About: I’ve had all kinds of pets growing up through childhood, always had dogs and cats especially. Worked at a vet clinic for 2 years, loved it and miss it. Took courses on animal care and calming while working in the clinic. I’m currently working at Amazon as a flex employee, right now I’m only working 1-2 days a week there. I make my own schedule there and I plan to make my pet sitting schedule a priority. I won’t be able to bring any pets to my house for the time being, but going to houses I love playing with all the pets:) Always have had the biggest love for pets.

About: I recently moved near Lake Eola, so I’m a new local! About a year ago, I lost my sweet pup and while I’m not quite ready to open my heart to getting another dog of my own, I’ve realized just how much I miss the little things 🥺 seeing tails wag when I walk through the door, the smell of Frito paws and somehow always finding fur stuck to my clothes. I’d love the opportunity to pour that love and care into your fur babies. Truthfully, I’m not doing this because I need to.. I simply miss being around dogs and all the joy they bring. Becoming a dog walker and sitter feels like the perfect way to reconnect with that part of my heart while giving your pup the attention, belly rubs, affection, and care I gave my own. My goal is simple: to love and care for your pup as if they were my own 🤍🐾 Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I currently work on weekends, which means my weekdays are very open and flexible. I know many people have busy 9–5 schedules, long days and unexpected things coming up so my availability makes life a little easier. Living in a building myself, I understand that apartment living with a pet can sometimes mean extra trips downstairs, rushing home during lunch breaks, or trying to squeeze walks into an already busy day. I’m willing and able to help with walks, potty breaks, playtime, and making sure your pup gets the attention and care they need while you’re away 😊 Every dog has their own personality, routine, schedule and comfort level so I want to make sure every pet parent feels secure and confident when letting me sit or walk. I’m big on following instructions because I understand the consequences that come with negligence. I can handle feeding schedules, medications, crate preferences, potty routines etc! I also believe safety goes both ways. I’d love to know about any previous aggression, fears, triggers, anxieties, or behaviors I should be aware of beforehand so I can take any extra precautions needed and approach your pup with patience, understanding, and care. Every dog deserves to feel safe and comfortable, and knowing these things helps create the best experience for both of us 🐕‍🦺

About: I’ve owned dogs since I was 9 years old and have had many experiences with all different breeds, especially small to medium sized dogs. I am a proud owner of an adorable senior Shih Tzu (13 years old), who still has puppy energy, and have obtained key skills in caring for senior dogs, small breed dogs, and high energy dogs. I typically use 1-calorie training treats while walking to build trust with new dogs and have water available while walking. I will bring poop bags for dog pick up. I’m currently a full time student, however I am available on weekdays and weekends at various times to care for you dog. Please do not hesitate to contact me I currently have a senior Shih Tzu and understand the amount of care and patience needed for senior dogs. He is very friendly and is very social with both people and other dogs. I have had many small to medium sized dogs throughout my life and understand how to provide quality care to dogs of these sizes. From specialized food, medicine, bathing, and walk routines, I have experienced the many variations needed for breeds like Shih Tzu’s, yorkies, basset hounds, and beagles. I would love to assist with larger dogs and more energetic dogs to help with the exercise needs.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life- growing up, our family dogs always slept in my room, played hide and seek with me, and I've always been the one naturally drawn to caring for and protecting animals that crossed my path. I currently have my own furry kid, a Shih Tzu/ Bichon mix with a pink tail, so daily walks, feeding/ potty routines, playtime, and lots of love is my joy, my connection with my soulful self. I was a schoolteacher for 8 years, elementary and middle school. I'm patient, attentive, kind, and treat every pet like I'd want a human to treat my baby. I'm comfortable with puppy care, the frequent potty schedule, supervision, and playtime. I'm also comfortable caring for senior dogs (as my Boston terrier lived beautifully until the age of 15). Taking extra time on walks, giving meds, making sure they feel safe and comfy, just how I'd hope someone would care for me and/or Madi. I think I'm unique in the way that I see that every dog just like all of my former students, they're all different. They each have their own little mind filled with thoughts in their own little world. The kids and 4 legged kids, they need the same individualized care and attention, and also to feel accepted and understood. I run a small truckling company which allows me to have pretty flexible hours during the day, which is why I decided to get on Rover. Madi and I are pretty routine, as we prefer less chaos lol. I would request detailed instructions on routines, fun games, food/walk/play schedules, anything that makes this unique boy or girl the most comfortable they can be!, which will be a win/win for paw parents.
