I’m super flexible when it comes to petcare arrangements. I have three pets of my own, but can offer boarding for fully vaccinated animals. If your pet is friendly and comfortable, I’m happy to let them socialize if you’d like, but I can also arrange a separate, private bedroom when boarding to keep your pet isolated if needed. I work remotely, so I’m home all day to keep your pet company.

A typical day
Every day looks a little different because I tailor my routine to match each pet’s unique needs. Some dogs love long walks and lots of play, while others prefer to have a calm and quiet companion, and I’m more than happy to do either or anything in between!

Pet care experience
I’ve had pets my whole life and my world has always revolved around them. I have a 14-year-old Shiba Inu named Ginger, a 2-year-old cat named Frankie, and a 6-month-old kitten named Theo who I love more than anything. I have experience with animals of all ages, from puppies and kittens to seniors. I know how stressful it is for pets and parents when you have to leave town, but I’m dedicated to doing whatever I can to keep your pets happy and comfortable in your absence.

Alexis was incredibly professional, friendly, and caring throughout the entire time we were away. Both of our cats warmed up to her so quickly and became friends with her in no time, which gave us so much peace of mind. She sent detailed and fun updates after every visit, letting us know how they were doing and everything she did with them. We also loved all the adorable pictures she clicked during her visits! Knowing our babies were in such good hands allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation. We will definitely be reaching out to her again the next time we need someone to take care of our cats.

After the second time having Alexis watch our cats, she is still just as great! She’s very thorough with asking questions, clarifying what we want, answering our questions, giving descriptions of what happened each visit as well as giving the cats a lot of attention (both pets and playtime) . It was also very difficult to give one of my cats her med as she was very untrusting, hissy and swatting at first. Alexis helped problem solve what might be most effective and was able to give her meds each time after this! Thank you, Alexis. Would definitely recommend her.
