”

“This is the first time I have ever left pets with a sitter so I may have overwhelmed Jack with detailed instructions. When I dropped off my two dogs they took to both Jack and his family immediately. Gee, I thought they may not want to leave. Just kidding. He sent timely photos and that was reassuring. Would I book again? Definitely. Thanks Jack.”

“Kaitlyn is very experienced with taking care of animals. She is very loving. My dog Abby had a great time staying at her house and snuggling with her daughter. Definitely recommend.”

“I always take my girl Luna with me when I travel and find a nearby Rover sitter for her for the days she cannot be with me. On this trip, Luna stayed three days and nights at Karen's home. Every Rover sitter we have had has been wonderful. Got to say though that Karen, Richard, and their three dogs Jack, Libby, and Red were TOPS! Luna had a wonderful time. I can’t imagine a more welcoming and caring home away from home. We are on our way home now, checked in at a motel at the halfway point. Luna is stretched out and at total peace with her pleasant memories of the past three days and nights.”

“Amber was wonderful with my two young, Australian Shepherds! She sent pictures and videos throughout my work trip and kept me up to date! They even slept in the bed with her!! I’m so thankful to have her for all my future travel!”

“Slam has the BEST time with Molly and her family! We left him in Molly’s care for 10 days while we traveled out of the area. We only recently adopted Slam - so we were a little nervous about leaving him (and for so long) - but he had a blast! It was immediately obvious to us that Molly loves dogs - and treated Slam like one of her own. We received daily pics, videos and updates. I will absolutely leave Slam with Molly again - and can’t recommend her strongly enough. Thank you, Molly!”

“10/10 recommend! My dog absolutely LOVED Caroline’s place and could clearly see that by all the smiles in every picture. As soon as we got in the car was already sleeping from so much play time.”
“Highly highly recommend Jody! Jody and her husband were absolutely fantastic and more than we could have asked for. This was our first time using Rover so we were a little nervous with the experience but Jody made us feel assured from the moment we met her. Our girl spent 6 nights and Jody was great with providing pictures and updates each day. You can tell she truly cares about dogs and wants to make them feel comfortable and like at home. If you are hesitant, you can feel comfortable with Jody! We look forward to bringing back our dog for another visit.”

“Yalda was great with both of our dogs. She provided daily updates and cared for babies as if they were her own. Our Goldie is 100% blind and partially deaf, but we felt very comfortable leaving her with Yalda and hope to use her again if the need arrises. She was fantastic!”

“Jamie and family took EXCELLENT care of our Stella :) Jamie saved Christmas as she was able to watch Stella after a different sitter cancelled last minute before our trip out of town (read: day before flight). She sent pictures of Stella throughout the stay and we could tell Stella felt right at home. Will absolutely be booking again and highly recommend!”

“Keanna was fantastic, reliable and very communicative.. She kept me posted daily with video's and pictures. My dog came back happy and healthy. We will definitely recommend.”

“Katie was so sweet, and I know my sweet boy was in great hands. The pictures she sent was proof that he was comfortable and happy because he doesn't let just anyone rub his ears and play chase. I'm so glad we found her and will definitely be using her again.”

“This is our 1st time leaving our dog when we went out of town. Sarah was absolutely AMAZING she sent pictures and videos of our pup. She took care of Rory as if it was her own dog. I would definitely leave our dog with Sarah again.”

“I was very nervous about leaving Zorro with someone other than a family member. Steve was very kind and thoughtful. He suggested we meet ahead of time, so he could get to know Zorro. I was very happy with the attention and care that Steve provided. He was thoughtful and I could tell that Zorro loved being there. Steve sent me videos of Zorro playing to reassure me that all was well. I highly recommend Steve to others and I will definitely take Zorro back in the future.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life (50 years). I am a registered nurse and work from home. I have 1 dog of my own, Bailey, 6 year old Shih tzu. She loves to play and make new friends! I work from home and take my dog out to potty and walk every 2-3 hours. Your dogs will be welcome inside during the day, and supervised when in the back yard. I do have to limit my in home boarding to hypoallergenic dogs due to allergies. My yard is fenced. I always supervise my dog while outside, and always on leashes while in front and on walks. Your fur babies would be my fur babies… I’d love them as my own.
“Tanya was available on very short notice and she sent pictures and videos of her. She kept us updated and was very flexible with drop off and pick up times as well. I would highly recommend!”

“Omg, what a find! Betsey provided phenomenal care for my 2 girls. Betsey has a great backyard and even took them on a walk. Definitely will ask Betsey to provide care again.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
