“Ashley is wonderful! We’ve hired her to walk our two small pups midday M-F on a long term basis and we’re SO happy that we found her. She’s very communicative, kind, thoughtful and so very loving to our pups. It gives us great peace of mind knowing that our little ones are getting love and attention, exercise, fresh air, treats, play time and tummy rubs while we’re away. We highly recommend her. Thank you Ashley!!”

About: Since I could open my eyes, there has been a dog in front of them. Growing up, my family bred and raised AKC yellow labs. I also worked for a horse/dog breeder, helping take care and market Aussie puppies. I also have experience with senior dogs. My senior lab lost all function in his hind end towards the end of his life and I was his primary care giver. Senior care was the hardest and most fulfilling job I’ve had. I am currently in school to become a veterinary technician and I have been working in a clinic setting for almost a year now. I am taking a break from the clinic to focus on school and enjoy my summer. Send your furry friends my way!❤️🐾 I’m doing some other little side jobs but I am free otherwise. I have school that I need to attend to daily. I was working at a veterinary clinic but I am now taking a break to focus on school and enjoy the summer. I am also offering nail trims for an extra charge ;) I have two dogs at my house that are not friendly to other dogs. This means that I will be strictly keeping dogs at owners houses, streets, towns, etc. and there will be no chance of interaction between my dogs and any other dogs ☺️

“Cynthia responded quickly to a last minute request for a weeklong daily commitment! And did a great job walking Joy (I can only assume, no complaints from the doggy)”

About: Hi, I’m Reagan! I’ve been caring for pets and homes for years, and I truly believe there’s nothing more rewarding than building trust with a family—and earning the love of their animals. Whether I’m spending a weekend with your pup or staying for a weeklong vacation, I bring reliability, compassion, and experience to every home I enter. What sets me apart? I don’t just show up to feed and walk your pets—I take the time to understand their unique needs and personalities. I’m comfortable administering medications (both oral and topical), supporting senior pets with gentle care, and working with puppies on basic training, routines, and structure. I’ve helped housetrain dogs, reinforce crate habits, and even soothe anxious animals through calm energy and consistency. Overnight care is a big part of what I offer. I know how important it is for pets to stay in their familiar environment, so I do my best to keep their routines as normal and comforting as possible. From evening walks and bedtime cuddles to early morning feeding and play, I’m there to provide full-circle care while also keeping your home neat, secure, and respected. When you hire me, you’re not just getting a sitter—you’re gaining someone who genuinely cares, communicates openly, and puts your pet’s happiness and well-being first. For me, pet care isn’t just a side job—it’s something that’s woven into my daily life. Whether I’m starting the morning with a neighborhood dog walk, checking in on a cat mid-day, or spending the evening with a family’s furry best friend, animals are a part of my everyday rhythm—and I genuinely love it. Because I structure my schedule around pet care, I’m able to give animals the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. I make space in my day for everything from long walks and litter box cleanings to medication routines, mealtime needs, and play sessions. I’m also available for overnight stays, which means I’m there not just for quick visits, but for full routines—from morning meals to nighttime snuggles. I’ve worked with high-energy dogs who need structure, cats who just want a calm presence nearby, and even pets who need medications or gentle training. I know how much trust it takes to hand over care of your animal—and your home—and I take that seriously. Because this isn’t just a job I squeeze in; it’s a part of who I am and how I choose to spend my time. Simply put: I’ve built my life around being there for animals. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything. When it comes to caring for your pets and your home, I know that trust is everything. You’re not just looking for someone to feed your animals—you’re inviting someone into your space, and trusting them with two of your most valued things: your pets and your peace of mind. That’s why I lead every pet sitting experience with three priorities: safety, trust, and environment. Safety is always my top concern. From making sure doors are secure and leashes are clipped properly, to handling medications with care or recognizing signs of stress or illness—I treat your animals as if they’re my own. I’m calm under pressure, reliable with routines, and always double-check the details. Trust is earned, and I work hard to build it—with both pets and their people. I’m respectful of your home, communicative throughout my stay, and attentive to even the smallest instructions. I believe in transparency, kindness, and keeping you updated so you can truly relax while you’re away. And just as important is environment. Animals thrive in a space that feels calm, clean, and familiar. Whether I’m staying overnight or popping in for daily visits, I do everything I can to maintain their routine and make them feel safe, secure, and loved in their own home. To me, this is more than a service—it’s a responsibility I take to heart. Your pets and your space deserve someone who truly cares. And I do.

About: I grew up having dogs and cats as pets throughout my childhood. I've had some formal training and experience volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society as a Dog Walker / Kennel Buddy as well as 8 months of full-time professional pet care experience working with a local company based out of the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood. I've been a reliable and consistent pet sitter for friends both short-term and extended stays. Many compliments have been given about how clean their home is when they come back from their trip! It is an honor being chosen to take care of and loving your pets as much as possible! If I am staying overnight, I make sure to devote as much of my free time to being present and actively engaged with your pets according their specific needs. I do have a part-time job in which I work a couple of 8 hour shifts per week, but because it is a flexible schedule, I have the choice to schedule my days to fit around the needs of your pet(s). I believe in leaving your living space at least as clean or cleaner than I found it. I understand how huge a responsibility it is to take care of not only someone else's pets, but their home as well. If any issues arise, I notify you soon as possible. I love sending updates as much as you need - especially snapping album worthy photos and video clips so that you feel safe knowing how well loved and taken care of your pets are!

“Erin house sat for me over the holiday. She communicates well. The dogs and cat looked happy when I got back. She sent me updates on Bruce and Roxie and Cuddles. I found Erin to be professional, trustworthy, good head on her shoulders and I could tell she treated my dogs & cat as if they were her own. I think they would prefer if I went out of town more often ha ha I certainly recommend Erin for pet/house sitting. Thank you again Erin [One last thing I didn't find Erin threw this Rover site. I didn't know it even existed until I received a email asking me to write a testimonial on Erin and my experience with her and my animals. Anyone that has Erin watch their animals won't be disappointed]”

“Shayla is not only a trusted person, but also a trusted friend. When I lived in Portland, she was the only person I ever felt comfortable with to watched my dog, Margot - who loves Shayla like family. The first night I got Margot, I had an event and left her in Shayla’s care. Being a rescue dog, Margot had firm boundaries that Shayla respected whole providing the space Margot needed to adjust at that time. I believe that’s why Margot loves Shayla as much as she currently does. Shayla is considerate, respectful, kind, and has a caring energy about her that animals adore. I recommend her for your pet caring needs.”

“I don't trust anyone else! I have rescue dogs and they are very hard to handle. They have separation anxiety, are afraid of everything, and can sometimes be aggressive. But Samantha always does a wonderful job and puts my mind at ease while I'm away!”

Alexandria S.

“Alexandria loves ANIMALS, especially cats! She has 3 cats and 2 dogs. She loves trees and being in the wilderness. She is going to college to become a park ranger.”
