“Aubrey was amazing with our dog! He looked so happy in all of the picture updates we got from every drop in, and she was very communicative throughout the stay. Would highly recommend her care for your needs!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my entire life and have always been passionate about caring for animals. Throughout high school, I regularly dog sat and walked dogs for neighbors, friends, and family during weekends and vacations. I have experience caring for animals of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I’m dependable, patient, attentive to routines, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I work full time during the day, but I dedicate my mornings, evenings, and weekends to pet care. I’m reliable, flexible, and always make time to ensure pets get the attention, exercise, playtime, and care they deserve. Since I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, caring for animals has always been a natural part of my routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, walks, and any special instructions to make sure your pet feels secure and cared for. Having grown up with dogs my whole life and with years of pet sitting experience, I’m comfortable caring of animals with different personalities, energy levels, and needs while creating a calm, trustworthy environment.
About: I took a very active role in caring for my family dog until he tragically passed from cancer in 2019. I have also dog-sat for neighbors’ pets with particular dietary needs. Currently, I’ve been told by roommates that I have a very calming presence with our house dog. I work part time primarily in the evenings and when not working, I often have community theater rehearsals on weeknights. During the Mizzou school year I will have some classes during the day, though for no more than a few hours at a time. My current house is not available for pet boarding unless specifically negotiated. The property has a non-fenced yard and one resident dog, who does behave well with other animals. Neighborhood is safe, well-paved, and walkable.
“Grace was wonderful! When we met she was super nice and very thorough with making sure we had all bases covered for the visits. Our dogs loved her and we absolutely loved her extensive and descriptive notes did the visits!”

About: I grew up in the country where we were no stranger to dumped animals. I would clean up and care for them until we found them a forever home. I have also worked in a pet boarding facility where I cleaned, fed, and provided enrichment for over 150 dogs a day. I have a very open and flexible schedule that allows me to be there for your pets. I have the time to get to know your pet in order for them to feel safe and comfortable while you’re gone. I am very strict when it comes to following a pets schedule. I know they are too. I plan to keep your home feeling like you never left for your pets.
“Dylan saved the day when my friend needed to cancel cat sitting due to a death in her family. Dylan is very personable and did a great job with communication. He even won over Pimms, who is very standoffish especially with men. Recommended and will definitely use him in the future”

“Emilia did a wonderful job! She asked a lot of questions early on and made sure to understand my cat’s needs. I received pictures each day and felt like my cat was in good hands. Emilia was also quick to respond to my own questions and clarifications.”

“Ashlyn did a great job of keeping us informed of how our cats were doing. We appreciate that she took care of our guys despite a family emergency. Ashlyn came highly recommended, and now we can recommend her, too.”

About: Hi! I’m a veterinary assistant with 3 years of experience in small animal practice and a current veterinary student at the University of Missouri. I have cared for dogs and cats my entire life and currently have one dog and four cats of my own. I also have experience caring for other small pets, including owning guinea pigs for 9 years and maintaining freshwater aquariums for the past 3 years. Through my work in veterinary clinics, I have experience administering a wide variety of medications, including oral medications, topical medications, eye and ear medications, inhalers, insulin, and other injections. I’m also comfortable caring for senior pets, pets with chronic medical conditions, and those recovering from illness or surgery. I have experience working with fearful, shy, anxious, and reactive pets and understand that every animal has different needs. My goal is to create a calm, low-stress environment while respecting each pet’s comfort level and routine. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets while you’re away. My goal is to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are in experienced, caring hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! As a full-time veterinary student, my schedule is structured and consistent throughout the week. I’m generally available for morning and evening visits every day, with additional midday availability on most weekdays depending on the location. My availability may vary slightly during exam weeks, but I will always communicate any scheduling limitations in advance. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s specific care schedule and will do my best to accommodate recurring visits or medication schedules. I provide care in your home so your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. During each visit, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, bathroom breaks or litter box cleaning, exercise or playtime, and plenty of attention and affection based on their individual personality and comfort level. I understand that every pet is different. Some love to play and cuddle, while others prefer a quiet presence and a consistent routine. I take the time to get to know each pet and adjust my approach to help them feel safe and comfortable. With my background as a veterinary assistant, I’m also comfortable administering medications, monitoring for changes in behavior or health, and caring for senior pets or those with special medical needs. My priority is to provide dependable, compassionate care so you can feel confident your pets are in good hands while you’re away. At this time, I am only able to provide care in clients’ homes and cannot offer boarding or daycare in my own home.

I currently work a full-time job during the week (9-5), but ready and willing to make time during my weekends to care for furry friends! “Victoria took great care of Delilah when she was sick. She provided in depth updates and had no problem helping Delilah’s medication on track while I was away. I would absolutely book with Victoria again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of two very stubborn cats since I was little, and recently got one of my own. She’s also a bit of a handful, but I love her dearly and have greatly appreciated being her human. Aside from this, I’ve taken care of several really old dogs with good care. The good thing about me is I’m almost entirely flexible! Need me for night stays, I’m there. Need check ins throughout the day, I’m there! I have little tying me down and am happy to help out. I always take care to ensure my apartment is completely safe for my cat Sarah; I always double check the door is locked tight before leaving. I’ll be supervising your pet the entire time, monitoring carefully and attending to their needs.

About: I have grown up with dogs in the home my entire life and adopted my own the first chance I was able to provide a stable environment. I often take care of my parents' 3 dogs in addition to my own! I currently work full time during the week but have plenty of time of the weekends to go for walks and/or host your furry family when they are unable to tag along with you! I have a very friendly 3 year old lab mix that is able to keep your dog entertained during stays or walks. I live in a complex with a large trail surrounding and dog park to offer plenty of exercise and socialization as well!
“Jennie was awesome! She sent lots of pictures and her interactions with our pets was great! Communication was very easy and she was quick to respond to any questions I had. I will definitely book with Jennie again when needed!”

I’m pretty flexible on the weekends + afternoons on Wednesday, Thursdays, or Fridays! Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Columbia
We had a tough situation where we needed to leave our senior dog with advanced cancer over a weekend. Ray was willing to take care of him, knowing that it would be a challenge, and he did a fantastic job. He administered pills 2x per day, changed dog diapers, cleaned up accidents, and followed feeding instructions. He communicated well and provided pictures of Darwin at every visit. I highly recommend.

I was a bit nervous as this was my first time using Rover. My dogs had not been left in the care of someone they didn't already know well before. Scout took great care of them. One of my senior dogs has started to struggle with accidents. Harmony had an accident and Scout notified me immediately and took care of it.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
