“Kathe was absolutely wonderful while caring for my cats this past week she came every day and even added extra morning visits on two occasions which I really appreciated. She made sure they were well fed, had fresh water, and kept their litter robot clean and running perfectly. Their food, water and bathroom areas were spotless. She provided daily updates with notes and multiple pictures which gave me so much reassurance while I was away. She also took the time to do a complementary meet and greet beforehand, which made me feel even more comfortable. Most importantly, my cats loved her. She gave me complete peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I’m truly so grateful for her care and would absolutely book with her again. I will highly recommend her to everyone that I know! 💝”

“This was the third time Miranda has cared for our Frenchies, Louie and Paris, and once again, she did an amazing job! We had a doctor’s appointment and were away for the day, but we had total peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. She’s attentive, reliable, and clearly loves our pups—they absolutely adore her! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, trustworthy sitter.”

About: I am an outdoorsy, Pre-PT student in undergrad. I love pets and house sitting, the extra cash really helps with school! My family has raised several puppies and has 8 dogs, so I’m very comfortable with all ages and sizes and it brings me a lot of joy to have some pets to look after every once and a while! Reach out and I’d love to coordinate with ya. :) I am a Pre-PT college student in her senior year! Looking to make some extra cash doing something I love. I am free most evenings and don’t mind an early morning. I have worked with dogs for quite a while in a variety of different housing situations. I have experience with anything from a fenced-in yard to an invisible fence. I am happy to administer medicine to dogs and follow through on any feeding schedule or preferences. I love to play with, walk, and interact with dogs and am able to establish boundaries with them confidently.
“Amber was so wonderful! She made us feel so much better about leaving our kitten for a few days because she sent many pictures and long descriptions of what our kitten was up to. She genuinely cares about your pet & we would 100% use her again!”

“Alexandra was so wonderful with our cat and was a great communicator, sending us photos and videos over the course of her visits. We felt at ease knowing our ‘baby’ was being loved on and cared for by her while we were away!”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs most of my life. Currently, we own two German Shepherd dogs. I understand how scary it is to leave them under someone else’s care. I am a teacher so I’m am currently out for the summer. I am early to rise so I could walk your dog in the morning. My schedule will change in August. I could not house another dog because we have an invisible fence and crates for our two dogs. I would be happy to come and feed, walk and play with your pets at their home.
About: Hi! I am a stay at home mom in the Chattanooga, TN area that would love to care for your pets! I have been caring for friend's and family's pets since I was nine years old, from a rat named Hershey's to a Dogo Argentino named Snoopy (fish, cats, lizards, and chickens as well). I myself have had many pets since being a child including my current snuggly senior Pug, Chloe and a gregarious French Bulldog, Lilo. I have cared for all age pets from puppies/kittens to seniors. I have had my own litters, and helped others with their fur babies from basic training, walking, overnight care, and administering basic first aid and prescription medicine. Everyone that enters my home is considered family, including their pets! I would love to invite your little (or large) loved one(s) into my home to be loved and cared for. I take care of dogs and chickens daily, it is a special and rewarding part of my day. Animals bring me such peace, and caring for them is one of my greatest joys. I take impeccable care of both my pets and others, not only are they loved but they have a schedule they can rely on. When caring for pets in other's homes, I believe it is most important to treat their pets and home with total respect and detailed care. I also love to send photos/videos so pet parents can be rest assured that their pets are being lovingly cared for. I live on an acre with a fully fenced yard (six feet) for the pups to go in off leash and run around and play. I take time to slowly introduce pups so they can be comfortable with one another to play and socialize during their stay with me. I ask that you bring anything you feel will make their stay more comfortable for them treats, toys, bed, crate if they sleep in one, etc. I try to keep their stay with me as close to their home life in order to keep them on schedule and less stressful for them during their stay with me.
“Catherine took amazing care of our cats (1 elderly and needs medication) while we were away and did a great job at keeping us updated. We look forward to using her again in the future!?”

“We needed someone to take care of our backyard goats while we were gone and she was more than happy to help us out. Plus, she brought our goats celery as a treat so bonus points for that! Thanks again!”

“Austin did a great job with our boys (cats). He went out of his way to look for them to be sure they were ok. We will definitely want to use Austin again knowing how well he cared for them”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals of all kinds—dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, goats, chickens, and turkeys! Caring for pets has always been second nature to me. I understand that every animal has its own personality and needs, and I love taking the time to make each one feel safe, happy, and loved while their people are away. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my routine—I plan my days around feeding, playtime, and cuddles. Most days I can check in within 6 hours, occasionally up to 8. Keeping pets happy, safe, and comfortable is always my top priority. I follow each pet’s routine closely, providing feeding, playtime, walks, and lots of attention. I keep the home safe and tidy, sending updates so owners know their pets are happy.
About: I grew up with dogs and a cat, and often took neighborhood pet sitting jobs. I also worked with small animals on a local farm for several years, and currently live in a house with two dogs, who I help care for when their owners are away. Over the past six years or so, I’ve done pet and house sitting for various clients, and it’s been a fantastic experience! I look forward to meeting your pets and helping give you the time away you deserve! I work local to Chattanooga as a freelance editor and artist, so I’m able to work from anywhere! My schedule is flexible most days, so please don’t hesitate to reach out. I have plenty of experience caring for big dogs, small dogs, and cats, and am counting down the days until I’m able to have one of my own. Sadly, I’m not in a position to bring any pets home to my current residence, but that means I have lots of extra attention I can give to your pets while you’re away! Your routines and specific-to-you needs regarding your home and pets are important, and my goal is to make sure those needs are provided for. Whether you’re gone for the night on business or spending a week on vacation, don’t hesitate to reach out! I prioritize open communication, and you will receive regular updates while you’re away. Excited to hear from you!

Kathe was fantastic with Trail! He gets so lonely by himself and she was great about giving him attention with playtime, his treat puzzles, couch snuggles, and nature shows. She was so thoughtful to his needs and our requests. We are grateful and would happily book again!

Angela was great, and took exceptional care for my kitties over the holiday. One of my cats has special needs, and she was great with him. She was on time, and always updated me regarding the visits and sent pictures. I would definitely recommend her, and will be using her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
