Top rated Collegedale house sitters

“Michaela was amazing as always with our dogs and our chickens. We came back to a clean house, and clean sheets in the dryer! Our puppies were happy and we got lots of pictures. We will book again!”

“We have booked Justin numerous times to stay with our boys and we trust him completely with them! They love him so much! It’s a special treat for them when he visits!”

“Bobi was the best sitter I’ve had in the 5 years I’ve had Honey. He was able to kindly accommodate a last minute scheduling request to stay at my house with my dog. Able to walk her daily for the long walks she requires, I came home to a happy, tired dog after 5 days of being away. That’s a first. Usually sitters can’t keep up with her physical demands. He sent me just the right amount of photos and updates. Not too much to where I would have been reminded how much I missed her, but enough to make me feel like she was getting the care and love she needs. He’s a great communicator. Most of all, his calm, kind energy is such a lovely experience for what I would suspect most animals attune to. It was clear how much she loved and appreciated him. When he came to drop off the keys, my normally very hyper dog calmly laid next to him with his hand on her back. The isn't normal for her to be quite so cuddly. Her behavior was the rave review that made my heart sing. If I need a sitter again, I will not hesitate to book Bobi. He also left the house as immaculate as it was when he got here. Thank you!!!”

“JaNiya is a phenomenal housesitter, especially if you have shy animals (but *any* animal would love her!). We have two skittish greyhounds and a very shy adopted cat. Within one day, our cat was sitting in JaNiya’s lap, and our dogs were relaxed and happy. I couldn’t believe it! She has such a calm, tender presence, and you can tell she adores animals. She’s even studying to be a veterinarian! Do not pass her up! She’s the only housesitter we’ll use from now on!”

“Carly was wonderful. She loved on my dogs during two thunderstorms, gave them medicine, and was a great communicator. When we returned our house (and dogs!) were cleaner than when we left them. Will definitely hire again!”

“LaDonna was one of the best sitters we’ve had. She not only took care of our two dogs(one being a puppy), but also provided our 14 week old puppy with additional training. We were also impressed with how clean the house was when we returned! She even washed the sheets and made the bed! She also sent us some of the cutest pictures! You can’t go wrong with hiring LaDonna!!”

“Lauren was fantastic. She was very quick to communicate. She sent lots of pics and updates. She followed the many instructions we left for all the animals, and if she wasn't sure she clarified. She stayed overnight with our fur babies and took excellent care of all of them. Even our stray cat we feed! Our animals loved her and were very happy and well taken care of. Would highly recommend and definitely book with her again.”

About: I have always had a special love for animals! I grew up on a farm and was constantly surrounded by dogs and cats, loving every moment of it! I am currently in between employment, so my schedule is extremely flexible to fit the needs of caring for your pets to ensure you have peace of mind while away. A detailed explanation of your pets needs that is easy to follow, will help me care for your pets like they are my own and meet their needs as if you never left.

About: Hi there! I am unfortunately unable to accept new canine clients at this time. Due to my full time job, I simply don’t have the time that your fur babies deserve. If you are a reoccurring client or have booked with me in the past, I will accept requests if I am available. Thank y’all for everything! I have been caring for animals ever since I was about 10 years old. Whether that was fostering a litter of puppies with my family or pet sitting for the neighbor, I wanted to constantly be caring for animals. At 14, I got my first job at a veterinary clinic as a kennel technician; by 16 I was a vet tech assistant and at 17 I was promoted to vet tech. I’m currently in school for my associates degree in veterinary technology with hopes to put that education towards a veterinary medical technician license. All of this to say, I am extremely qualified and happy to care of your fur baby while you’re away! However, my availability is limited due to my full time job and school. I’m currently working at an emergency veterinary hospital in 4 days a week, typically 10-12 hour shifts. I can’t always guarantee being available for a booking and I apologize for that but there are so many other amazing sitters on Rover who I know are just as qualified! I look forward to seeing your fluffy cuties :) I am currently attending college as well as working 40 hours a week. My work schedule keeps me pretty busy but in my free time I love pet sitting. The days I work change every week so my availability will probably vary. Unfortunately I can’t offer pet boarding at my house. I have 6 dogs and one of them is a rescue that is very aggressive towards strangers (humans, dogs, cats, etc.)

“JD not only took great care of my dog for 11 day he went the extra mile taking him on at least one, sometimes two walks a day. He also took great care of my home and contacted me regularly. I would give him 10 stars if I could!”

“Keelee did an amazing job. I am a little paranoid when it comes to my animals being taken care of and knowing how she took care of them gave me piece of mind. I would definitely use her again.”

“Jade was a wonderful choice for my four day trip. I specifically wanted in-home care that would be more than a five minute visit every 8 hours and Jade was great! She spent lots of time with my dog and checked in with me daily. Setting up the service was great and she communicated well.”

About: I bring over a decade of experience caring for pets, fueled by a lifelong love for animals and professional expertise as a wildlife biologist. Growing up with animals, I developed a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets, from playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra attention and care. One of my proudest accomplishments is training my husky puppy—a breed known for its independence—to be off-leash, a process that required patience, consistency, and a strong bond of trust. I’ve also worked extensively with other dogs on leash training, obedience, and building confidence, always tailoring my approach to suit each dog’s unique personality. In addition, I’ve cared for a dog with epilepsy for four years, which involved administering daily medication and providing specialized care to ensure their comfort and well-being. As a field biologist, I’ve even taken animals into the field, ensuring they were safe, comfortable, and happy in new and dynamic environments. These experiences have taught me to anticipate and meet animals’ needs while providing attentive, loving care. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or maintaining specific training and care routines, I’m dedicated to making every pet feel secure and loved. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’m here to provide reliable, compassionate care while you’re away! I’m currently working during the week so am only available for weekend house-sitting stays. If you need a weekend away though, I’m your gal! Whether it’s taking them on enriching walks, stopping by for check-ins, or providing some much-needed companionship while you’re away, I’m here to ensure they feel happy, cared for, and loved in your absence. I prioritize safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment for every pet I care for. My services are designed to meet your pet's needs in the place they feel most at ease: their own home or familiar surroundings during a walk. When visiting your home, I ensure your pet feels secure and loved by sticking to their established routines, whether that’s meal times, playtime, or a favorite walking route. I also take the time to build trust, so your pet feels relaxed and happy in my care. For walks, I tailor the experience to your pet’s energy level and personality, providing plenty of exercise, stimulation, and, of course, affection. My goal is to make every visit or outing stress-free and enjoyable for your pet, giving you peace of mind while you're away.

“My “cat” has to go out for a walk everyday because he refuses to use the indoor bathroom. If Austin can walk a cat, he can handle anything well! He’s also very responsive so I felt much relieved.”

“We love Denita! Our Samson loves Denita! She takes such great care of him and our home while she housesits for us! We will always look for her first! She’s friendly, reliable, and pays close attention to the details for the care of our dogs. I highly recommend Denita!”

“Brinley was a fantastic sitter for my pup! She provided excellent communication, sending multiple pictures and it was very evident how happy and relaxed he was in her care. Knowing that my buddy was in good hands was a huge stress relief. I will definitely book her again in the future!”

“Jasmine was fantastic, and took care of our dog like she was her own! I definitely recommend her!”

“Karissa was absolutely outstanding! My Dad was very sick and we needed someone to respond right away to our request. She was very communicative and understanding. Karissa went above and beyond to help care for my Dad’s dog and helped to put us at ease during a very stressful time for the family. I recommend her to ANYONE looking for pet care”

“Christa was great! I have an 8 year old dog and my roommate has a 6 month old puppy. This was definitely a challenging duo due to their different energy levels and special requirements and Christa seemed to take it all in stride. Very grateful she made it easy for us not to worry about the dogs on our trip.”
