About: My husband and I live in SoDo next to Lake Davis which has a wonderful walking path, wildlife and lots of neighbors walking their own dogs. We have two mini dachshunds named porter and Barley, and we love our fur children. We have a big, fenced-in backyard for zoomies. Barley is the co-founder of Dachshunds of Orlando meet up group every 1st Sat and 3rd Sun of the month at Lake Druid Dog Park. Find us on Facebook! Barley prefers to hang out with small dogs like himself but is good with all people and dogs. We would love to watch Dachshunds. If your dog stays with us we will take extra precaution to make sure they have their own private space when left alone.

About: I’ve been taking care of my friends dogs for a few years and I genuinely enjoy all the different doggy personalities - also it’s a great way to go on walks for my own health too 😅 I work from home every day, I have the flexibility to care for fur friends and take them on walks multiple times a day. About: I got my first dog when I was in 6th grade and he was a shitzu. He was the calmest dog I ever had and people told me he kind of resembled me. That was 14 years ago and I have learned a lot of patience, love, and care throughout that time. After he passed 6 years ago, I’ve continued to love animals through fostering (longest was 2 months) and dog sitting both short term and long term. While your pet stays in my home overnight, I will give all my attention to whatever needs they have. I will play with your dog as if they were my own because that is how much I I love them. My special skill is that I am patient with pretty much everything I do so when it comes to your pets, I will keep a cool head when things get “hairy”. I am currently working part time and will have plenty of time to give them attention and company. I also live in a dog friendly neighborhood with plenty of walking trails that will be perfect to explore! I try my best to treat all pets as if they were my own. I also don’t mind if they snuggle next to me on the bed or if they want to relax on the couch.

About: I've been pet-sitting for friends, family, and referrals for the past 10 years. Yorkies, Doodles, Dachshunds, and other mixed breed dogs, cats, and birds. I love caring for pets, especially cats and dogs and keeping them on their routines, feeling safe and loved while their owners are away. I've cared for senior dogs and have administered medications to both cats and dogs. I love taking dogs for their walks ...I personally walk 3+ miles every day and will gladly sit for dogs who love a good, long walk. I typically do overnight stays from 2 nights to 6 weeks. I am now accepting dogs, one at a time, for day sits in my home. I have a big fenced in yard and currently no pets. As a writer and yoga teacher I work from home and have lots of time to play with, walk and provide lots of loving attention to your pets. I do not currently have a pet. I used to have cats and I love all pets. I have a fenced in back yard. I typically pet sit in the pet's home when owners travel and am now offering daycare for one dog at a time in my home. I love to send pictures of the pets to their owners to let them know their pet is happy and well cared for.
