“Leda is amazing with my Toby. When I drop him off he rushes to the door to see her doesn’t even look back to say Bye to his mommy . It’s a great feeling when I drive away!”

“Martha was so caring and my pup absolutely adored her! My pup Maddy is paraplegic and got the senior care and love she needed— even sunbathed!🌞 Once home, certainly slept through the night. Thank you Martha!”
About: I got my first dog when I was in 6th grade and he was a shitzu. He was the calmest dog I ever had and people told me he kind of resembled me. That was 14 years ago and I have learned a lot of patience, love, and care throughout that time. After he passed 6 years ago, I’ve continued to love animals through fostering (longest was 2 months) and dog sitting both short term and long term. While your pet stays in my home overnight, I will give all my attention to whatever needs they have. I will play with your dog as if they were my own because that is how much I I love them. My special skill is that I am patient with pretty much everything I do so when it comes to your pets, I will keep a cool head when things get “hairy”. I am currently working part time and will have plenty of time to give them attention and company. I also live in a dog friendly neighborhood with plenty of walking trails that will be perfect to explore! I try my best to treat all pets as if they were my own. I also don’t mind if they snuggle next to me on the bed or if they want to relax on the couch.
“Kristie such a stellar Rover — kind, compassionate, communicative, reliable, and a dog whisperer to boot. She immediately made my dog feel at home, and he can’t wait to go back!”

“Lesia is simply awesome, and she was just that with my fur babies. My Benson and Bella were comfortable with her. I appreciate her professional demeanor and her detailed reporting of all that took place during the stay at doggy day care. I look forward to working with Lesia again!”

“First time leaving our 12 year old fur baby with Amelia and Christina. They sent pictures though out the day. They took her for a walk and she was treated as part of the family. Thank you so much!!!!!”

About: I've been pet-sitting for friends, family, and referrals for the past 10 years. Yorkies, Doodles, Dachshunds, and other mixed breed dogs, cats, and birds. I love caring for pets, especially cats and dogs and keeping them on their routines, feeling safe and loved while their owners are away. I've cared for senior dogs and have administered medications to both cats and dogs. I love taking dogs for their walks ...I personally walk 3+ miles every day and will gladly sit for dogs who love a good, long walk. I typically do overnight stays from 2 nights to 6 weeks. I am now accepting dogs, one at a time, for day sits in my home. I have a big fenced in yard and currently no pets. As a writer and yoga teacher I work from home and have lots of time to play with, walk and provide lots of loving attention to your pets. I do not currently have a pet. I used to have cats and I love all pets. I have a fenced in back yard. I typically pet sit in the pet's home when owners travel and am now offering daycare for one dog at a time in my home. I love to send pictures of the pets to their owners to let them know their pet is happy and well cared for.
“Omg Rachel is the best!!! She always takes such good care of our little Micah!!! Takes him for walks and gives him lots of love and attention just the way he likes it. Thank you so much for taking such good care of him while daddy and daddy are at work”

“Sara took great care of our pup, Cleo! Cleo came home happy and relaxed from her recent day care stay, and Sara kept us updated with photos and messages. Highly recommend Sara for anyone looking for a responsible and caring dog-sitter.”

“Thanks Morgan for always being so kind and professional! Rosie loves coming to your house and I appreciate how you and your son take great care of her and the other dogs.”

“The Best Dog Sitter I Could Ask For! I couldn’t be happier with Kimberly! She's been watching my baby boy every week, and her care and compassion toward him warms my heart. From the moment we met her, it was clear she has a genuine love for animals and enjoys making them feel comfortable and happy. Each week, she goes above and beyond, ensuring Cooper gets oodles of attention. The cute photos she sends and text updates alway shows me he being so well cared for. She even brushes him when he visits, LOL! I love how quickly she responds when we communicate and how kind she is to me every time we interact. If you’re looking for someone who is caring, dependable, and loves dogs as much as you do, look no further than Kimberly. We’re so grateful to have found her!”

About: I've always been the one to take care of family and friends pets and when rover came around it was a great way to get to know many different pups I work from home so it makes it easier to be with them and care for them the right way. Walks and feeding and playing I live in a closed community and so they are safe to walk . Also have a fenced in dog park so they can play
About: Beginning in childhood, I’ve had several dog breeds (over 20!) that I’ve been tasked to take care of, play with, keep healthy and whose needs I’ve grown to pay attention to and understand. I adore animals and I approach them gently and mindfully, always considering what support will help prolong their lifespan and keep them happy, yet trained and behaved. My friends and family often call on me to either keep their pets company, train or housesit them, and I’m always more than happy to spend time with their animals. I firmly believe pets are not toys, and much more like our own kids, deserving of care, compassion, joy and attention. I have 17+ years experience taking care of and loving French bulldogs and pugs, who notoriously require extra responsibility, attention and instruction, as they can be stubborn and prone to health and breathing issues (often brought on by heat). I have cared for senior dogs who deserve nothing but love towards the end of their lives, and also puppies who need time spent on training and feeling safe, and lots of play and activity to stimulate their growing minds. I am a graduate student, with flexible availability between Saturday to Tuesday, during my off days, when I’ll be studying from home, often lounging and relaxing in my space. Having a pet to look after, feed and care for would not only be a very welcomed time commitment, but would make my space feel even more homely and bring me joy. I have enough time to play with dogs, pay attention to their unique needs and keep them active and joyful, or to simply accompany them while they rest and rejuvenate. I have a spacious apartment and a shaded dog park within my apartment community, as well as a dog wash corner next to the park - helpful during hot days in Florida. I am extremely mindful towards any pet staying with me, and provide them with a comfortable, safe and cooled space, in which I am committed to staying aware of their habits, likes and dislikes, and learning to understand their groove. There are several areas for them to use the bathroom outside, take a walk within the apartment community, as well as designated pee pads inside the apartment. I am happy to be in touch with the clients as often as needed, to help them feel at ease about letting their little one stay with someone new. I care about building trust with a dog, and taking the time to grow our bond, so they can be at ease in their surroundings and reduce any anxiety from a new environment.
“Took such great care of little Miss Fancy Pants that the next time I dropped her off she ran up and jumped on him (and dobermans are very selective in who they like).”

“I cannot say enough about Shirley and how wonderful she treated my dogs. I was nervous because it would be my first overnight away from them insomeone else’s home and she was fantastic so many updates, I felt I was there. 5+ stars from a nervous doggy mama, thanks so much 😀💙”

Coytown dog parents share their Rover experiences
Absolutely terrific! The whole process was extremely easy. Sending pictures of our doggies and seeing how happy and relaxed they were brought so much ease to my mind. This was our first time ever using a pet sitter and we will be using Barb for all future dog sitting needs!

Veronica was super sweet, great communication and so accommodating. She took on a last minute booking. Veronica made Sadie a room to get acclimated with her environment, before she got acclimated with Veronica. She sent me updates w pictures. But most of all she provided safe environment w lots of love for Sadie.

This was my first time using Rover, and Felipe was absolutely outstanding! He was incredibly accommodating, taking my reservation on very short notice. My two pups warmed up to him almost immediately, which was a huge relief, especially for my 2 year old, who is usually quite skeptical of new people. Felipe provided excellent peace of mind by sending frequent photo updates of their walks and them just hanging out. He was truly fantastic with them, and I’m already looking forward to rebooking with him whenever I need support in the future. Thank you kindly, Felipe!
Douglas was very patient with our dog Luna. He seemed knowledgeable and we felt confident in his ability to care for our dog while we enjoyed the town. We could tell he really enjoys caring for dogs. He also sent updates and pictured throughout the day which helped keep us at ease. We will book again if he will have us.

This was our first time leaving Willow with someone we didn’t know. This was a great first experience. Kristie was helpful and quick to communicate. She was also flexible when we want to change it from a dog sitting to a dog boarding. She sent us pictures each day. The pick up and drop was a a breeze. I would recommend using Kristie.

Our pup, Petra, didn't end up staying with Marie, but it was no fault of Marie's. She wasn't feeling well, and though Marie tried her very best to coax her to stay with her, she clinged to us so badly, that we and Marie decided it was best for her not to make her stay and be so stressed out. We really appreciate the effort made by Marie!
