About: I’ve taken care of friends dogs, family members dogs, and even volunteered at an animal shelter and was taking care of different animals there. I am currently employed at equine medical where I take care of horses. I myself have 2 cats and a dog that I love so much. I am currently employed and a student at Stephens College. I will not be available till after 5. Weekends are available though! I would prioritize your pets like i do mine. I take my dog on multiple walks a day and he would love another friend to walk with him, or even play with him at my house or your house/ apartment.

“Josie was really easy to work with. She even helped out my mind at ease by coming over and meeting my dogs before the actual day check to make sure it was a good fit. She provided pics and updates during the check in! I would rebook her for sure.”

“We were so happy to be able to use Alisa again! She does a great job, is so thoughtful and was able to accommodate us for a last minute trip! We appreciate being able to trust Alisa to take care of our fur babies inside of our home! Thank you so much!!”

“Karen spent an hour with my kitties with late notice and was amazing! She was friendly, her communication was good, and she took good care of my cats while I was away! I would book with her again!”

“Thank you so much Lydia!! Lydia came for a meet and greet before taking care of Luna, my cat. She was so sweet and supportive, I felt at ease while away on my trip. She sent plenty of pictures and updates! Will definitely book again for any other trips :)”

“Adri did a great job watching our cat. They sent pictures and updates so we knew the cat was being taken care of dependably. I would be happy to hire Adri again in the future.”

“Ellie was amazing. She played with our energetic Border Collie so much and gave the cats lovies! Plus with every card, she attached multiple photos per visit. She gave meds, feedings, and everything was in order upon our return. Will rebook!”

“Macklyn was wonderful. She took great care of my pets. When I contacted her before her visit about one of my dogs experiencing a health issue, she sat with him and and kept me updated. She sent me pictures, and videos so, that I could share with the vet to book an, appt as soon as I got back.”

“Scout took great care of our cat while we were on vacation. We had no concerns while we were away because we knew she was being cared for. Will definitely contact Scout again if visits are needed.”

“Rebecca took amazing care of my two cats. She kept their food bowls filled and their water fountain and litter boxes clean. She tried to connect with my cats in several different ways, but ultimately gave them the space that they needed so they didn’t feel extra nervous or threatened. She kept me updated with texts and photos. I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

About: Hey! I was lucky enough to have my beagle as my best friend for 14 wonderful years, so I know firsthand that dogs aren't "just pets"—they're family (and occasionally tiny, furry vacuum cleaners). I also have experience through Rover, even though this is a brand-new profile. My goal is simple: treat every dog like they're part of my own pack. I'll make sure they get plenty of love, belly rubs (if they're into that), and attention so you can relax knowing they're in good paws. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pup the attention they deserve. While I can't offer boarding because I have a roommate, I'm happy to provide reliable house sitting. Whether your dog loves long walks, endless games of fetch, or just wants someone to hang out with while you're away, I'm happy to help. I can administer oral medications (pills and tablets), make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, and keep you updated with photos and messages while you're away. The only thing I don't offer is injectable medications. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else's care. I'll follow your pet's routine as closely as possible. you can expect regular updates, photos, and honest communication throughout.
“Dylan saved the day when my friend needed to cancel cat sitting due to a death in her family. Dylan is very personable and did a great job with communication. He even won over Pimms, who is very standoffish especially with men. Recommended and will definitely use him in the future”

“Martina was excellent! She took great care of my dog and cat, checked in diligently with pictures and details of each visit, and always responded promptly. Martina will be my first contact the next time my pets need care!”

Hailea did a great job with our kitties. One of our kitties loves attention and she was sure to offer it. The other was not as kind and Hailea respected his personal space. She sent photos of both kitties and shared their temperament during her visits. We don't go out of town often, but when we do, we will be requesting her again!

We had a tough situation where we needed to leave our senior dog with advanced cancer over a weekend. Ray was willing to take care of him, knowing that it would be a challenge, and he did a fantastic job. He administered pills 2x per day, changed dog diapers, cleaned up accidents, and followed feeding instructions. He communicated well and provided pictures of Darwin at every visit. I highly recommend.

Taylor was amazing with my kitties. I really enjoyed her updates and pictures during her check-ins. She made sure they played, and stayed fed and watered while I was away. I had normal mom anxiety, but Taylor helped to ease any extra by being professional and easy to communicate with. The kitties looked happy to play during her visits. Would choose again. Thanks, Taylor!

Ellie was super kind and helpful! She was very quick to understand everything needed to take care of my cat tooni :) She sent many pictures/amazing updates and was very quick to respond so I never worried about anything. Tooni’s usually shy but she seemed to open up to her right away! She also helped me out with some additional things I asked about while I was away. She’s super cool, book herrr ☺️

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
