Your Pets Will Be Safe and Loved
I grew up on an acreage surrounded by animals—dogs, cats, chickens, bees, and just about everything in between! Caring for animals has been a normal part of my life for as long as I can remember, so I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’m a young adult who loves people, animals, and adventure. Outside of pet sitting, I work in EMS, have served as a pastor, and am pursuing work in humanitarian aid. Those experiences have taught me to be dependable, compassionate, attentive, and calm when unexpected things happen. I’m also very active and love being outdoors, so if your dog wants long walks, playtime, or an adventure buddy, I’m all in. And if your pet would rather curl up on the couch and have some company, I’m pretty great at that too! Most importantly, I understand that you’re trusting me with a member of your family. I’ll care for your pets (and your home!) with the same kindness and attention I’d want someone to give my own.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I provide care in my clients’ homes, where pets can stay comfortable in the environment and routine they already know. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications or special routines I’m comfortable providing, playtime, and of course plenty of attention and affection. I’m respectful of both your pets and your home and will make sure everything is kept clean, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and in good hands. Every animal is different, so I’m always happy to learn their quirks, favorite activities, routines, and boundaries and adjust my care to what makes them feel safest and happiest.
Ratings and reviews
I’m Sophia’s mom, so I’ve had a front-row seat to how much she loves dogs and how naturally she connects with them. For about a year and a half, Sophia was paid to care for a Cockapoo named Barkley while his owner was at work. Barkley came to our house two or three days a week, and Sophia absolutely loved having him around. She played fetch with him, made sure he got plenty of exercise, and gave him lots of attention and affection. Barkley was always so excited to see her, and it was easy to see how much they enjoyed their time together. When Barkley and his owner moved away, our family got a Cockapoo of our own, Ginger. Sophia quickly became Ginger’s best friend. She took her to dog training and agility classes, played with her, and kept her active. They were truly inseparable. Even though Ginger was our family dog and Sophia wasn’t being paid to care for her, the time and love Sophia invested in her showed just how much dogs mean to her. Losing Ginger was heartbreaking for Sophia, and I know she would love the opportunity to build that kind of special relationship with other dogs. Sophia has such a big heart when it comes to pets. She is energetic, loves being outdoors and getting exercise. She will give your dog plenty of playtime, attention, and affection. If I needed someone to walk or care for my dog, Sophia would absolutely be someone I would trust. I know she will treat your dog like one of her own and make sure they get lots of love while you’re away.

Schedule
My schedule is flexible, which makes pet sitting a great fit for me! I work in EMS and have several days off a week. I’m careful to accept bookings where I know I can give your pets the time and attention they deserve. I don’t currently have a pet of my own, so I absolutely love getting to spend time with other people’s animals. I’m active and outdoorsy, so walks, playtime, and adventures fit naturally into my day—but I’m just as happy hanging out at home and keeping your pet company. When I accept a booking, I’ll make sure your pet’s routine works well with my schedule so they get plenty of attention, exercise, and love while you’re away.

- I’d love to know your pet’s normal routine, personality, energy level, feeding schedule, and favorite activities. Please let me know about any medications, medical needs, allergies, fears, behavioral quirks, or triggers I should be aware of. I’d also like to know how they do with other animals and people, how long they’re comfortable being left alone, and anything else that will help me keep them happy and safe.
